Google Genomics API Callsets Search "Unknown field name: datasetIds" - google-api

I've been using the Google Genomics API for about a day now. I've successfully called many of the APIs like Datasets.list, Datasets.get, and even Readsets.search but I'm having a problem with the Callsets.search.
I'm making POST request to:
POST https://www.googleapis.com/genomics/v1beta/callsets/search?key=MY_KEY_HERE
And my request body is:
{
"datasetIds" : [
"376902546192"
]
}
But the response I'm getting back is:
{
"error" : {
"errors": [
{
"domain": "global",
"reason": "invalid",
"message": "Unknown field name: datasetIds",
"locationType": "other",
"location": ""
}
],
"code": 400,
"message": "Unknown field name: datasetIds"
}
}
According to the documentation: https://developers.google.com/genomics/v1beta/reference/callsets/search datasetIds is a perfectly valid parameter.
The crazy thing that's perplexing me is this identical request works just fine on the readsets/search endpoint but not the callsets/search endpoint? I'm almost wondering if it's a bug in the API. Can anyone help?

Received this from Google:
The variants and callsets APIs just went
through some breaking changes so that they'll be compliant with GA4GH
v0.5 when they go fully public.
All breaking changes should be done now - and I'll try to get all the
docs and code samples updated today or tomorrow.
Until then, you can see the real parameters in the API explorer (it
can't lie :) - in this case, the datasetId field has now changed to
"variantSetIds" (still using that same value, just a rename)

I just tested it, and it works. Below are the results:
$ java -jar target/genomics-tools-client-java-v1beta.jar searchcallsets --dataset_id 376902546192

Google Speech API: the requested URL was not found on this server

I am attempting some simple tests on the Google Speech API, and when my server makes a request to this url (below), I get the 404. that's an error response. Not sure why.
https://speech.googleapis.com/v1/speech:recognize?key=[MY_API_KEY]
The body of my request looks like this:
{
"config": {
"languageCode": "en-US",
"encoding": "LINEAR16",
"sampleRateHertz": 16000,
"enableWordTimeOffsets": true,
"speechContexts": [{
"phrases": ["Some", "Helpful", "Phrases"]
}]
},
"audio":{
"uri":"gs://mydomain.com/my_file.mp3"
}
}
And here is the response:
As you can see, that is a valid resource path, unless I'm totally mistaken about something (I'm sure I am): https://cloud.google.com/speech-to-text/docs/reference/rest/v1/speech/recognize
Update 1:, Whenever I try this with the Google API explorer tool, I get this quota exceeded message (even though I have not yet issued a successful request to the API).
{
"error": {
"code": 429,
"message": "Quota exceeded for quota metric 'speech.googleapis.com/default_requests' and limit 'DefaultRequestsPerMinutePerProject' of service 'speech.googleapis.com' for consumer '[MY_API_KEY]'.",
"status": "RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED",
"details": [
{
"#type": "type.googleapis.com/google.rpc.Help",
"links": [
{
"description": "Google developer console API key",
"url": "https://console.developers.google.com/project/[my_project_id]/apiui/credential"
}
]
}
]
}
}
Update 2: Interestingly, I was able to get some 200 ok's using the Restlet client, but even in those cases, the response body is empty (see screenshot below)
I have made a test by using the exact URL and Body content you added to the post, however, I was able to execute the API call correctly.
I noticed that if I add some extra character to the URL, it fails with the same 400 error since it doesn't exist. I would suggest you to verify that the URL of your request doesn't contain a typo and that the client you use is executing the API call correctly. Also, ensure that your calling code is not encoding the url, which could cause issues given the colon : that appears in the url.
I recommend you to perform this test by using the Try this API tool directly or Restlet client which are the ones that I used to replicate this scenario.

Youtube Data API v3 nextPageToken not working

So I've just started to use the Youtube Data API to get comments from youtube videos. My program has been working until I tried to use the next page token to get more comments. So it first calls the normal URL without the &pageToken=***and then the next time it loops back it calls it with that but returns an error
{
"error": {
"errors": [
{
"domain": "youtube.parameter",
"reason": "invalidPageToken",
"message": "The request specifies an invalid page token.",
"locationType": "parameter",
"location": "pageToken"
}
],
"code": 400,
"message": "The request specifies an invalid page token."
}
}
My program, when calling the first time would get the key returned and save it in a variable for the next time it calls the new url. Yes, I have verified that my variable holds a key. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance :D
You forget playlistId it's required , example :
https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/playlistItems?part=snippet&maxResults=3&playlistId=PLw6Y5u47CYq47oDw63bMqkq06fjuoK_GJ&pageToken=EAAaBlBUOkNBTQ&key=['api_key']&nextPageToken=EAAaBlBUOkNBTQ

Mailchimp API 2.0 lists/subscribe responding with error 250 List_MergeFieldRequired MMERGE4 is required

I'm attempting to use the lists/subscribe Mailchimp API 2.0 endpoint to subscribe an email to a list, but I keep getting a puzzling error. My request looks like:
{
"apikey":"myapikey-us5",
"id":"listid",
"email":{"email":"my#email.com"},
"double_optin":false,
"send_welcome":true
}
I'm sending this to https://us5.api.mailchimp.com/2.0/lists/subscribe.json and getting this response:
{
"status": "error",
"code": 250,
"name": "List_MergeFieldRequired",
"error": "MMERGE4 must be provided - Please enter a value"
}
And if I specify "merge_vars": {} I still get the same error. What am I missing here?
It means you need to provide a value for MMERGE4 merge field. How you do this depends on what type of merge field MMERGE4 is, but It would be like this:
{
"apikey":"myapikey-us5",
"id":"listid",
"email":{"email":"my#email.com"},
"double_optin":false,
"send_welcome":true,
"merge_vars": {
"MMERGE4": "something"
}
}
But you should look and see what type of data that is, otherwise you might cause issues for whomever set that up as a required field.

Invalid value (400) using google translate api

What's wrong with my request?
I have sting in russian:
$string = Потенциал, %
I want to translate it to ukrainian with google API:
I urlencode string:
$q = urlencode($string)
And i request google API:
https://www.googleapis.com/language/translate/v2?q=%D0%9F%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BD%D1%86%D0%B8%D0%B0%D0%BB%2C%20%25&target=ua&source=ru&key=A...
In response I get :
{
"error": {
"errors": [
{
"domain": "global",
"reason": "invalid",
"message": "Invalid Value"
}
],
"code": 400,
"message": "Invalid Value"
}
}
What's wrong with my request?
Solution was simple. Google has UK letters for ukrainian instead of UA.
The target should be uk not ua.I think it will resolve the issue.
In my case I was trying to translate to "es-uy" but despite being a valid language code, Google doesn't support it.
Here are the language codes that the API supports:

googleapis giving back bad request

Having implemented oauth2.0 and done a handshake using the scopes:
"https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email ",
"https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile",
"https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user ",
"https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.group ",
"https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.orgunit ",
I get back a token
the request
$ curl -X GET https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v1/userinfo?access_token=<Token>
{
"id": "{id}",
"email": "{email}",
"verified_email": true,
"name": "{name}",
...
}
as it should.
however a requst to the admin.directory.user namespace does not succeed:
$ curl -X GET https://www.googleapis.com/admin/directory/v1/users?access_token=<Token>
{
"error": {
"errors": [
{
"domain": "global",
"reason": "badRequest",
"message": "Bad Request"
}
],
"code": 400,
"message": "Bad Request"
}
}
Any good ideas to why this is?
The request to admin.directory.users is constructed from https://developers.google.com/admin-sdk/directory/v1/reference/#Users
I had the same problem retrieving all users through https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user endpoint. According to the documentation, you could do that in a specific domain by passing the domain as a parameter or get all existing users by passing the customer=my_customer parameter as follows:
Retrieve all users in a domain doc: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user?domain=example.com
or
Retrieve all account users doc: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user?customer=my_customer
In google playground oauth2 also you can test the above stuff by selecting Admin SDK API directory_v1 and auth/admin.directory.user.readonly to authorize the respective scope, then call the above requests.
Note that, you may need to get access to google playground within your google admin dashboard under the security apps section.
You need to specify either the domain (to get fields from only one domain) or the customer (to return all domains for a customer account).
I filed a bug to make more clear that is required to provide one of the two parameters.
At the very least, you need to include the Content-Type header:
curl -X GET -H "Content-Type: application/json" https://www.googleapis.com/admin/directory/v1/users?customer=my_customer&access_token=<Token>
For a full script that implements this API with CURL and BASH see this answer.
Note that the documentation is currently incorrect because it lists customer as an optional parameter when it is in fact required.
