but couldnot successfully upgrade from 1.4 to 1.8 version of magento .
could some 1 please help me to succesfully upgrade to 1.8

Would Cobalt provide a stable version to meet FCC requirement?
Cobalt team is actively working on WAI-ARIA support and will open-source it as soon as it is ready. At the moment we cannot provide a specific date but we acknowledge the importance of FCC compliance.

I was trying to install rails and also tried to update gem, but it didn't work out.Tried to google the problem and it says i have older version of ruby which i have to update. I currently have 1.8.6 . Can somebody please help me how to update this version to 1.9?
The best way is to use Ruby Version Manager.
Read the site, there are step-by-step manuals.
I suugest you to go to the terminal and using from rvm.

Cant build luabind. Have downloaded Boost and bjam.exe. Have anybody experience for it under Windows? How i can use this library? Thanks.
