Showing an autohidden panel only when the mouse is in a corner - panel

I recently installed xubuntu and I'm trying to get one of my panel that I have on autohide to only show when my mouse is in the bottom left corner instead of whenever my mouse is on the left side. Is this possible to do?

Disable the Xcode utilities panel auto-display feature

How do I disable the Xcode auto-display feature of the utilities panel (aka the far right pane that holds the identity inspector etc)?
In full screen mode (coding, not just in the storyboard) whenever my mouse curser gets moved all the way to the right of the screen, the utilities panel displays automatically. It is distracting and unwanted. If I need that panel I can click the button in the upper right to display it, or use a keyboard shortcut. It doesn't seem like anything else is autodisplaying, just the right side panel. Once I move the mouse away from it, the panel disappears again. Maddening I tell you.

How to show view controls in the new update of Xcode 12?

I have updated xcode to the latest version ( Version 12.0 (12A7209)) and I can't show the toggle icons that show/hide inspector, debug or navigator Area
How can I show them again?
For the navigator the button is now at the far left, or use Command 0.
For the inspector the button is now at the far right, or use Command Option 0.
Also, in full screen mode you can summon the inspectors as overlays by hovering at the side with the mouse. Very cool as it saves space.
For the debug area there is no button; use Shift Command Y.
Basically this is a good time to learn the keyboard shortcuts!

ComboBox direction control

I want to see if i can set the direction that the combo boxes will pop up when the user clicks on them. I am developing this for WEC7 Platform Builder project with Silverlight for Embedded Application project.
My main issue is, i have some combo box elements towards the bottom of my screen due to content density on the screen. As a result, when i click on the combo box, it will first open facing up. However, when selecting it again, it will face down. This causes the combo box scroll bar to become so little that you cannot actually scroll and are forced to click the up and down arrow buttons.
Can i set the direction that the combo box will open?
Thanks,

How can I add back server explorer and data sources and toolbox (especially toolbox) to the far left menu, in Visual Studio?

I am having difficulty docking toolbox with server explorer and data sources, in visual studio
If I do window..reset window layout, I get the toolbox where I want it. The reset position. With server explorer and data sources
But when I click toolbox on the far left, and it appears, and I drag it a bit, the toolbox option disappears from the far left and I can't get it back without doing window..reset
And I have the same problem with server explorer and data sources.
If I click them and drag the window, I can't the option back, and in fact I completely lose the menu on the far left
I have tried dragging toolbox around and different places appear for it to rest, but I can't make it go somewhere such that an option appears in the far left again, without having to do window..reset window layout.
To elaborate..
I can drag the toolbox and so that the far left arrow gets highlighted, and then release, but then it still doesn't appear as text in the far left
^^ See in the above pictures I don't get
toolbox appearing
or to show a fuller view
Drag that window to the left or right side you will get the mark where you want to place it. than leave that window your window will be docked there.
EDITED:
Windows should be Dockable and after placing the window at your position you can unpin that window so, it can be collapsed when the mouse leave.

pygtk minimizing and maximizing window

I'm using pygtk and once I minimize window (iconyfy it) window manager uses its animation to do that. Before i minimize it (user can't do that;no minimize button, just from code) it is on right hand size of desktop. Now when user clicks on tackbar icon wm shows up window, but it's not on right hand side, it goes to the center of the screen. Is there a way to remove this behavior? I'm using ubuntu 12.04.
