Can the full functionality of the Facebook Graph API be used with HTTP Requests, rather than using any of the SDK's? I've been able to use a GET requests to return public data; I've been able to use a POST request to make a post with an access token retrieved from Facebooks Graph API Explorer, but I'm not sure if Login, getting Access Tokens and determining whether a user has given permissions, is possible without using one of the SDK's? I could spend the next 2 days using trial and error, and reading docs to try to find out, but I'd hate to waste a couple days going down a road to nowhere if someone can just give me the answer now.
Yes, absolutely you can create application for Facebook without using any SDK..
SDK is just a software development kit (SDK or "devkit") it's typically a set of software development tools that allows for the creation of applications for a certain software package,
Facebook SDK made your work much easier because they give you ready made functions to call Facebook API
like PHP sdk ,C# sdk.. etc
If you want to create application without using it .. then you have to request Facebook Graph API directly ..
For e.g you need to get page information using JS SDK ..you need to pass only name/id of the page
in JS SDK

but if you want to go without SDK, then you need to call http://graph.facebook.com/cocacola
now you need to parse JSON then retrieve data based on the language you're working on

I am a beginner trying out api for fun.
The problem is, lets say, I want to write a simple windows program with golang to let my friends read and edit one of the sheets saved on my google drive. How can I do this without having them download a credential file?
What I want it to do is simply redirect them to the Oauth Page right away, and if their email address is one recognized by the app it will grant them access to that google sheet.
What i think you need is to integrate your go app with Oauth protocol.
More specifically, with the Google provider.
This is mainly 3 steps:
add the oauth client to your application

I'm not sure if google has something more specific for google drive integration and/or go-lang client in particular. Please do some searching.
make the glue code on your go app so that the user can interact with this (the login button (or command, if it is terminal based), error messages, logout, etc)

Currently, I have been tasked to utilize the Google People API to ask for a user's basic Google information along with their public phone numbers. So far the results have been positive.
The solution my team and I have incorporated the Google People API integration in has the capacity to be utilized across thousands of domains. As a result, my question is simply, How can my team members and I ensure that any our clients that utilize our solution with their own particular domain get our new functionality built with the Google People API?
Keep in mind, our clients have the flexibility to have http/https and any subdomain on their site. Entering each domain possibility for our client base one by one would not be an easy task. I'm seriously hoping there is a solution around the single, explicit origin entries.

You must remember that if this is source code you are giving your clients that you are not allowed to release your client id and client secret. This includes plugins and scripts.
On November 5th 2014 Google made some changes to the APIs terms of Service.
Asking developers to make reasonable efforts to keep their private
keys private and not embed them in open source projects.
So if your clients could view the code of your application and see your client id and secret you should not be giving it to them.

Recommendation:
The best solution for you will be to instruct your users now to create there own project on Google Developer Console and create their own JS origins.
You may just have to provide your own wrapper around the target API where you authorize the client request yourself and then do the request from Google using your own credentials.
Around a year ago I made an iOS application that finds restaurants near your location of any type and displays information about them. I made a web service call using the FourSquare api to get all the data which was returned in json format and then I parsed it and displayed the information on the UI of the app. Now I want to make an android application using Xamarin.Android since I am learning working with Xamarin studios and C#. When I make a Xamarin.Android application and go to packages then add packages I see there is a Foursquare api package that has a .NET wrapper around it. Here is the website url:

So my question is how does this work? Does adding this package mean I don't have to make a web serivce call anymore, instead all the data is stored inside this package and I just have to get all the data the same way I get information from a local database? What are the advantages of using this package instead of just making a web service call to Foursquare?
Think of it this way:
This Foursquare API is simply a .NET wrapper of the web service that you want to use. Thus, somebody has gone ahead and done all of the hard work for you so you can simply consume the returned data in your applications.
What does this mean for you?
Well it means that you don't have to write any REST consumption code and you can focus more on the actual application and any business logic that you need to implement based on the Foursquare objects.
To not confuse any further, this data would come the same way as if you wrote your own web service to access the data from the Foursquare API endpoint.
Advantages:
Already written for you
You don't need to know your way around their REST API
Usually follows best practices per language so it's easy to consume (Objects created, methods, etc)
Disadvantages:
REST endpoint might be updated and not reflect in the package until it's updated
Any bugs/issues in the framework can be hard to workaround if the project is not open source
Could be a lack of documentation on how to use the wrapper

It can take a while to get access it took me over a month you might want to start there first. While you are waiting I suggest you look at the normal ruby google analytics core reporting API examples once you are familiar with those you should be able to get the insert views working.
Basically, I want to use the Facebook Ads Manager Tool to estimate the number of users targeted by a particular set of targeting parameters. I know there is a published API available, but it is only usable if you are on their advertising application "whitelist." I am sure what I am asking is possible. Plus, it would be interesting to learn more about scraping.
Facebook's Ads Manager Tool is basically an AJAX UI for their ads API. In the process of creating a campaign, you can specify targeting parameters, and the page will dynamically report the number of users targeted as you modify the parameters. From what I've read on the web and here on stackOverflow, it is possible to use Firebug or a similar tool to pick apart what requests are being made by the page and to where, then mimicking these calls to get the information you want.
I'm having trouble interpreting the panels of Firebug. I think the URI I'm trying to send a request to is www.facebook.com/ajax/inventory_estimator.php, though I'm not sure how to form a call.
So, if I want to write a script or program that takes a list of words to use as keywords and returns the estimated number of users for each keyword, how could I do it?

yes using an extension like firebug to examine the HTTP requests is a good way to do this.
