I have some how lost my Security Logs prior to today 01:57:11 pm. The file size I had assigned to Security Logs was 160MB. Today (maybe due to virus) I have 273,692 new logs in just few hours so all previous logs are lost. The policy I set was to overwrite oldest logs if file size exceeded. I saved them as csv file and the .csv file size is about 150MB. and the logs count upto 273694
In C:\Windows\System32\winevt\Logs Security has 160MB.
I have attached the picture for reference. All I need is: Logon logs on this computer from 12 hours prior to the last Security event log time.
Can anyone help me how to resolve this problem.

I checked the logon Group Policy event logs. From that i was able to see missing users on whom the logon group policy was applied to.

I have created an Oracle cloud free always Autonomous Database.
When I'm logging into Oracle cloud apex, the following error is being raised:
ORDS was unable to make a connection to the database. This can occur if the database is unavailable, the maximum number of sessions has been reached or the pool is not correctly configured.
The connection pool named: |ocid1.tenancy.oc1..aaaaaaaatqnhiz7jytt44dhoe4g2c4pdkn5h45ujjxdmddt3dvm5sy5ad6tq-db201912301417|re| had the following error(s): Exception occurred while getting connection: oracle.ucp.UniversalConnectionPoolException: Cannot get Connection from Datasource: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
I can't tell for sure, but - it looks like an issue I had the other day where Apex wasn't working properly. I could log in, but everything acted very strange.
Googling around, it turned out that previous similar problems were caused by some server being shut down, and problems persisted until someone (DBA?) started it up.
Or, you might have hit the scheduled maintenance where database was really shut down.
If I were you, I'd wait a little bit (e.g. until tomorrow morning) and try again. If it still doesn't work, contact Oracle.

Outlook 2013/2016 successfully send e-mail, but it is not delivered [closed]

In my firm there are 5 PCs' Windows 10 updated and with Outlook 2013/2016 updated that successfully send e-mail (that is what Outlook shows), but they are not delivered to addresses that are not in their domain (See Example1). But it works as aspected in one PC, although it has the same network and e-mail configuration as the others. The e-mail is successfully sent if I use the brownser version of the email.
Exemple1: our e-mail domain is X, we successfuly send an email to an email in the domain X, but if we try to sendo to domain gmail.com it is not delivered, although Outlook says it was sent successfuly.

I deleted and created again the e-mail account on Outlook, then it worked. Let's hope it doesn't happen again. I'll not post as finished because I'll test for a month and if it still works I'll finish this post.

I want to point my custom domain to heroku.
My provider uses cPanel.
I have followed the instructions here.

And added this to my DNS Zone Editor
www.my-site.com. 14400 IN CNAME my-app.herokuapp.com
however it's been a day and my app still doesn't point to heroku.
It might be because there are several other records in the DNS
currently these are the records in my DNS.
I'm wondering what's wrong with my setup.
Do I have to remove the A record pointing to the IP address of the old server?

FIX: I fixed the problem by removing the A record pointing to the old server. Then it now points to my herokuapp. I tried to put the old A record back on and it still works now (don't know why) maybe it's a conflict on the provider's side

There is Windows Server 2003 machine which has many users to access. Each of them want to configure their own hosts file to redirect a hostname to certain IP address. (They are virtual machines with same hostname and different IP addresses owned by each user.)
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Also, we cannot simply ask users to use IP address to connect because the hostname is configured and need to be used in an application. Can we have this user specific hosts file configured or any workaround?
technically this is not possible...a simple programmatic work around could be to write a script and at user logon replace the file with whatever values you want.
since most of the changes in the hosts file are read at runtime, you should be able to achieve the result you are expecting

Just like the question says. I have deployed a site to AppHarbor, and then I updated the DNS A record for a domain name to point at the IP given on the 'Hostnames' page. The DNS hasn't updated properly yet so can't see if it's worked.
Has anyone else done this and had it work?
It will work with a free account until the 1st of March (although I am not sure if you can add them now). Then you will have to have payment information as it will cost $10 a month.
Another option is to somehow forward the web request to the *.apphb.com address.
I have some free (Canoe) applications there and the DNS worked fine for the hostnames. Although I am not at the point to really need them enough to pay for them, so I removed them and haven't tried re-adding a hostname to see if it will require payment information.
