I wrote a custom link in my page which created by views module, I want to click it to do something, then the page will refresh by ajax, how do I implement this?
I am sorry I didn't express myself clearly, I use Drupal 7, and the Views module to custom my own page.
You can use this module https://www.drupal.org/project/views_refresh or just use the code below in your JS to refresh the view.

Attach an event to the link, and when that is fired, execute an AJAX request.

I am using Drupal 7.54. I want to attach or embed a node add form to a view so that when a user submits the form, the view below the form will be updated in realtime via ajax. The form will be shown above the view. My view block name is Statuses Stream.
I tried Form block module and putting the form in the header section of my view using views ui, but after submit, it was redirecting to the node created page.
Then I tried Advanced Form Block module. I created a form using AFB module. The form name is Statuses. It is submitting the form with ajax, but it is not updating the view in the realtime. I have to refresh the page manually to show the created node below the form.
I am open to any solution programmatically or through a module.
Note: For those who know, I am trying to mimic the statuses module. It does exactly what I am looking for. The problem began when I came to know that it is not an entity. So now I am trying to make the same functionality with Content type.
You could use something like Views Refresh to manually update the view below instead of refreshing the page.
I am currently working on a small web app and this is the first time i am using Struts2. Here is what i am trying to achieve.
A Struts2 JSP page on form post, calls a struts action. Once this action completes it task, I need to return to the calling JSP with out any page reloading (avoid postback).

In Struts2 you can use Struts2-jQuery Plugin to achieve that pretty easily.
As AndreaLigios said, you can achieve this using struts-j query plug-in.
Create a remote page to display your result.
use
<sj:sbmit targets="[div_id]" />
on your main page to submit the form
Add a div to your main page to display the remote page.
<div id="[div_id]" />
In your struts.xml, just return the remote page as a result of your action.
I am creating dynamically loading tabs using jquery Ui tabs in my ASP.NET mvc3 project.
Here i have a product page. The product page contains left menus like Customer,Address,Contact,etc..
Here my process is when i click one my left menus, the tab created dynamically with Grid records.
And,
I'm creating a custom role provider and I set a Authorize attribute specifying a role in my controller and it's working just fine, like this:
[Authorize(Roles="SuperAdmin")]
public class SuperAdminController : Controller
...
If one user doens't have access to this controller, And click one of my left menu means,
he's redirected to login page. Its also working fine.
The problem is after the user logged in it didn't redirect the proper page in tab content area.
If my problem not understandable means please let me know..

If you carefully check the URL in the browser, you will see that the URL does not change when you load something by Ajax. That is the point of Ajax actually, you do not load the whole page, right?
Now as the state is not saved when you try to load the content using Ajax, your redirect URL is only the page you loaded initially. That is why you cannot go back to the tab you wanted to load.
I'm very new to yii, and I'm trying to integrate the facebook-wall-like style into my post list.
In short, I just want to add a "Load More" with ajax to load more posts at the bottom of the post list.
I know how to write ajax or html, but I don't know how to integrate this style into yii.
I'v tried the zii.widgets.CListView/CDetailView.. but I can't find ways to add ajax.
If there's anyone who knows the how-to, please share it with me.

Take a look at this extension, it is a pager that adds infinite scroll like in twitter - when you get to the bottom of the page it loads more content via ajax. If you prefer to load more only once a button is pressed, i'm sure it's just a matter of overriding the button's onclick event.
Can anyone provide a simple use of AJAX in a vb aspx page, so I can just reload a part of the page and not have to reload the entire web page?
UpdatePanel example from MSDN would be my suggestion for what you want.
