i want to write rtf formatted text to word file from database by visual studio?
i am using BLOB for storing rtf data in database, in which rtf data is stored in encoded form.
i have already stored rtf data in database in encoded form taken from richtextbox, and now while writing into word file it is not converting into actual format of string.
but i have to write actual rtf string (not encoded string) in word file,
i tried but it will print encoded rtf string in word file.
how can i resolve this problem.

I've created an ADF pipeline that converts a delimited file to parquet in our datalake. I've added an additional column and set the value using the following expression #convertfromutc(utcnow(),'GMT Standard Time','o'). The problem I am having is when I look at the parquet file it is coming back in the US format.

Even if I use #if(pipeline().parameters.LoadDate,json(concat('[{"name": "LoadDate" , "value": "',formatDateTime(convertfromutc(utcnow(),'GMT Standard Time','o')),'"}]')),NULL) to try to force the format on the extra column it still comes back in the parquet in the US format.
Any idea why this would be and how I can get this to output into parquet as a proper timestamp?
Mention the format pattern while using convertFromUtc function as shown below.
#convertFromUtc(utcnow(),’GMT Standard Time’,’yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss’)

I would like to use GET DATA to open my data. Then read a string from a text file. The string would be a date (eg. "2017-09-02 13:24") which I would use in filtering the data set before saving as .sav.
Is this possible? Or any other suggestion on how to import external information to use while processing the data set?
With ADD FilE I know its possible to open up two different data sets. However, I have to use GET DATA.

The images and all attachments are stored in raw binary format. The files are stored in the Data field, of type varbinary(max), which is in the UploadFileRevision table.
Base 64 is not a file format, but rather a way to encode binary data in a string format. More information on Base 64 as well as a sample implementation in Java (should work almost unmodified in C#) is available at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base64
My data is in the format of csv file (sam,1,34,there,hello). I want to add an image to each row in the csv file using hadoop. Does any body have any idea about it. I have seen about Hipi which process the image files and adds it also. But I want to add as a column to csv file.
If you have to use CSV file, consider using Base64 encoding over binary image data - it will give you a printable string. But in general I would recommend you to switch to sequence file, there you would be able to store the image directly in a binary format
I'm working with a database-driven application that allows users to upload images which are then zipped and embedded into a database in a varbinary(max) format. I am now trying to get that image to display within an SSRS report (using BI 2005).
How can I convert the file data (which is 65,438 characters long when zipped and 65,535 characters when not zipped) into a normal varbinary format that I can then display in SSRS?

You'll have to embed a reference to a dll in your project and use a function to decompress the data within SSRS, see for example SharpZipLib. Consider storing the data uncompressed if possible, as the CPU / space trade off is unlikely to be in your favour here, as impage data is likely to have a poor compression ratio (it is usually already compressed).
