Difference between avaya DialogDesigner and OrchestraDesigner - ivr

I started to work directly in avaya OD but i dont have any knowledge regarding the advancement of avaya OD from DD.Can anyone please give information about the difference between avaya DD and avaya OD and related documents.

Orchestration Designer is basically new marketing name for the next release of Dialog Designer. I have developed voice applications for voice/experience portal and didn't find any fundamental differences between the two.

Dynamics 365 Team license alternative

Recently Microsoft announced some changes to their Dynamics 365 Teams license. The people who have these licenses will not be able to access Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, custom model driven apps etc and will have their own app like Sales Team member app.
These dedicated apps have restrictions of only 15 custom entities.
This change will cause some of our clients a lot of problems. As per my understanding, the only option they will have is to buy the full Dynamics license.
Am I correct on above? If no then feel free to correct me. If yes then can anyone suggest a good alternative?
Yes, the new licensing model is quite confusing.
I suggest to check the updated licensing guide (if not already done)
https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=866544
(if the link does not work, it is taken from here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365-release-plan/2020wave1/dynamics365-sales/license-enforcement-users-new-team-member-licenses)
Allthough this document is quite extensive, it is also recommended to talk with you MS Sales Rep (or anyone else who is responsible for you from MS side) to make sure all your needs are covered.

QlikView Resources

I want to add Qlikview Development to my skill-set. I have a C# and SQl background. Are there any free online resources to getting me going at developer level not end-user? What's the best starting place for me and the level of difficulty involved.
I am looking for resources that can help me to expert level. One resource I found is the Udemy course and if anyone has done it please share your review of the course content.
You can find good videos on youtube (like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ef_BigFXCis).
When you install qlikview, you have there a qlikview tutorial directory. Follow the pdf file and do everything on that pdf. it is very extensive, but after that you can start developing intermediate solutions. The PDF actually covers the whole QV official course.
After that, go to the qlikview cookbook site and start exploring more possibilities.
Find more blogs on QV and subscribe to them.
QV community is amazing. use it!
Qlikview is relatively easy to "get" at first, but don't be fooled by its simplicity - its a whole platform. I've been developing in QV 7 years now and still learn something new once in a while.
And I have to say it - its a very good choice! QV is amazing and very popular.
There isn't much I couldn't do with it.

BI Tool(information builders vs oracle BI

we are kind of in a ‘decision making situation’ to make a road map of our BI system.
I would like to hear experts opinion on Information Builders when compared to Oracle BI. I am working in Oracle BI but I dont have knowledge on Webfocus offered by Information Builders, so problably users who has knowledge on both sides, has a good overview on pros and cons.
Like to hear any opinion or suggestion.
Thanks in advance.
I currently work with IBI products and their reporting language WebFocus 8. This along with their new AppStudio development tool and BI Portal deployment platform. If you like being forced to use a GUI to build your user-facing components, having no good access to the HTML, then go with IBI and WF. Other than their having forced the developer to lose access to edit HTML, and tool generated code being horrid, it's a fairly good product. Their new push for responsive design is still early in its implementation. Lots of restrictions and good portions of their products rely on being both compatible with IE8 or used in IE. Not much of a fan of IBI.

Integrating Oracle Webcenter Interaction with Oracle Webcenter Spaces

This is a re-post of a question I posted in the Oracle OTN forum, but haven't yet had a response from - I suppose that doesn't bode too well - but I thought I'd try here.
I'm wondering if anyone has tried integrating Webcenter collaboration (i.e. the former Plumtree/BEA Aqualogic collaboration tools) with Webcenter Spaces?
To give a bit of background, I'm planning the migration of a Plumtree installation to Webcenter Spaces but my initial investigation work suggests that the diary and list functionality in Spaces does not have some of the key requirements highlighted by the current userbase as out-of-the-box functionality, e.g. the gantt chart views, sub tasks, recurring diary events, combined community views of projects, etc.
My thought is that Spaces could consume the services available through collaboration as portlets and link out directly to the project explorer in the same way that WCI does - so effectively just replacing the front-end?
Myself and my colleagues are going to investigate further anyway, but if anyone has experience in this area any comments would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Learn dynamics-crm programming at home

I want to learn dynamics-crm on my own and I have few questions.
Since it is not a free product, is there any way to run my code and test it (free)?
I am a PHP + Java + mysql/sqlserver programmer, I have seen c# syntax and I c that it is similar to Java, is that a good idea to study alone?
Where can I find good online resources to study from?
1) Microsoft offers a free 30 day trial for Dynamics CRM Online. You could probably get a new one when the old expires. http://crm.dynamics.com/en-us/trial-overview
2) Extending Microsoft CRM entails knowledge of C# and JScript. You should make the jump to C# if you want to be able to write plugins and such.
3) The best resource is definitely the Dynamics CRM 2011 SDK - It contains a lot of samples and is very well documented in its help file. It can be downloaded at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=24004. The CRM Developer Training Kit can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=23416. There are more good resources at the CRM Developer Center - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics/crm/bb467596.
