i have 2 tables: "User" and "States". What i pretend to do, is to count how many users are from certain state, ie:
state total users
santa fe 5
buenos aires 20
and so on.
I'm using codeigniter with doctrine, here's my code:
public function countByState(){
$this->qb = $this->em->createQueryBuilder();
$this->qb->select('s.state_id', $this->qb->expr()->count('u.state'))
->from('models\States', 's')
->leftJoin('s.state_id' , 'u')
->leftJoin('models\User', 'u')
->groupBy('s.state_id');
$query = $this->qb->getQuery();
$obj = $query->getResult();
return $obj;
}
and this is the error:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Doctrine\ORM\Query\QueryException' with message '[Semantical Error] line 0, col 76 near 'u LEFT JOIN models\User': Error: Class models\States has no association named state_id' in C:\Desarrollo\new_frame_doctrine\site\application\libraries\data\Doctrine\ORM\Query\QueryException.php on line 47
Please use this sql query
SELECT s.name,count(*) FROM `users` u left join `state` s on u.stateid=s.id
group by s.id;
In the code please change accordingly!!
I tried this by creating two tables named state (with fields id and name)
and users(with fields id, name and state_id), It worked fine for me.
Cheers!!!

I have a customer class and a pet class which has a many to many relationship. There is a pivot table customer_pet. Both the customers table and the pets table have a team_id.
When I write the following code:
$results = auth()->user()->team->customers();
$results->leftJoin('customer_pet', 'customer_pet.customer_id', '=', 'customers.id');
$results->leftJoin('pets', 'pets.id', '=', 'customer_pet.pet_id');
return $results->get()->load('pets');
I get this error:
SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1052 Column 'team_id' in where clause is ambiguous (SQL: select * from `customers` left join `customer_pet` on `customer_pet`.`customer_id` = `customers`.`id` left join `pets` on `pets`.`id` = `customer_pet`.`pet_id` where `customers`.`team_id` = 2 and `customers`.`team_id` is not null and `customers`.`deleted_at` is null and `team_id` = 2
I tried making the relation in the Customer model look like this:
public function team()
{
return $this->belongsTo(Team::class, 'customers.team_id', 'teams.id');
}
but I get the same result. I am missing something obvious but I am not sure what?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
select * from `customers` left join `customer_pet` on `customer_pet`.`customer_id` = `customers`.`id` left join `pets` on `pets`.`id` = `customer_pet`.`pet_id` where `customers`.`team_id` = 2 and `customers`.`team_id` is not null and `customers`.`deleted_at` is null and `team_id` = 2
The query in the exception shows that there is a team_id = 2 at the end. It seems that you're adding a $query->where('team_id', 2) without qualification somewhere in your code.
You can use $query->qualifyColumn($column) to prepend the table name automatically.
I have 3 table
1- planes = name, description
2- presidents = id , p_name
3- plane_president = plane_id , president_id
how to join planes with presidents and plane_president?
$planes = Plane::join('plane_president', 'planes.id', '=', 'plane_president.plane_id')
->join('presidents', 'presidents.id', '=', 'plane_president.president_id');
error:
SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1052 Column 'id' in order clause is ambiguous (SQL: select * from `planes` inner join `plane_president` on `planes`.`id` = `plane_president`.`plane_id` inner join `presidents` on `presidents`.`id` = `plane_president`.`president_id` order by `id` asc limit 10 offset 0)
plane_president is a pivot table for president and planes, you can declare the relationship at the Plane.php model:
public function presidents()
{
return $this->belongsToMany(
President::class,
'plane_president',
'plane_id',
'president_id');
}
and use it like:
plane->presidents;
when you want to retrieve the presidents for a particular plane in a controller.
You have 2 columns named id as the error says it is ambiguous.
order by id asc limit 10 offset 0 here you aren't specifying by which column to order planes.id or presidents.id
everybody!
What should I do if I need to make select from junction table?
For example, I develop project and I need to make chats between users. I have two entities: User and Chat, and many-to-many relation between them (accordingly, I have three tables: user, chat, chat_user). I try to get all chats, which user is member, and to get all users from these chats.
I made the following SQL query:
SELECT *
FROM chat c
INNER JOIN chat_user cu ON c.id = cu.chat_id
INNER JOIN user u ON u.id = cu.user_id
WHERE c.id IN (SELECT chat_id
FROM chat_user
WHERE user_id = <idUser>);
But I don't know how to translate in DQL subquery SELECT chat_id FROM chat_user WHERE user_id = <idUser>, because a haven't additional entity for table chat_user.
And I tried to add entity ChatUser and get data in ChatRepository smt. like this:
public function getChatsData($idUser)
{
$subQuery = $this->getEntityManager()
->getRepository(ChatUser::class)
->createQueryBuilder('chus')
->select('chus.chat')
->andWhere('chus.user = :idUser')
->setParameter('idUser', $idUser)
;
$qb = $this->createQueryBuilder('c');
return $qb
->innerJoin('c.chatUsers', 'cu')
->addSelect('cu')
->innerJoin('cu.user', 'u')
->addSelect('u')
->innerJoin('c.messages', 'm')
->addSelect('m')
->andWhere('u.id = :idUser')
->andWhere($qb->expr()->in(
'c.id',
$subQuery->getDQL()
))
->setParameter('idUser', $idUser)
->getQuery()
->getResult()
;
}
but it doesn't work. I get error [Semantical Error] line 0, col 12 near 'chat FROM App\Entity\ChatUser': Error: Invalid PathExpression. Must be a StateFieldPathExpression.
Have Doctrine standard tools for such tasks?
`$data['top_argo'] = \DB::select( \DB::raw('select DISTINCT SUM(transaction.total) as total_argo, COUNT(transaction.id) as total_trans, users.name FROM transaction LEFT JOIN CUSTOMER ON customer.id = transaction.id_driver_fk LEFT JOIN users ON users.id = customer.id_user_fk WHERE id_customer_fk IS NOT NULL AND transaction.status = 'F' GROUP B`Y users.name ORDER BY SUM (transaction.total) DESC LIMIT 10'));
I need to run this query on my laravel, but I got an error like I said on the title. I'm new to laravel so can you help me?
Your query has lots of syntax errors. Don`t use double quotes without binding it a string.
data['top_argo'] = \DB::select( \DB::raw("select DISTINCT SUM(transaction.total)
as total_argo, COUNT(transaction.id) as total_trans, users.name FROM transaction
LEFT JOIN CUSTOMER ON customer.id = transaction.id_driver_fk
LEFT JOIN users ON users.id = customer.id_user_fk
WHERE id_customer_fk IS NOT NULL AND transaction.status = 'F' GROUP BY users.name ORDER BY SUM (transaction.total) DESC LIMIT 10"));
To fix the exception replace 'F' with \'F\'
Ok so the big deal is to get the rows in a mysql table that have another related row in the same table given some conditions. This table is like an activity log, so i want to notify someone that "some guy" leaved his group, but i only want do the notification when that guy joined the group before a given date, so what i do is the next sql:
SELECT ua.*, ua2.*
FROM user_activities AS ua
INNER JOIN (SELECT ua2.* FROM user_activities AS ua2
WHERE ua2.activity = "join-group"
ORDER BY ua2.created_at)
AS ua2 ON ua2.group_name = ua.group_name AND ua2.user_id = ua.user_id
WHERE ua.activity = "unjoin-group";
I omitted the date conditions due to clarity reasons.
So i need to know how to convert this to DQL (for doctrine 1.2), is it possible? or I better do it programatically?
What im trying now is this:
$q = Doctrine_Query::create()
->from('UserActivity ua, ua.User u ')
->where('ua.created_at > ?', $min_date)
->andWhere('ua.activity = ?', "unjoin-group")
->andWhereIn('u.status', array(STATUS_HOT, STATUS_ACTIVE))
->andWhere('ua.user_id IN ( SELECT
uaa.id
FROM
UserActivity uaa
WHERE
uaa.activity = ? AND
uaa.created_at < ? AND
uaa.created_at > ? AND
uaa.group_name = ua.group_name
LIMIT 1',
array("join-group", $min_date, $max_date));
But i get this error:
fatal error maximum function nesting level of '100' reached aborting
So i can't keep foward
