OS X 10.10 install can't verify (Registered developer) - macos

Well this is embarassing...
I'm a college student with an apple developer's license.
I'm currently stuck in the CMD+R recovery partition.
I installed 10.10 successfully earlier today. Then I got the bright idea to format my drive and do a clean install of Yosemite. When I clicked the 'Reinstall OS X' button in the recovery screen I recieved a message telling me that my computer cannot be verified with apple. I'm guessing this is because the recovery drive cannot recognize or download/install my developer certs.
Any ideas on how I can fix this? I'd prefer to install 10.10 but I'll roll back to 10.9 if absolutely necessary.
EDIT:
I solved my problem by doing an internet recovery (Cmd+Opt+R at startup). From there I installed 10.8 and re-installed 10.10 from the mac app store.

If you downloaded it from the developer site, you should have went through redeeming a code step, then Yosemite should be in your purchased app list. Are you sure you are using the account you redeemed the code? If you get the image from someone else, you probably want to redeem the code from the developer center.

I was able to get a clean install by booting to an external Mountain Lion disk and running the installer from there. More info: http://themainthread.com/blog/2014/06/clean-install-yosemite.html

I solved my issue by re-installing 10.8 onto my main partition and updating to 10.10 from there.

Since apple has not released OS X Yosemite to the public they can't verify the software because the recovery mode disk utility is for non developers, the software is not in the apple system yet. You should just make a bootable usb and do a clean install of OS X Yosemite.

Items to try:
1) Repair Permissions (better if booted into Recovery HD)
2) Resync time with Apple's Servers via System Preferences
...if all else fails, you can nuke and pave, or create a bootable USB installer.

Re-install os x Yosemite beta for developer after mac hd initialized

I've got os x Yosemite beta 3 for developers.
I need to format or initialise my macintosh HD and re-install it, but how am i sure that i will be able to re-install it? Because if I go on developer.apple.com and I try to re-download the Yosemite from apple store, it tells me that the code is already used; exactly:
Code already used
So how to know if i will able to re-install the Yosemite beta and not mavericks?
I need Yosemite and i need to format.
Thanks
Download it from the App Store, using the account you redeemed your code on. From there, you can reinstall it using the app or maybe make a install media using this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5856

OSX Location Services cannot be enabled on Mountain Lion/Mavericks

I had this problem since OS X Mountain Lion, and it remains after installing OS X Mavericks. When trying to use any App that requires my location, I am asked to enable Location Services. When I try to do so in System Preferences, I check the option and it immediately unchecks itself. (Note: I do have Wi-fi on).
The console reports the following, every time I try to check the option.
25/12/13 12:48:21.478 PM com.apple.preference.security.remoteservice[1595]: CoreLocation: CLInternalSetLocationServicesEnabled failed
Some users have attributed this problem to a faulty installation of iOS simulators via XCode. I have deleted XCode prior to the OS X Mavericks installation and it still does not work.
Does anyone have a clue of why this seems to happen?

Mac requirement for Delphi XE4 Professional + Mobile Add-On

I can't find information on what are the system requirements for Mac for the mobile add-on for Delphi XE4 (Professional).
My understanding is that XCode is still required to sign the app binary and to deploy it on a test device and/or App Store.
Our Mac is so old that the minimum requirement of OSX for the latest XCode won't even install.
I'd like to know if we need to have the Mac upgraded to accomodate this.
Ok - found the answer: https://www.embarcadero.com/products/rad-studio/rad-studio-data-sheet.pdf second page:
PC running Windows connected with an Intel-based Mac, with 2 GB RAM
or more, running OS X
10.8 (Mountain Lion) or 10.7 (Lion) over a local area network using a SSH, VNC or Windows file sharing solution
Apologies & much appreciated if you've attempted to help me:
XCode will still be required, so of course your Mac system will have to be updated to be able to support it.
The documentation for XE3 will give you the minimums requirements for that version, and you should require XE4 to at least require those minimum requirements. As it doesn't seem your existing system meets those, you can probably be sure it won't support the requirements for XE4.

Xcode failed to install

I am trying to install Xcode 4.2 on my Mac system having OS version 10.6.8.
Actually, I removed the Xcode from the system and tried to reinstall it.
I quit iTunes before installing it, and I have enough free space on disc (111 GB). Below is a screenshot of the error. What should I do?
Set your system time to 1st January 2012 or earlier (but not too early), as the certificate that signed the package has expired.
I had the same error message. In my case, it was solved by updating the OS software. There was an update waiting for "Apple installations software". After the update, Xcode installed perfectly well.
I found out I could download the installer directly from Apple instead of through the app store, and that the error described by the accepted answer could also be circumvented by installing the Mobile Development Framework manually.
See forum post Problems installing Xcode on Lion for more details.
I had the same trouble on Mac OS 10.8.5 when installing Xcode 4.4.1, Xcode 5.1.1, and Security_Update_2014-005. It turned out that the reason was the same in all these cases: an incompatibility with Vodafone/Huawei UMTS drivers. A workaround in this case is to temporarily move them away, e.g.
mv /System/Library/Extensions/{HuaweiDataCardDriver.kext,Vodafone.kext,VodafoneFilter.kext} ~
Then do the installation/update, and then restore those drivers, e.g.,
mv ~/{HuaweiDataCardDriver.kext,Vodafone.kext,VodafoneFilter.kext} /System/Library/Extensions/

XCode 4.2 not getting installed on my mac

I want to install XCode 4.2 on my mac. I have the dmg, but when I start the installation process, I get the file size as zero kb. Attaching the screen shot of the same:
Can anyone tell me what the problem might be???
The Mac version i am using is 10.7.2....
I have tried changing the install location, but it was of no use.
The installation process takes around 15 mins (although the size is zero kbas is in screen shot) and at the end, I am getting the message "Installation Completed"
EDIT:
For mac OSX version 10.7.2 (Mac OSx Lion), Do I need to download XCode 4.3. The dmg that I have got from one of my friend is titled "xcode_4.2_and_ios_5_sdk_beta_6_for_snow_leopard.dmg". Also, I have tried installing XCode 3.2.6 and it also is experiencing a similar problem.
what have you used for downloading?
The most of download managers downloads damaged files when Internet connection error was occured. The second type of managers stops downloading herein.
Don't use itunes if you can. I advice you to download xcode via torrents because they are protected from these downloading errors. Or at least try to download it via firefox because it stops the downloading instead of masking download erros.
I read the following in the Xcode Release Notes (developer account required) in the Apple developer documentation:
Installation
You can install Xcode 4.2 for Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard only if you have purchased an earlier release of Xcode.
Install or update Xcode through the Purchases or Updates panes.
If you purchased Xcode from the Mac App Store, the Install Xcode app is on the volume on which you installed Xcode.
To install Xcode 4.2 on another volume, you must delete all copies of the Install Xcode app from your file system.
Maybe the first point explains your problem!?
I have downloaded the new dmg of XCode 4.2 from apple developer portal (developement tools). Its XCode_4.2_for_Lion. And it has got installed without any problem.
