Publish Excel sheet to SharePoint with linked images - image

I have an Excel workbook with a bunch of Sheets, that I would like to publish to different SharePoint sub-sites within a sites hierarchy.
I have written a VBA procedure that does that, but unfortunately it does not work correctly, because the sheets have images and Excel tries to copy them by creating the "*_files" structure, which I DO NOT WANT! The images are already on the server, and I would only need Excel to use their URLs and everything would by fine with just creating the plain HTML without any "*_files" folder.
If I keep it like that, Excel tries to generate the PNGs for the files but failes for some reason and they come out 0B long. It works fine for local paths or even different server paths, so I don't know the reason.
Anyone has an idea?
EDIT:
It seems that setting ActiveWorkbook.WebOptions.OrganizeInFolder = False solves ar least the problem with displaying the images. Excel keeps copying the images, generating useless clutter, but at least the rendering is ok...
Do also remember to set ActiveWorkbook.WebOptions.RelyOnVML= False, otherwise the page will not work outside IE.

Issue uploading specific PDF documents within my Laravel CRM application

I was hoping someone could shine some light on a strange issue I have stumbled across recently within my Laravel CRM application. I am using MultiCRM + Laravel BAP to operate a small CRM system on my server.
The issue I am experiencing is that when I upload "specific" PDF documents through the CRM's AJAX file uploader, the file uploads and reaches the 100% stage and thereafter the following error is being returned:
Unprocessable Entity
I have reviewed the error status/message within the Network tab of my Developer Console and I am seeing the following error:
The given data was invalid - The files must be a type of Jpg, jpeg,
png, pdf, txt, doc, docx
Some PDF's I can upload perfectly fine whereas other PDF's seem to be failing. I have checked the Properties of the file which I am attempting to upload and I can confirm that the file extension resembles the exact same of the PDF files which are uploading perfectly fine.
I have also reviewed the max_upload_size and post_max_size within my php.ini and I can confirm the values set in there are fine. I have tried to upload larger zip files 20mb+ to rule out any file upload size limits, and I can confirm that the zip files in question uploaded and saved perfectly fine.
I am just a little confused with why certain PDF files will upload and others won't.
If there any particular files which you should need to see, please let me know and i would be happy to provide the source code :-)

Broken image after exporting Datastudio into pdf

We are using a combination of supermetrics, google sheets and datastudio for reporting social media content results. Supermetrics provide us with "Post image URL", for example this one: imageURL. The next step us using image+importrange function in different spreadsheet:
=IMAGE(IMPORTRANGE("XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX","'XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX'!O2")).
This loads an image usually without any problem (apart from sometimes when the image simply doesn't load, god knows why):
Final step is using "Publish to the web" function in spreadsheets and then URL embed function in Datastudio - result is okay with pictures fully loading, however after exporting the data studio report into pdf (only way to download it), the images appear broken. All spreadsheets have sufficient rights and this is happening even if the base spreadsheet is set as public (+ results numbers are okay even in the pdf, so this should be the reason).
Okay so I have no idea why, when or how, but exporting to pdf works with images included today.

How to get full image paths from web page using Firebug?

I would like to download all images in full quality from this blog: http://w899c8kcu.homepage.t-online.de/Blog.
I have access to server, but I can not find the directory where the images lie. When I use Firebug on the first picture, it shows me http://w899c8kcu.homepage.t-online.de/Blog;session=f0577255d9df9185d3abe04af0ce922d&focus=CMTOI_de_dtag_hosting_hpcreator_widget_PictureGallery_15716702&path=image.action&frame=CMTOI_de_dtag_hosting_hpcreator_widget_PictureGallery_15716702?id=34877331&width=1000&height=2000&crop=false.
How can I find the file paths like /dirname/image.jpg?
According to its HTML output the page obviously uses the CM4all content management system (CMS).
I don't know how precisely this CMS is working, though generally CMSs normally either save the files under cryptic names within a folder specified in the CMS's configuration or not in the file system at all but within a database.
Also, CMS may only save compressed or resized versions of the original files.
So, if you don't want to or are not able to dig into the server-side script code to find out if and where the images are saved, you should contact the company behind CM4all about this.

Delphi - Want an automated way of maintaining the link between a "source" image file and images in my project

One thing I find Delphi doesn't manage well is the link between image "source" files and the image components in my project (D2006 here but I'm assuming it applies to all versions).
Say I have various static images in my project - backgrounds, toolbar button glyphs, various bits of eye candy, etc. I have a corresponding collection of PNG/BMP etc. files that I have sourced, scraped or created, and these have been loaded into the image components at design time.
One problem is that there seems to be no automated way of finding out three months later what source image file was used to load an image component. This becomes more of an issue when you need to edit one or more images.
So what I would really like, is some way of including the image source files in a build of a project. I.e. when I did a build, all of the image components would be reloaded from the sources first. At present, when I modify some of my images with PhotoShop or similar, I'm faced with a lengthy and error-prone process to reload the altered images into their respective image containers.
Is creating a resource with all of the images bound into it and adding code to load the image components at startup a viable way to go? Do others have this problem, and how do you manage it?
None of the standard components support what you are asking for. However, Thany's TPngImageList component does support the ability to associate a user-defined string with each image in the list.
Otherwise, to know which file belongs with which image, I would suggest using an .rc file to compile the external image files into the app's resources at compile-time, and then you can load the image resources into your components dynamically at run-time instead of at design-time. That way, you can manage the image files however you want. When you change a file, it will automatically be linked into the app on the next compile.
You might load the same images in runtime, and add these images in version control to ease maintenance. There are also command line tools for Lazarus (I guess you might find similar for Delphi too) which can put files into resources that you app can later use.
I load the images from ico files, populate a imagelist and then use it in my Virtual string tree for various nodes. Easy to change the ico files.

How to use the existing Png-Shell-Thumbnail for my file types?

I am currently writing an application working with specially prepared image data. Another tool prepares the images (basically PNGs with additional data stored in the meta-data section). Now my tool works with these files, but not with all PNGs, so "we" decided to use a different file extension. So far, so good.
Now, because I am a lazy sack I implemented some file type registration to allow double-clicking on the file and opening it in my application (no problem at all).
And here is my Question:
It would be cool if the windows explorer could still show me the thumbnail previews for my files. Since they basically are still PNG files, it should be possible without writing my own shell extension (at least I believe so).
I quickly tried to copy all registry keys and values from HKCR.png to HKCR.mInDat (my file name ext) and it worked. However, I would prefere knowning what I am doing ;-)
Which of the registry settings are responsible for the thumbnail preview control and which can I use to get the preview for my file types?
I tried to google it, but I failed, since it seems I am unable to come up with the right buzz-words to find the info I need. Please, help me.
Thank you!
Yours,
