Kendo scheduler -- manually trigger appointment edit - kendo-ui

In Kendo scheduler, how can I trigger the edit event of a specific appointment?
I want to directly hotlink the to a certain appointment so it looks like
scheduler.aspx?appointment=1234
and that would include pre-loading appointment #1234 edit modal on page load.

I'm not sure, but I think this can help if you want to fire the edit event manually.
var scheduler = $("#scheduler").data("kendoScheduler");
var event = scheduler.dataSource.at(0); // or at(1234)
scheduler.editEvent(event);

mark complete from another context

I have an Account form.
In the interactions tab I have the sub grid for meetings.
I have added the new button to this Sub-grid, 'Complete the Meeting'.
I want to trigger the 'Mark Complete' button of the Meeting form from here.
How can I do it ?
My first choice would be using Activities subgrid instead of Appointments. I just verfied as below.
If that wont work for you for any reasons, then custom ribbon button is a good choice. You have to customize the command of your custom button to use javascript command, then pass the selected IDs from subgrid to ribbon button command and iterate the IDs for updating Appointment records using Xrm.Webapi in javascript function.

Any way to limit how often onChange happens in a DateInput? (blueprintjs)

We're using the date input component as part of some parameterization on a page. So, as soon as the onChange event fires we want to go fetch some more data.
The problem is that the onChange fires too often as a user is typing. If I type just "Nov" that's setting a valid date of Nov-01-YYYY, and so the onChange event fires. I believe I would like to fire the onChange only when a full date has been entered, or the enter key is pressed, though I'm open to other ideas.
DateInput does not currently provide such a feature. Sounds like you're requesting an onConfirm handler. GitHub is the place to request features.

Time of stay on webpage

I want to know the time a user spends to fill a particular field in the page and want to trigger an event if the user spends more than 5 minutes to answer a question on that page.
I've looking at various Web Analytical tools like Crazyegg, Lucky Orange. Google Analytics for my website and i did not find any of them have this feature.
Is there any way that i can get this feature in my website.
I've been researching to get the perfect fit but in vain.
Any advice would help.
Thank you.
With the help of the Google Tag Manager you should be able to do this with Google Analytics:
Add a Datalayer to your page, which fires if a User starts filling your form/field.
Build a Event, Listening on this Datalayer and send a Timestep (for example: Category = Form, Action = Start, Label = {{Timestamp}}) Now you know then a User started interacting with your form.
Build a second Datalayer, fireing when the User sends your form. Build a Event for this and send your second Timestamp to GA (for example: Category = Form, Action = End, Label = {{Timestamp}}) - now you know how long a user needs for your form.
Trigger the Event
Here we can use the same Datalayer, we used with the Event-Tracking.
Build a Triger for your Event, listening on the Datalayer and then starts a Countdown (Timer-Trigger in GTM)
In the Timer-Trigger rules you have to specify, that the Trigger should not fire if the second Datalayer (Datalayer-End) fired allready.

What is difference between OnChange and AddOnChange in Dynamics CRM

In CRM 2011, i wrote a function in js and attached that function to OnChange event of a field. When the value changed in LookUpField1, it should update value of another LookUpField2 but it is only updating after saving and loading the form.
Where as if i use addonChange and firing the function, LookUpField2 value is automatically updating when LookUpField1 is changed.
Why is it working with addonChange and not OnChange event of attr?
Apart from programmatically firing a function using addonChange, are there any instances where we need to use addonchange?
I hope i make sense ;) & Thanks in advance!!!
OnChange is the event. addOnChange is the way to add a handler Here's what the documentation says:
OnChange Event
Use the addOnChange, removeOnChange, and fireOnChange
methods and to manage event handlers for the OnChange event.

Jqgrid Edit Form Change Event of Select doesnt fire when scrolling thorugh records

I have been following this example, http://www.ok-soft-gmbh.com/jqGrid/DependendSelects2.htm, as it is just what I need. I have got it working but it doesnt work when scrolling through records. If you bring up the form and scroll from a UK record to a US record, the list doesnt change. The onChange event only fires when the user selects from the select drop down.
Is there a way around this?
Thanks for your help.

My old demo uses 'change' event handler defined in the dataEvents property of the editoptions. In the dataEvents array one can define other event handlers.
You need just bind keyup to the column exactly like it's described in the answer. In the body of the event handler you can do the same actions as in the body of the 'change' event handler (you can place the code in a function and call it from the both handlers). In the way you should be able to solve the problem.
UPDATED: I updated the old answer and another one which was origin for the demo which you used. The new demo support the navigation buttons (the buttons to edit the 'next' or the 'previous' row) in the editing form.
