ehcache failed in production environment - spring

I am developing an SpringMVC application in following version :
Spring 3.2.0, Hibernate 3.6.9
Echache
It works fine on windows environment with Tomcat 6.18 (in development), but when we deployed into production environment (Cent OS), it gives the following error and deployment gets failed.
I am getting exactly what is root cause.

Completed shutdown of GlassFish runtime
We are in non-embedded mode, so fish.payara.server.internal.core.glassfish [113] has nothing to do.
The error "Unknown protocol: RFB" is coming from the Hazelcast component, which is trying to discover other cluster instances that could be running on port 5900. In some operating systems, very often on Mac, this port is occupied by VNC (remote desktop), which responds to Payara Server in an unexpected way.
There's a solution covered for Payara Enterprise users in the Payara Knowledge Base. I have access to it and will copy the relevant parts from it here.
There are various solutions possible:
Stop the process that occupies the port 5900 (e.g. VNC, which uses that port by default). Alternatively, you can change its port. Payara Server should then start OK.
Configure Payara Server to use a different port for Hazelcast. If you run Payara Server according to the above solution, you can then run command: asadmin set-hazelcast-configuration --startport=5901.
Directly edit the domain.xml in the directory glassfish/domains/domain1/config and change the port 5900 to something else. Then run Payara Server as usual.
Or change the Hazelcast port of Payara Server at startup. First, create a text file config.txt with one line set-hazelcast-configuration --startport=5901. Then start Payara Server with asdamin start-domain --postbootcommandfile config.txt. More on this in the documentation: https://docs.payara.fish/community/docs/5.2020.4/documentation/payara-micro/asadmin/pre-and-post-boot-scripts.html

Of course, the file exists in the path. And there is a security policy file with the following specification...(may be its not even loading.)
grant {
// Allow everything
permission java.security.AllPermission;
};
The original application was developed in an environment having only JDK 1.7, and I am working on a JDK 1.8 environment, though I have explicity specified 1.7 JDK in the compile settings and 1.7 JRE in the Run Configurations JRE settings.
What might be causing this? Any resolution?
The answer is in creating an entry in your lib/security policy file of your JRE.
Usually for Spring applications, the src/resources policy file will suffice, but for some reason it was not, especially when the logs/other files were going to be read from locations outside the project folders. Its a run time exception.

Do you know why this error?
I have set the sonar.properties correctly, including set the value of the sonar.search.port property to 0 as this link suggests: Sonar launch error, but the problem persists.
I hope you can give me a hand...
Regards!!!
UnComment below line in sonar property file and change port 9001 to 0
#sonar.search.port=9001
sonar.search.port=0
I had the same problem and i could fix it like this:
Go to this folder: sonarqube-x.x\conf
Open this file: sonar.properties
Find the word: #sonar.web.port
Change the value from 9000 to another port, like 9002
Save your changes
Start again your sonarqube
Access to the server with port 9000: http://localhost:9000
The reason could be the port number of sonarQube OR the one of elasticSearch instance used by sonarQube (I had a similar problem before), so the step to change both/one of those ports are :
Go to this folder: sonarqube-x.x\conf
Open this file: sonar.properties
For sonarQube port:
Find: #sonar.web.port
Change the value from 9000 to another port, like 9123; and un-comment the line (remove # in the beginning) sonar.web.port=9123
For sonarQube's elasticSearch instace port:
Find: #sonar.search.port
change this line To sonar.search.port=0 (this means that he will search for any available port and bind it)
Save your changes
Start again your sonarqube
Access to the server with the new specified sonarQube-port: http://localhost:9123
I experienced this error when upgrading SonarQube from version 5.6.7 to 6.7.1.
Originally I thought this was due to the port number but upon checking the web.log I noticed that there was an error relating to the LDAP plugin (2.2.0.608).
ERROR web[][o.s.s.p.Platform] Background initialization failed. Stopping SonarQube org.sonar.plugins.ldap.LdapException: The property 'ldap.url' is empty and no realm configured to try auto-discovery.
Updating the sonar.properties file with the correct configuration allowed SonarQube to start.
I just occurred an exactly same question as you did.
I started SonarQube with MariaDB 5.5, but I found some error messages in sonarqube-x.x/logs/web.log:
2021.01.21 14:36:17 INFO web[][o.s.p.ProcessEntryPoint] Starting web
......
2021.01.21 14:36:19 ERROR web[][o.s.s.p.Platform] Web server startup failed: Unsupported mysql version: 5.5. Minimal supported version is 5.6.
So I changed my database to MySQL 5.7 and it started successfully.
Not quite sure you had the same problem, but just check these log files and see what actually happened during starting.

On my startup.sh I added the following to the CATALINA_OPTS
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=10052 -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=true -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.password.file=/opt/tomcat-latest/conf/jmxremote.password
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.access.file=/opt/tomcat-latest/conf/jmxremote.access
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false -Djava.rmi.server.hostname=server1.example.com
My zabbix_agentd.conf contains the following:
PidFile=/tmp/zabbix_agentd.pid LogFile=/var/log/zabbix_agentd.log
LogFileSize=1 DebugLevel=3 Server=monitor.example.com
Hostname=server1.example.com ListenPort=10050 StartAgents=5 Timeout=30
I have already done the following:
successfully connected to the server using jconsole
remove authentication
telnet the server over port 10050 / 10052
The weird part is that the same setup works well for Tomcat6 with JDK7.
EDIT 1
I've updated the JDK version on the zabbix server to be newer than the JDK installed on my JAVA nodes - still same result - it ends with
ZBX_TCP_READ() failed: [4] Interrupted system call
UPDATE
So I figured it out eventually.
I had on my tomcat configuration file -Djava.rmi.server.hostname=server1.example.com
I miss understood that the hostname should be set to the monitoring server and to the monitored server hostname.
Apparently, there's a bug on Tomcat 6 and this directive does not work.
Remove it solved the problem completely.
Thanks,
Liron

Configuration file not found - JBoss7

I wanted to deploy a simple jsp application: I created and copied the myApp.war file to the $JBOSS_HOME/standalone/deployment folder.
Instead of deploying the war file , JBoss created *.war.failed ,
So I thought maybe it's a good idea to restart the jboss to see if it affects the deployment.
In some forums it was suggested to restart the JBoss through : $JBOSS_HOME/bin/jboss-cli.sh
But there was no shutdown or restart command.
While I was trying to restart , I ran the following command :
/usr/local/jboss7/bin/jboss-cli.sh -c ":shutdown(restart=true)"
JBoss stopped working , but it didn't start again.
Now , I want to start it again by :
$JBOSS_HOME/bin/standalone.sh
But it gives me the following exception :

I searched for the cause of the problem , and I found that probably there's a problem with standalone.xml file.
In /usr/local/jboss7/standalone/configuration/standalone_xml_history I have the following files , but not the standalone.xml
2014xxxx-xxxxxxxx
snapshot
standalone.initial.xml
current
standalone.boot.xml
standalone.last.xml
I'd like to know if I have to rename any of these files to standalone.xml ? (actually I tried renaming standalone.boot.xml to standalone.xml but it didn't work either !) or download a new one ? may I remove these xml files after having the new standalone.xml ?
If JBoss-7 is installed in $JBOSSHOME, the default standalone configuration file is $JBOSS_HOME/standalone/configuration/standalone.xml; $JBOSSHOME/standalone/configuration is the default value of the jboss.server.config.dir property; and running $JBOSSHOME/bin/standalone.sh with no options will start JBoss in standalone mode on Linux/Unix systems.
In order to use a different standalone configuration file it can be renamed to standalone.xml, put in jboss.server.config.dir if it is not already there and standalone.sh run with no options; or its file name can be given to standalone.sh as an argument to its -c option after it is put in jboss.server.config.dir, for example:
$JBoss_home/bin/standalone.sh -c standalone-full.xml
RedHat documentation for this is at https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/AS71/Command+line+parameters
I have had the best success with standalone/configuration/standalone-full.xml since it has the full configuration. It is shipped with JBoss-7. If you don't have it you could download a fresh copy of the distro to get it. What I always do is archive a zip of the distro for recovery in case something gets corrupted or lost in the working copy.
