I am working on Windows Form app using C#. I have a gridview on my form that will contain 5 columns for Sr No, Item Name, Item Price, Item Qty and Item Amount. I want to have a set of five textboxes in the last row of my gridview so that I can enter my required values there and then upon entering the last value, the wholw row comprising of all the five items should get added to the gridview and again the last row should contains that set of textboxes for a newer entry. How can I achieve this?
Also is it possible to have the entries made in the gridview itself? I need to fetch entries from DB and after the user is done, the gridview entries will be stored again in the DB.
Please note that my app is WPF but for ease I have used Windows Form for just this Window.

I have seen at times, datagridviews using an extra cell placed right under the Header of the column, as a filter for the values in the specific column.
I know it is possible to do so through a templatefield in ASP but I need to alter a desktop application using a DataGridView to display the data.
Does anyone know how to add a filter row to the grid in a vb net desktop application?
If I place a textbox right below the header row of the grid, I will hide the first row of data and I want to avoid this; if I place a textbox somewhere on the form, it looks pretty tacky.
Thank you for any suggestion.
I have one web table, in this I want to delete particular record by clicking on record's delete button.
I got the value of row but I am not able to perform click on web button of particular row and also there is 2 buttons in one column.
How to click on delete icon of particular row?
You need to set a reference to the item within the specific row and then click on it - something like this:
Set oLink = Browser("myBrowser").Page("myPage").WebTable("myTable").ChildItem(iRow,8,"Link",0)
oLink.Click
You will potentially need to amend the "Link" and the number 8 in your own code. iRow represents the row you are trying to interact with.
Essentially what this code does is set an object reference to the first item of type "Link", in column 8 of the table, then uses a Click event to select it. If your delete icon is a WebButton, then replace "Link" with "WebButton" for example. The final 0 in the command tells UFT to select the first element matching the object type - you might need 1 if your two icons are in the same column of the table.
Let me know if that helped.
In Oracle APEX I have a tabular form that returns one row and has cancel, delete, submit, and add row buttons. When I click the add row button it adds an empty row to the form but I would like it to add a new row with certain columns already filled in containing the same data as the first row. I was thinking I'd have to add a PL/SQL process to the page. How would I go about doing this?
You could set the default value for each column in the report to be based on the value of a hidden item (a hidden item per column) and set the values of these hidden items in a page load process by running the same query that populates the first row of the report.
I am working in Oracle Apex .i want to add TextBox i-e Disease from AddNew Button because i have Multiple Entries for one TextBox.The entries will be selected from another table through POPUP LOV. Below is the picture.
I don't think I can explain it step by step here, but it sounds like you could make use of a Tabular Form in your case.
In a Tabular form, you can dynamically add-update-delete new rows with a button, and for each field you can have Popop LOVS or Comboboxes to select data from.
Here are a few things to note:
When you insert a Tabular Form in your page, you'll instantly get three processes; one for Automated Row Fetching and two for save-update operations. By default, these processes are triggered through a button. You might want to change that since you have other items to submit in your page.
In a tabular form, you define a SQL query and the resulting columns of that query becomes your fields. For each field, you can select whether you want it to be a Combobox, Popup LOV etc.
Since you want to use a single column "DISEASE" in your treatment table, you can use one of the list item types that support multiple values (generally separated by colons (:)) - for example, a Shuttle.
I'm using slickgrid 2.1 and successfully using a formatter for one of my columns in order to display a button that, when clicked, deletes the corresponding row from the grid.
My requirements and question: I need to only display this button in the row the user single-clicks on. When the user clicks one row, then another, the button from the first selected row needs to be hidden and the button on the second selected row needs to be displayed. How can I programmatically do this?
Many thanks.
