I can find some application at www.windowsphone.com
Can i install a windows phone app in windows 7 pc?
How can i do that?
No you can't install apps from the store to your computer, even if you have Windwos Phone SDK. You will need to use an actual phone.
BUT it is possible to load a windows phone 7 XAP file into the emulator without the solution or source files, (if a developer is sending it, apparently windows store precompile xaps files). In this case you will need WP SDK. Run the XapDeploy.exe application. It should be in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows Phone\v7.1\Tools\XAP
Deployment
Select "Windows Phone Emulator" as the target and select what .xap application you would like to run.

I am unable to find a download for the Windows Driver Kit 8.1 and I need it to do driver builds from VS 2013. Or I need to upgrade my driver project to VS 2017. Any recommendations?
WDK 8.1 https://download.microsoft.com/download/8/6/9/86925F0F-D57A-4BA4-8278-861B6876D78E/wdk/wdksetup.exe
WDK 8.1 Update (via archive.org) http://web.archive.org/web/20200314015621if_/https://download.microsoft.com/download/0/8/C/08C7497F-8551-4054-97DE-60C0E510D97A/wdk/wdksetup.exe
The reason of removal: We removed the Windows 8.1 WDK downloads, because they do not meet our current requirements for downloadable files. They were signed by SHA-1 certificates, and we require SHA-2 certificates. As soon as we can rebuild and test these versions of the WDK, we will replace them.

After watching Microsoft's Build conference, I learnt about Windows Phone 8.1 and decided that I want to download the Windows Phone 8.1 developer preview.
Where can I download the Windows Phone 8.1 developer preview when it becomes available?
Download the app Preview for Developers on your Windows Phone.
Use this app to enable yourself for the Preview for Developers. You must have an Active Windows Phone dev center account or an active app studio account or a dev unlocked phone.
Once Windows Phone 8.1 developer preview gets released, you'll be able to download the update from Settings and update the phone as you normally do.
Hope this helps you.
I would suppose the SDK would be available in normal Windows Phone SDK download site, also there appears to be some 8.1 stuff already available in there.

I'm new to using virtual machines. I'm using Windows 7 Enterprise OS. I have enabled Hyper-v in my machine. When i run the Hyper-v manager and tried to connect my local machine, it shown message as follows
How to resolve this?
Hyper-V isn't available on Windows 7 client SKUs, like Enterprise. It's only available on Windows Server 2008 x64 (some SKUs), Windows Server 2008 R2 (most SKUs), Windows 8 Professional x64, Windows 8 Enterprise x64, and Windows Server 2012 (again, most SKUs).
You've just installed the management tools which allow you to manage a remote instance of Hyper-V.

I downloaded Microsoft Visual 2010 Express for Windows Phone, but now i want to have the Visual C++ in it for my project. How do i do that?
You can't use C++ in Windows Phone 7 projects. You'll have to wait for Windows Phone 8 to be able to use C++.
