how to export / import role in ITIM 5.1? - tivoli-identity-manager

I am new to Tivoli Identity Manager, while learning Role Administration i came across concept of Exporting roles.
I want to know whats the need to export / import roles in ITIM and how do we do that ?

Export / import features are so that you can move a configuration from one system to another. This is primarily used when testing a system out on a development system, and then you want to move those configuration settings (e.g. roles) to a production system. It is also useful for creating a backup of the system in case something is accidentally removed or changed (although it should definitely not be the primary method of backup for the ITIM/ISIM system).

The ISIM roles are stored in the ISIM LDAP instance you've configured.
You can export and import the roles in this node. All the roles are stored here.
ou=roles, erglobalid=00000000000000000000, ou=something, DC=somethingLikeCOM
The last node will be your base DN.
Export all the roles under this subtree mentioned above and then import them when required.
We normally do this for backups or for deploying a configuration to an other environment.

what is the proper way to clone Dynamics v9 on-premise environment?

Helllo,
I have a working and up to date environment for Dynamics v9 on-prem.
I want to create another environment which will be identical to the above mentioned one.
Let's say that I want to clone PROD env and create a new Test environment with the same data and customizations that I have in prod.
What are the proper steps ? There is a lack of resources about this topic so I might have posted this in a wrong place. In this case, sorry and please refer me to the correct forum if you know such.
My idea is that, yes I would back up the sql server and then restore it but what happens on the Dynamics side ? Do I need to import any kind of configuration from the Dynamics Deployment Configuration ?
Or can I create the new environment and then restore the prod database in this env ?
Thanks
Steps:
Backup the database of the existing D365 organization
Create a new D365 organization
Restore the new organization using the backup of step 1
The wizard will guide you through the process.

Is there a way to export / import users roles and profiles from one kibana to another?

I'm doing a migration of some elasticsearch cloud deployements, I easily found how to export index patterns, visualisations and dashboards from the old kibana to the new one, but didn't found an equivalent functionnality for the users& roles security parameters.
I'd like to avoid recreating manually 50+ profiles and having each one of them reset his password...

Do i need to ask gcloud support for enabling exchange custom rules in VPC peering?

I have created two gcloud projects, one for cloud sql and one for kubernete cluster. For accessing SQL in project one i have set import export custom routes . Do i need to take gcloud confirmation for this or this is enough? as i have read somewhere that after these steps ask gcloud support for enable the exchange of custom routes for your speckle-umbrella VPC network associated with your instance that is automatically created upon the Cloud SQL instance is created.
As far as I know this step is not included in the public documentation and is not necessary if you are connecting from within the same project or from any service project ( if configured with Shared VPC), then you don't require to export those routes. This is generally required if you are connecting from on-prem.

Why do some Jelastic providers block Export Environment option

According to Jelastic documentation it is possible to export the Environment configuration and download it so it can be restored in another provider
However I have tried with 2 Jelastic providers and they both have disabled the option for exporting private data.
So exporting/download/upload/import of environment is not possible.
i.e. I was expecting to have a process similar to CPanel backup/restore tool
In fact, another view for the deployment process gives a possibility to get rid of the model of handling the data or configuration on the platform. Try to think a bit differently and using CI/CD approach. The Jelastic provides a platform where something you created, locate on somewhere you're elaborating(VCS or GIT as an example) and based on or depends on the specific stack, already pre-configured like a layer and can be installed(copied) over Jelastic. Don't need to handle the data somewhere in the cloud because you have it locally(means within any VCS) and doing the changes there. Then just do a 'pull' procedure(manually or automatically) on that deployment(test, production, staging) environment you're expecting.
Moreover, you can expect any environments type like a code and perform it creating before deploying the data.
Please, find the articles being described each case:
Deployment Guide
Jelastic Packaging Standard for CI/CD Automation
In case you would like to handle the databases' backups, check this article:

Additional FTP add-on can make the copies more easily for each instance:
