N2CMS - Firefox 30 : Part selector drag&drop broken - firefox

I'm currently using the N2 CMS framework (version 2.6.3) for my Asp website, and since the last firefox update (30.0) the part selector doen't work anymore.
When editing a page, the part selector his partly outside of the screen and the drag and drop doesn't work at all.
Any idea on how to fix it?

My bad, it was just a side effect coming from an obsolete version of jquery.
Problem solved!

Are there any visual differences between WKWebView and UIWebView?

I wanted to migrate away from the deprecated UIWebView in Xamarin Forms iOS, and I read online that WKWebView is now the default in Xamarin Forms 4.x, and I was currently in 3.6.0.x.
So I decided to update hoping that the Webview would automatically update for me, but I realized there is no way to tell because I don't know what, and if there even is a difference in how the webviews look. I've looked online but can't find any side by side pictures of the same app/interface using WK vs. UI. Is there a difference at all?
The only difference I saw after updating, was that on one of the pages, the loading icon wouldn't disappear whereas it did after a couple of seconds in UI.
Thanks!
Welcome to StackOverflow! :)
The easiest way to answer this question is simply going to be to test it. To my knowledge, both UIWebView and WKWebView use the exact same underlying WebKit code/engine to render HTML content. There may be differences due to separate defaults and properties that one has vs. the other, but for the most part, they should be identical. But you shouldn't take my word for it! If you can, give it a try.

kendo ui back button breaks my app navigation

I have tried to get the data-role="backbutton" kendo mobile ui feature to work but I am having issues. When testing the app on my iPhone 4 I get stuck in my app because the back button breaks the UX.
What happens is that when I am testing, I click heaps of back buttons (as they are used quite heavily in my app) and then randomly one decides to slide the previous view into the screen but only goes halfway and then snaps back (or some other type of visual glitch occurs). Then after that, all my navigation breaks down and I get stuck in the last view that I was in. Or better yet the links go to places that they are not supposed to. My tab bar does not work and either do links in the header. I have to exit the app completely, remove it from operating and try again. Seriously something wrong going on here.
I have tried to programatically add the back button by following the Kendo UI documentation but that does not work either. I am left with a button that does absolutely nothing when clicked - it may not even solve the issue anyway. I have looked using developer console in Google Chrome but I can't see any obvious issues.
Has anyone using Kendo Mobile UI experienced this issue before?
I downloaded the latest release of the Kendo UI build and the problem seems to have been resolved. Surprising! I assumed the Kendo framework was a bit more mature to be experiencing such a big issue. It was occurring when using slide transitions in navigation. Here is a link to the bug post on Github https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ui-core/issues/66

Unable to highlight text in textboxes in IE9

I have C# MVC web app that has some textboxes that in IE9 you can enter in text, but you can't highlight via the mouse or via holding shift and the arrow keys.
I've looked around on the web and i've found other people experiencing this, with no solution.
One site i found claimed it was an issue with IE9 on pages that make multiple AJAX calls, which my site has but, removing AJAX really isn't a solution.
Is there a way via code or via settings in IE9 so that users can highlight text in a textbox? Or is this an outstanding bug in IE9?
Edit:
The website works perfectly fine in chrome
Turns out it was a rogue jquery statement that was
(.someClass).disableSelected()
that was disabling selection on every single textbox in my site. The kicker being that IE and Chrome handled it one way and Firefox a different way making it seem like a different bug
I had the same issue.
Select Tools on the IE bar / F12 developer tools. under the tab ( Document Mode IE9 standards ) check marked Alt+9. Closed the developer box. Closed IE9 opened it back up and everything worked as it should.
Hope this helps.

Cannot click or select inputs on IE 8 Form

So basically been working on this issue for far too long now and nothing I do seems to fix the issue.
Basically if you go to http://www.completeenergy.co.uk and click on the "Get a Quote" button then try to enter details into the form nothing happens. You can not click on the inputs and or select anything within the form. This seems to happen in both IE7 and IE8.
Any ideas as to why this would happen when all other browsers seem to be working fine?
Okay, I seem to have accidentally come across the culprit. There was some strange conflicting issues arising from using the jquery pngfix. I made it so only versions lower than IE 7 can use it and boom, it starts working again.
Thanks for the help though.
not sure, but it worked fine for me in IE8. Do you have any toolbars installed?
This common issue is usually due to a z-index bug in IE. Try giving the input relative positioning and assigning a higher z-index.
I was clicking on a form on a company intranet web site and nothing was happening.
Intranet defaults IE into compatibility mode, so the form was broken.
You can force edge compatibility in your browser or with HTML and IE behave like modern browsers.

jQuery Marquee - Resets after four entries in Firefox

Good evening everyone.
I am puzzling over the oddity that the jQuery Marquee plugin, which was working fine, suddenly resets itself after showing only four of six entries here: http://site427.mysite4now.net/tazthedog/site1/ (click on the Upcoming Events tab in the lower-right hand corner).
This works correctly in IE and Chrome on a PC, but in Firefox on a Mac and PC it resets after four.
Any ideas why it resets?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Doesn't seem to be a problem for me in Chrome 5. What browser are you seeing this bug in?
Edit:
Ah, I got it in Firefox. Could be any number of things. Looks like it might be an edge detection thing. Or the height they pull from the page isn't the proper height needed for the animation. Chrome displays this properly, so you might want to check the "hitedge" and "height" variables to make sure they are properly assigned and defined. It could also be a timing thing or some sort of event delay with Firefox. Try upgrading to the latest version of jquery 1.4.2 to see if that resolves anything.
