phpfox: change new users privacy - phpfox

I want to set friends_only privacy to all new users. I tried User Default Privacy Setting on Registration but does not work!
Any Idea??
Thanx
Regards
Edit:
There is a simple way to let the user change there privacy after Sign-up by direction them to the privacy page. Example ( http://localhost/my_network/index.php?do=/user/privacy/ )

As mentioned in the comment, the setting "Friends Only Community" seems to be what the OP was looking for :) glad I could help

Default Phpfox site is "Friends Only Community" so every profile is private from visitor and Not Friend of the user.
In your case do following thing:
Search "Friends Only Community" setting on AdminCP
Change it to "NO".

Croogo - allows users to add a pictures on a blog site

I am a new user of Croogo. I need to create a website, like a blog, where users can post and add pictures.
But I don't know how can I proceed, the admin can post trough the admin panel but what about users ? Which function should I use ?
I didn't found any tutorial on the web and I don't know how it works.
Thanks you for your help.
Better try to create it in the Vendor/croogo/croogo/Nodes path in the respective controller and view folder. You can start from here. Hope this will help you.

Joomla, registration pages requires login

I am running Joomla! version 1.7. I've set up a registration page in the menu manager, however, when I click the link, it says I need to be logged in to register.
Not sure what I going. Can anyone help please?
Thanks!
Check the access level of that menu link.
It should be public. But you have set something else.
Turns out registration was disabled in the user manager settings.

Default author or category filter for user group

I have a bunch of manager user groups that each have article create/edit/delete permissions for a specific category. But when they login to the backend, all articles from all categories display (altho they are greyed out and not selectable). Is there a way to set a default author or category filter for an individual user or group so they only see articles in the category they're allowed to work in? Or any other way to accomplish this? Thanks in advance
I think Joomla 1.7 has that feature, also you better add a user manager component, that will do the work for you.
Try these plugins these may help you : http://geminorum.ir/joomla/gauthor
