How to assign FTP URL - visual-studio

I got an AMI of Windows Server 2012 running on Amazon, and use it as website container for all my web sites. I recently created an app in WinForms, I need to publish it. In the moment that I use the publish option it asks for an FTP site. I already use FileZilla Server. I created an user and account. The matter here is that it asks for an FTP URL (ftp.example.com) and I only got (http://example.com). I try to do this with IIS but only can do it with HTTP. How can I create an FTP URL for the site that will contains my ClickOnce app ?.

Check Public DNS column on Instances page of Amazon EC2 console.
Note that the public DNS may change when the instance is restarted.
So your FTP URL would be like:
ftp://ec2-45-123-87-128.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com/
Though, you need to configure the instance firewall to allow the FTP traffic, what is not easy in general. But that's out of scope of your question.

IIS hosted Web Application cannot accessible through Internet

I have hosted Flask Web application on Windows Server on AWS, I have done followings
hosted it on IIS and add new bindings(port 8090) to web site
Created inbound rule for the port(8090) given in bindings
And it works fine on the server, but when i'm trying to access it on my PC's web browser says
it cannot reach took too long to respond
What else i need to do ?
In your vm, different provider has their security policy. For aws even you have set inbound port rule, it will not work. You also need to set inbound rules in their potal.
👉(1) Open Windows firewall, Create an Inbound Port Rule.
👉(2) Directly in Amazon Web Service console, exactly in security groups/inbound.

How to use Azure Traffic Manager with a custom domain, if the DNS settings don't allow for forwarding

I have an Azure web app up and running, using a custom domain purchased outside of Azure... and that all runs fine. So I have https://myappname.azurewebsites.net/ loading fine with my domain name URL https://www.myappname.com
I'm trying to upgrade the web app, though using Azure Traffic Manager. I've cloned the app a few times, each on its own app service plan, and I have the traffic manager all up and running fine. I can successfully hit different versions of my cloned website based on the traffic manager configuration profile... so no issues there.
The only issue is that I can only access the "traffic managed" version of my website via the standard azure URL -> myappname.trafficmanager.net.
All examples I've seen say all I really need to do now, is go into my DNS Management screen, and add domain forwarding, however, my online DNS management tool does not offer this option.
I can't really change my A record in the DNS management screen, because I don't know the IP address of myappname.trafficmanager.net
Every place I've tried to change the name of the current/working Azure URL (like in awverify text files, www cnames, etc.) does nothing. The DNS still points to the single instance which remains in the IP address od the DNS managers A record.
Also, since my live/single instance is linked to the domain name (along with the SSL binding), I can't add those properties to the clones, which makes sense....only one version can be live. However I could unbind that when I make the switch from the single instance web app to the traffic managed set of clones, but I fear I can only bind that to one of the clones. I can't seem to bind it to the myappname.trafficmanager.net version, which might cascade down to all of its endpoints. Is there a way to bind my domain name and SSL cert to more than one version of my web app?

I don't think you can do that unless you have two different domains or subdomains with each own SSL cert. Each web app hostname is unique globally and each SSL binding is attached with the web app domain name.
If you have a purchased domain and just keep the default xxx.azurewebsites.net as each hostname. Then you could configure the two Azure app serves as the endpoint of TM.
By default, Azure provided a wildcard cert for this domain *azurewebsites.net, so you can automatically access this hostname with HTTPS without any extra cert. Then use a CNAME record www in the domain domain.com in your DNS provider to point to the traffic manager hostname myappname.trafficmanager.net. Since Traffic Manager works as DNS level, it does not validate the server and client SSL, you could safely ignore the SSL warning when accessing with traffic manager hostname.

PHP Server Proxy to use in Windows Server Plesk Hosting without command access

Im searching for some time for a php proxy application to run in my hosting running Plesk over Windows Server.
What I really need is a personal proxy server using my hosting services that allows me to use a server:port configuration on my applications. I dont want a online proxy page, because I need a proxy to setup server:port on my application.
its a "light proxy", obviously I dont wanna burn the ip used for my hosted website.
I tryed search for squid, tinyproxy, 3proxy, miniproxys and even Glype, but some are just for linux and other provide just a online proxy page, not a port config.
I don't have command prompt access that is why Im looking for a PHP solution, but it could be any solution than PHP to.

create php web service and access to the internet

I have recently installed PHP, MySQL Server, and Apache web server. I played around with some PHP scripts locally on the PC to insert some entries to MySQL Database.
Noob question so please be patient with me:
How do I get my web service out to the internet, by self hosting? Say I already have a domain for example mydomain.com How do I make it so that when someone not within my network can access mydomain.com/something and can send some data so my server gets it and do anything with that data?
Webhosting
You have to have some form of webhosting. You pay for hosting and you can upload your PHP files to their servers. They will usually also have database servers you can use.
Your domain name has to point to those servers via DNS so the internet can reach your application. I'd suggest you search the internet for popular hosts that provide the tools your need for this.
Self hosting
Another possibility is to open your network up to the world, but this is not recommended unless you have network administration experience due the security trouble that comes with it.
In short: forward a port through your router to the machine running your application. The website portforward.com has instructions on how to do this but keep in mind that misconfiguration could lead to vulnerabilities in your network.

How Can I Get My Flask-based Web App Hosted Online?

I'm using the Flask microframework to run the Python back-end of my site with an SQLite database. It all looks fine and well running on my Ubuntu machine. But how and where can I actually host it online with a proper URL as in: "https://appname.io"?
Do web hosts usually provide Linux and SSH capabilities?
The 'proper URL' you describe is a domain name, and they can be purchased from many online retailers you'll discover when you Google it.
To host your site you will need an actual server host. Many retailers that sell domain names also sell web hosting, but not all. Essentially, every host will provide you with SSH, FTP, MYSQL and anything you may need to host your site. Linking your domain name is normally done automatically if you're purchase both your domain and hosting from the same retailer. However, if purchasing separately you will have to enter the DNS server information to resolve your host.
Try reading this article to get a good idea of how to move your project to a host. This article is for WordPress, but you should be able to get the general idea on the process.
