i'm using this very nice plugin on my website for mobile device and i notified that when click to open menu, it takes 1 sec delay.
Also in the demo plugin page mmenu.frebsite.nl (visit from mobile) you should see the same behaviour.
In the code: jquery.mmenu.js ln 74 there is a sort of note about this delay.
Could it be fixed and have a fluid open/close menu? (close action is perfect)
thx for any response
The owner of plugin replied to me, he said that is normal.
Some browser could have this delay.
So i have to change the plugin.

I have a form in an iframe for cc payment (paymetric). The last field is expiration date from a dropdown list. When the user cursors out of the frame back to my page and hits the submit button FireFox is requiring a click to activate the page then another click to submit. In other words, it seems the user has to click twice on the next button. Again, its only in firefox, and alas i have no live samples to show you :( By the way, losing focus from an input box in the framed form this doesnt happen.
I've tried blur/focus onmouseout of frame, even tried jquery trigger('click') to no avail. Any thoughts anyone?
We have the same Issue - it is solved by cleaning up Firefox:
I am trying to integrate MobPartner ads in my app, the ads from MobPartner can be displayed from "Pools" which contain several ads which automaticly scroll sideways and are set which an individual click link. The page with the ads looks like this, when I set the URL of the WebViewer in AI2, the ads display and scroll as they should.
The problem I have is detecting a click on one of the ads, this is the best I got to:
If a user would click on one of the ads via the WebViewer it will redirect them to the automatic URL set by the advertiser. I will then use the link and set ActivityStarter to WebViewer1.CurrentUrl and start the website full screen instead of the ad resolution (320x48).
I would like to know if there is a way to detect any clicks within WebViewer so that I can start ActivityStarter faster with the link. If not, is there a way to check the URL of the link clicked in WebViewer before the target website loads. In my opinion the timer (set to 1000 interval) is an inefficient way of checking if an ad is clicked. Anyone able to answer my questions above or provide a way of improving this code? Much appreciated.
PS: The HomeUrl for WebViewer has been pre-defined in the designer as well as the ActivityStarter "Action".
Thank you!
There is no possibility to detect any clicks within the Webviewer. The only thing you can detect is an URL change with the Clock component, and this is what you are already doing.
What you could do is to reduce the timer interval or instead of opening the webpage with the Activity Starter, just stay in the Webviewer and set its height and width to fill parent, which is -2 in the Blocks Editor, and hide all the other components on the screen to be able to view only that webpage in full screen.
I want to crawl some web pages, like the following
http://www.youtube.com/user/koglin66/feed?filter=2
but there is a 'load more' button, it is related to an ajax request
http://www.youtube.com/channel_ajax?action_load_more_feed_items=1&activity_view=1&paging=1352148528&channel_id=UCCw8aVnsIeu9S6OPQyaQ14g
I want to crawl the whole page.
Manually, I have click on the button repeatedly until there is no more to load,
by automation, how can I crawl the whole page? thanks!
Yes, you can use Selenium IDE, or use other program/library with browser core to do click action. Like webkit, activex of IE.
And you can try FMiner http://www.fminer.com/, it can record and play human actions on browser to scrape data, but it's not free.
I recently faced same problem with other website I wanted to scrap. I use Java and after some research on the web I used Selenium IDE for firefox in which u can write Java Junit test cases which will automatically open the webpage and click buttons, fill up forms, etc.
It also supports C#,Python,Ruby,etc
I used it to click on Load More button and when the page was loaded completely after all clicks I saved it Manually.
You can download Selenium from their website and I found this youtube video useful too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twdDfDOrHC4
I have manually implemented the Flattr button to my site.
In Firefox (Windows) the "popout" covers the button so one can't press it.
Any other browser renders the popout in the correct place. Can someone confirm this? Or is it a conflict on my site?
Since you don't mention which site is yours I'm left to speculate on the reasons for this and if I do then I think it is that your body-element doesn't start at the top left of your browser and that therefor positioning of the popout fails due to browsers inability to correctly account for offset body elements.
We've had reports of people experiencing this problem in eg. WordPress where the admin-bar that's showed when a user is logged in pushes the entire site down 20 pixels or something and makes the position of the popout be of by 20 pixels. Could it be something similar for you - that you're logged in in Firefox and not in other browsers?
As far as I know there's no workaround for this limitation - eg. jQuery can't account for it either.
Good thing though: If your layout has a body with an offset or something else that makes the popout not work for you you can disable it by setting popout 0 in the settings of the button.
i noticed a strange behaviour of facebook page tab applications, using internet explorer (i tested this only on ie8... with other browser this problem is not present).
If i put javascript code, or background sound in my application, when i goes out from page tab, my application is still running (for example sounds, or javascript activity)...
To show you the issue, i created a page....
Log in into facebook and goes to this page.
http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=252545344807399&sk=app_252545344807399
Don't click like button or anything... you can see a javascript alert each 5 seconds...
next, click on the top facebook logo. You will be redirected to your facebook home, but the url has an hash symbol, because it loads content in ajax.
Wait 5 seconds and tell me if you are still receiving javascript alert from my application in background.
Tell me please if you experience this problem.
Thanks in advance.
