JDeveloper Create Web Service - oracle

I am following book Getting started with oracle suite 11g R1 A Hands on tutorial.
I am using a bit more recent versions that recommended in book (because there is no place any more where I can download files recommended by book) and till now everything was OK.
Specifically I am using JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.5.0, Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.5.0_GENERIC_110409.0025.6013, SOA Composite Editor 11.1.1.5.0.01.74 and SOA Server PCBPEL_11.1.1.5.0_GENERIC_110418.1550.0174
while in book they suggest JDEVADF_11.1.1.1.0_GENERIC_090615.0017.5407. and SOA Composite Editor: 11.1.1.0.0.52.19 and SOA Server PCBPEL_11.1.1.1.0_GENERIC_090618.1440.5219.
Here comes the problem:
In book they instruct to do this
But when I try do do that, i get this (look similar to screenshot from book)
...and here comes the big difference...
..and especially after I click at magnifying glass...
After this point whatever I try I can't get to this:
Have a missed some step?
Or if the JDeveloper version are so much different how should I accomplish what they instruct to do? Or a problem is in a SOA suite or it's JDeveloper extension?
Up to this point all tests were passed, and everything was working as suggested in a book.
How should I resolve that problem?
Where could I get files that they advise to be used as Oracle is not offering them anymore for download?
(quotation from book)
Go to:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/soa/soasuite/index.html, and
download the following from SOA Suite 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) to
c:\stageSOA:
WebLogic Server:wls1031_win32.exe
Repository Creation Utility:ofm_rcu_win32_11.1.1.1.0_disk1_1of1.zip
SOA Suite:ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.1.0_disk1_1of1.zip
JDeveloper Studio, base install: jdevstudio11111install.jar
Is there ANY tutorial or book which covers the most recent version of SOA Suite 12c altogether with JDeveloper and Database - so in short, updated version of their book? Especially if it covers SoreFrontDemo (or similar) application?
UPDATE: If I click here
and select that option than I have option to do this:
..and this...
and finally this - coud thisbe resolution to this problem?
UPDATE 2:
I found JDeveloper version jdevstudio11112install.jar and with it screenshots from book matches screen menus from that version of JDeveloper. Still it would be better if i could find version jdevstudio11111install.jar. I had to find and manually install soa-jdev-extension.zip because it is not avaiable with automatic update/install of extesnions (JDeveloper asks for support username and pass).
What I want to ask is how to get to following screens in JDeveloper jdevstudio11115install.jar or jdevstudio11117install.jar or who are still more- less officially supported.
If I could get there then I could set those parameters instructed by the book.
Is there ANY place where I could get jdevstudio11111install.jar as well as the following files from SOA Suite 11g Release 1(11.1.1.1.0):
WebLogic Server: wls1031_win32.exe
Repository Creation Utility: ofm_rcu_win32_11.1.1.1.0_disk1_1of1.zip
SOA Suite: ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.1.0_disk1_1of1.zip
JDeveloper Studio, base install: jdevstudio11111install.jar

At this point:...
and here comes the big difference...
Click the Green + where it says Input - this will lead you to where you can choose the type.
The search-spyglass icon you were clicking on is where to SAVE the WSDL it will generate based on the XSD. You choose the XSD by clicking the Green +.
A GREAT book to learn SOA Suite is here.
Start with that and go through the tutorial at the back - takes you from XSD/WSDL to full SOA Suite impl in a few chapters.

Oracle JD Edwards EquipementManager Documentation

Where can I find the full API documentation of EquipmentManager? the official/unofficial docs and books keep pointing to the javadoc packages (JP170001,J1700001,J1700002) which I couldn't find.
P.S I'm looking for an online documentation (without downloading the whole software to get its documentation).
I know this answer is 3 months old, but you can find a good deal of information on Equipment Management in this Oracle Doc:
https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E16582_01/doc.91/e15144/managing_equipment.htm#EOASM00153
This doc will mention that P1702 is the Fast Path app ID to get to the application. From the application within JDE, you can run the Data Browser to view some of the underlying table information:
V1201R [F1201/1217 Equipment Master]
This app will use the view 1201R that utilizes tables F1201 and F1217.
It doesn't sound like you have the application installed, but this website will have plenty of table information for these two tables:
http://jderef.com/?schema=910&system=&table=F1217
If you find yourself struggling with the underlying tables, JDERef.com should be a good starting point.
I also found this online reference that directly mentions those Javadoc's in regards to this API. It's from version 9.0 but seems to have a good deal of information, including the tables mentioned above, and the packages you mentioned:
https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15156_01/e1apps90pbr0/eng/psbooks/1afi/chapter.htm?File=1afi/htm/1afi09.htm
However, it seems to point mostly to where to find the Javadoc through the Enterprise One install directory (example): C:\B9\STAGINGA\java\javadoc
If you still need this exact javadoc, I can get it for you this evening. I'll just install JDE and pull it from the install directory.
UPDATE: As promised, here's the Javadocs you requested.
Link to Javadocs
UPDATE #2: This also just dawned on me, but you can go to Oracle's eDelivery website, and search for the JD Edwards Standalone software. You can scroll through the list until you see the "REL:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Standalone 9.2.0.0". Download the 4 files and unpack them. One of the files will have a single folder inside that says DEMO. The javadocs are located in DEMO\Java\Javadocs folder. On a standard release in the real world, the DEMO folder would be the folder with the proper instance name. Good luck to you!

SonarQube - How to activate source syntax-highlighting after 5.0 migration WITHOUT make another analysis of components?

I know that the 5.0 release note say "After the migration, source syntax-highlighting won't be available on a project until it has been successfully analyzed"
BUT, i can't imagine that there is no way to activate just by running another analysis. In fact, when you have thousands of components (it's our case), you can't plan 4500 analysis just to "restore" a basic but helpful functionality ! And it's more true when you know that the majority of theses components wasn't changed since a time ago... :(
So, please, say me that we can write a little batch or program that will do the job without need to pull all the sources ! I don't know how because i don't' understand this limitation of this upgrade (why sources aren't accessible)
You should trust the release notes. Information required for syntax highlighting is computed during analysis. Note that it also requires the language plugins to support this feature. I suggest to upgrade them to latest versions.

LXR initdb-mysql script in v2.0.0

I am trying to install LXR tp parse my working folder of linux. In some of the tutorials on the web to set it up, they are trying to use the initdb-mysql script to initialize LXR's database in mysql. Well, I can not find this script in v2.0.0 but I can see it in older versions. Is that one still valid for use with v2.0.0? If not, what script I can use to setup the db for LXR v2.0.0? or if this whole DB thing was dropped how can I proceed?
on a side note: why linux projects always lack the proper documentation?!!!! I can see they have procedure for installing LXR on their own webiste and I believe it is outdated...why not update it?
Thank you!
Don't know if you're still looking for an answer, but here is one for the record.
Creating the DB is part of LXR initialization and is considered an internal step (i.e. not end-user visible). As such, it is allowed to change along the configuration process. This is why it is crucial to follow the procedure adapted to the LXR version.
LXR 2.x is configured with a configuration wizard (scripts/configure-lxr.pl) which takes care of generating the DB structure based on a template (templates/initdb/initdb-*-template.sql). These templates are not directly usable; they must be customized by the wizard to produce an initialization script custom.d/initdb.sh which you must manually launch after the wizard has finished its job.
The whole procedure for a simple case is shown on the LXR site. From the home page, select the installation link for the version you use (note that the procedure for 1.x also applies to 2.x).
For complex cases, download and read the comprehensive user's manual from SourceForge. Once again, select the manual adapted to the LXR version.
These manuals are not outdated since the LXR project has a rule to withhold release until documentation is ready.

Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Plugin development

I am very new in developing a plugin for Oracle Enterprise manager. I have setup my work environment(installed Adobe Flex builder,Extensibility Development Kit(Edk) and all). I have also succesfully deployed a sample plugin to OEM grid control. Now I have a few queries which can be solved by someone who already done plugins in OEM(Hope SE contains some). I have posted in oracle's forum, but getting no response. Here are my queries:
1) Is it possible to add the Sample plugin created also to be listed when selecting the targets from Enterprise>Monitoring>Logs? If yes, how can I do that.
2) Also, in that case can I add a custom UI instead of showing logs in table.
Thanks in advance!!
For those who came across the same problem and get here through google,

Sharp Architecture Simple CRUD Application

i am trying to get start with the Sharp Architecture by building the test application mentioned here, i have followed through the steps given in the tutorial but hit a road block where the database schema generation is described. According to the tutorial running the test
IceCreamYouScreamCorp.Tests.SharpArchTemplate.Data.NHibernateMaps.CanGenerateDatabaseSchema
will generate the schema in the Database folder, i couldn't find this test in the generate application by Templify. Please anybody who knows the solution guide me how to run this test so to generate the database schema...
may be i have not pharsed the question well enough, i have figured out the solution
download the NUnit framework
runt the test by using the NUnit
it will create the desired database schema for the sample application
If you tryed to use the version 2.0.0.3, you will have this problem.
Try to select the "2.0.0.0" option on Templify.
To run the test, open NUnit GUI, and go to the following folder and open the .dll file:
[Your_Templifyed_Folder]\Solutions\[Your_Solution_Name].Tests\bin\Debug\[Your_Solution_Name].Tests.dll
Now you can see the right tests list in the NUnit interface.
