I am basically executing the following luna-send command and trying to get those parameters from applicationManager:

After executing this command, my app gets launched by applicationManager, but I don't know how to get those params in my app. I am using enyo 2.0. I was trying to use onWindowsParamsChange handler, but ApplicationEvents is deprecated for 2.0. Can anyone help me with this?

Under Enyo 1.0 it was enyo.windowParams. Under Enyo 2.0 I believe this functionality is gone. These parameters may be available through Cordova, but I'm not positive right now as I don't have the source handy. In any case, this was loaded from PalmSystem.launchParams so you should be able to access that.
If you're handling relaunch then you'll have a little more work to do. I think you'll need to define a Mojo.relaunch on the window object to detect when the launch parameters change.

I'm trying to modify the behaviour of the NewIssuesEmailTemplate in SonarQube 4.0. I want to put richer information into the generated emails. It looks as if everything I need is put in the Notification by IssueNotifications.
What I want to know is if it's possible to override the fact that NewIssuesEmailTemplate is the handler for Notifications of type "new-issues".
I'm going to hazard that this can be done by creating a new plugin that overrides the specific behaviour of CorePlugin, and making sure that this gets loaded first, but I don't really know how to go about it.
Has anyone done anything like this before? I don't seem to be able to find any hints to get me started.
You cannot change the fact that NewIssuesEmailTemplate is the handler for notifications of type "new-issues".
All you can do is to add new channels or dispatchers using the extensions available in the notification API. You can check how this is done by the Core Email plugin.
I have just started working with MVVMCross for a cross platform app and I am having a hard time figuring out how to test my ViewModels. I tried following the testing done in TwitterSearch and ran into problems. Specifically in the MockSetup.cs I found that in the latest version of MvvmCross there no longer seems to be a IMvxViewDispatcherProvider but that is ok because I think its functionality has been rolled up into the IMvxViewDispatcher. However, when actually setting up the dipatcher for my test cases there is no RequestNavigate method for the dispatcher anymore and I can not find an implementation of MvxShowViewModelRequest. So I can not actually get any tests for my ViewModels to work.
I also tried to follow the testing here http://slodge.blogspot.com/2012/10/testing-viewmodels-in-mvvmcross.html but again ran into issues with missing MvxOpenNetCfServiceProviderSetup.
So in summary, my issue has been getting a MockSetup working so that I can test my ViewModels. If I could just be pointed in the right direction on the dispatcher, I think that would help.

I'm putting together a desktop application in TideSDK and am having some trouble finding the parameters passed to the application via a custom launch URL.
The application launches when the appropriate protocol is invoked (call it aaa://), but I haven't been able to figure out how to grab the URL string. I read a couple of threads that suggested I could get the string with the Ti.API.application.getArguments() call, but it returns something odd (see below).

I'm not completely surprised that this doesn't seem to work, as the API documentation says the getArguments method returns a list of command line arguments.

It doesn't appear that there's currently an "official" way to do this, so I came up with my own solution that seems to work pretty well (though currently its only implemented for OSX).
Searching through the TideSDK source, I found the place where the native application delegate is created. I added a URL launch handler in the app delegate, which stores the launch URL in a new app delegate member, and connected it to the API with a binding in Ti.UI.
If anybody else is interested in this functionality, or have insights as to how to accomplish this task for Windows, please get in touch!

my url protocol is set by this : MSDN
thus the value in "Command" is
"C:\YOUR_APP_FOLDER\YOURAPP.exe" "%1"
tested on win7 and winxp,
both successfully get the arguments.

I'm getting used to CakePHP right now and am wondering about how to get more debug-information about what is happening inside the framework.
Let me please explain my situation a little more detailed
As you know CakePHP does a lot for you without putting you into the need to write additional code. One example is the handling of models.
I just created a model User and added validation-rules (no other methods). As described in the API methods like save will just work.
After that I created the needed controller and view to add a new user. When I try to add a user from the view I just receive the flash-message The user could not be created. Please, try again. No validation-violations are flashed.
I also did set the debug-level to 2: Configure::write('debug', 2); but do not receive any errors. The error.log inside \tmp\logs is also empty.
I really do want to learn how to solve those issues in the future.
So what else can I do to debug / display inner processes of cake?

Use a PHP IDE with an integrated debugger. That will allow you to follow execution line by line as it is executed and even inspect variable values as you go. Netbeans is a free one.
I've already read posts like Passing PHP arguments into NetBeans into a page that features symfony url-routing
but I cannot make things work.
I would like to run the following page:
http://localhost/s/web/frontend_dev.php/travel
So I tried first the "Local Website Configuration" with Netbeans 6.9.1. As stated in the linked thread there is an issue here since I can point to the project url and to the "web/frontend_dev.php" index file but I am not able to have "/travel" as an argument since Netbeans always prefixes it with ? for parameter passing which I don't want.
I the mentioned thread the solution is supposed to be using the Script Config option. Fine
I can point to php.exe and I can point to the index file again at web/frontend_dev.php but although I can pass arguments like /travel there it still does not work since it creates a whitespace in the call:
php.exe ./web/frontend_dev.php /travel
which does not work either.
It is easier to use the following:
Set the Debug URL to "Do not open Webbrowser" (Project->Properties->Run Configuration->Advanced)
Start the debugging session with Netbeans (Netbeans doesn't start a browser but waits for a XDebug connection)
Use the easy XDebug-Firefox-Plugin to start XDebug for you Symfony App (easy XDebug)

As far as I undersand you, this is a std-situation when there is no 101-path-mapping from file-path to URL-path.
In Eclipse you can either define a completely new path-mapping or make Eclipse request a certain URL-path. In your case you would just define localhost as your server and '/s/web/frontend_dev.php/travel' as the path to attach.
I'm pretty sure there is a similar option in NetBeans as this is in times of mod-rewrite and Zend FW a very common situation.
