I'm trying to get sonar to work on OpenShift. When i try to use environment variables in the sonar.properties file they are not resolved by sonar.
The results look something like:
2013.06.18 17:22:19 INFO o.s.c.p.Database Create JDBC datasource for jdbc:mysql://${env:OPENSHIFT_MYSQL_IP}:${env:OPENSHIFT_MYSQL_PORT}/sonar?useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=utf8&rewriteBatchedStatements=true

I'm trying to understand how the variable resolution in sonar works so i can begin to figure out what is wrong on OpenShift.
I was able to get Sonar running using git://github.com/wenhao/openshift-sonar.git with a slight modification:
deleted the default jbossews sample app (git rm -r pom.xml src/ webapps/ROOT.war
only copied over the ROOT/ , sonar-3.3.1/ , and .openshift/action_hooks/pre_start_jbossews-1.0 from the repo
renamed pre_start_jbossews-1.0 to pre_start_jbossews (due to changes in v2 cartridge renaming)
modified ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/sonar-war.properties:
#SONAR_HOME=${env:OPENSHIFT_REPO_DIR}/webapps/sonar-3.3.1
SONAR_HOME=/var/lib/openshift/51c0c3c1e0b8cd74800000dc/app-root/repo/webapps/sonar-3.3.1
git add .
git commit/push
I'm not quite sure why ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/sonar-war.properties doesn't resolve the env variable, but sonar-3.3.1/conf/sonar.properties resolves them just fine:
sonar.jdbc.username: ${env:OPENSHIFT_MYSQL_DB_USERNAME}
sonar.jdbc.password: ${env:OPENSHIFT_MYSQL_DB_PASSWORD}

Whenever I run JMeter at the Windows command line, I get this error message. Everything runs fine, but the error message is distracting. Can I do something to get rid of it? I'm using JMeter 5.1.1 r1855137.

Most probably you're experiencing the consequence of JMeter enhancement 60589 which was introduced in JMeter 3.2, it seems that you have an outdated version of the JMeter Plugins Manager somewhere in JMeter Classpath.
Remove previous version(s) of the JMeter Plugins Manager from "lib/ext" folder of your JMeter installation (same for the plugins, if any). A better idea would be getting a "clean" copy of JMeter from JMeter Downloads page)
Obtain a new version of the JMeter Plugins Manager and drop it to /lib/ext folder of your JMeter installation
Restart JMeter - at this stage you should not see any logging-related errors
Install the plugins you need using the Plugins Manager.
I'm using TFVC plugin with my Android Studio and I'm trying to commit my changes but it's returning the following error:
I checked my TF executable path and it's returning a valid TF executable found.
I'm able to update directory using TFVC but I'm not able to commit changes.
EDIT:
I'm able to update my local repo from the remote repo. Also, I was able to create a new branch, but I'm not able to checkin any code.
I even tried to completely delete my workspace and project locally, then I re-cloned the project from remote repo.
Still not working.
EDIT2:
I tried signing out and signing in from VS team services by going to Android Studio--> VCS--> Checkout from version control--> Team Services TFVC.
I was able to sign back, but I got prompted with an Plugin Error saying:
10:20 AM Plugin Error: Visual Studio Team Services threw an uncaught TeamServicesException. Disable Plugin
Clicked on it for more details, and I got the following Dialog:

Not sure if that is related, but I wanted to add it in there.
Please check if the issue occurs with different user accounts, also check on other client machines.
Besides, make sure you have set the correct permission for the user account on TFS, you need the Check in permission at least.
UPDATE:
That's just a sample for you. Not the Contributors group, just check the permission of the user account which you used. Besides, according to the log you post, seems it's an issue with the Authentication of the plugin.
Refer to jchharris's reply in this similar thread: https://github.com/Microsoft/vso-intellij/issues/107 , Just try to change the plugin to use Device Flow for the Authentication Method.
The plugin seems to access git through https therefore you might need to set the https proxy for git with the below command
git config --global http.proxy your-prox-server:port
I've installed Oracle Instant Client 64 bits, when connecting with SchemaSpy I get the error message below.
PLEASE NOTE: Both these files exist
C:\app\instantclient_12_1\ojdbc6.jar
C:\app\instantclient_12_1\ocijdbc12.dll
And "C:\app\instantclient_12_1\" is in the PATH.
I've tried C:\app\instantclient_12_1\ojdbc7.jar as well, same result.
Windows 7 64 bits.
Would greatly appreciate any help from anyone who got this to work correctly.

Here's how to run SchemaSpy 6 against an Oracle database:
Dependecies
Make sure you have the following available on your machine:
The lastest version from schemaspy.org, the following will describe the process for schemaspy-6.0.0-rc1.
The Oracle JDBC thin driver, otherwise you'll have to mess around with Oracle OCI. You can get it from Oracle Database 12.1.0.2 JDBC Driver & UCP Downloads
SchemaSpy uses GraphViz to generate the diagrams, get it from graphviz.org. You'll need to update you PATH variable, add C:\Program Files (x86)\Graphviz2.38\bin to it (make sure the version fits the one you downloaded).
Database Type
Note, SchemaSpy supports Oracle OCI (-t ora) and Oracle Thin (-t orathin) as database types. To get the list of available database types:
java -jar schemaspy-6.0.0-rc1.jar -dbhelp
Configuration
You can put most configuration parameters into a file called schemaspy.properties, put this file into the same directory as schemaspy-6.0.0-rc1.jar.
Example schemaspy.properties:
# type of database. Run with -dbhelp for details
schemaspy.t=orathin
# path to the dowloaded oracle jdbc drivers, for example
schemaspy.dp=C:\tools\dbdoc\drivers\ojdbc7.jar
# database properties: host, port number, name user, password
schemaspy.host=[orcale database host]
schemaspy.port=[orcale database port, usualy 1521]
schemaspy.db=[database name or SID]
schemaspy.u=[username]
schemaspy.p=[password, for complexer ones, put it in quotation marks]
# output dir to save generated files
schemaspy.o=C:\tools\dbdoc\output
# db scheme for which generate diagrams
schemaspy.s=[scheme name]
Generate documentation
With the configuration in place, now all you have to do is run:
java -jar schemaspy-6.0.0-rc1.jar
Following an install of Eclipse 3.7.2 on my Ubuntu 12.04 development machine, I have been unable to execute any ODI packages/interfaces/procedures. On execution (for both simulated and actual runs), an error is thrown (java trace below). I am not sure if it's anything to do with the Eclipse install, but it seems likely. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
Also, when launching ODI from the terminal using 'bash odi', the following error is displayed in the terminal:

After digging around for about a day on this issue, I brazenly tried running ODI as the root user on the off chance that this was a permissions issue. I started ODI from the command line (using 'bash odi') for greater verbosity, and it loaded without the error mentioned above. Something gave me the impression that this wasn't a permissions issue, but one related to the user settings.
To rectify the issue, I removed my user's odi settings folder (renaming it, for safety):
mv ~/.odi ~/.backup_odi
Then I started ODI from the terminal under my own user (i.e. not root) - there were no errors! None of my connections were available in the new settings folder though. This I fixed by closing ODI and entering the following:
cp ~/.backup_odi/oracledi/snps_login_work.xml ~/.odi/oracledi/
If anybody else encounters this issue, I hope you find this post quicker than it took me to fix it!

This instance has existing db connection management exposed through JNDI.
Oracle_home is set to the directory where I unzip the OC4J zip file. c:\oc4j_10.1.3.3.
ojms.rar file is in %ORACLE_HOME%\j2ee\home\connectors
Configuring OC4J for JMS with Database Persistence
I've create a new data connection for Oracle AQ and exposed the connection through JNDI as jms/flexc
When creating the Resource Adapter through EM, I'm providing the following information:
Resource Name: JMS on FlexC
Adding a new resource
Name : jmsFlexc
Datasource JNDI : jms/flexc (selected from dropdown box)
Very quickly, I get the error below:
An error has occurred.
connectors\ojms.rar (The system cannot find the path specified)

Discovered that this is a bug in OC4J.
The solution was found by a colleague as a comment made to this blog
I also got an error when deploying the
resource adapter. I found that this
was a bug in Oracle Standalone
10.1.3.3.0 (bug 6786060 on Metalink) and can be solved either by using
10.1.3.2.0 or by starting Oracle standalone without the ORACLE_HOME
environment variable. This is made by
the command "java -jar oc4j.jar". I
used the last solution and it worked
fine for me.
