iOS: Failed to load Asset Catalog JPEG images - ios8

According to WWDC 2014, Asset Catalogs support JPEG images format. I added a JPEG image to my asset catalog, and referenced this image in my storyboard. However, the image just appears white/blank.
I have tried the suggestions in "How can I add JPEGs to an asset catalog in Xcode?", the problem still exists.
Your help would be appreciated!

Did you try to set 'Render As..' option for this image to 'Always Original' in the right panel of asset catalog editor?

How to add GIF file in Xcode assets foler?

I'm using Xcode 12.4 and I want to use GIF image in my app.
So I put GIF Image in Assets.xcassets folder.
But UIImage can't recognize the GIF file with this error message
CoreUI: attempting to lookup a named image 'imgname' with a type that is not a data type in the AssetCatalog
When I open Assets.xcassets folder in xcode, the file is represented like above image.
How to solve this error? I use code to get image
UIImage.animatedImage(with: [UIImage(named: "img_name")!], duration: 15.0)
Thank you.
That's because UIImage is not support file in data set.
You must use NSDataAsset to load gif data from data set

In a Xamarin Forms application. What's a Styles.xcassets file in the iOS project used for?

My application has one of these files but it doesn't seem to do anything and when I click on it, then it shows as empty.
That is an Asset Catalog Image Sets
Asset Catalog Image Sets - Use Asset Catalog Image Sets to manage and
group all version of a given image asset required by an app.
You can add images to your iOS solution, using Resources, or creating a Catalog Image Set.
You can read the official Apple Documentation
There is no default file called Styles.xcassets in the iOS project. And I think this is a normal Asset Catalog Image Sets file created by someone.
In an iOS project, the is a default Asset Catalog Image Sets called Assets.xcassets file and manager your image there.
Also, instead of using the Assets.xcassets, you can create more ....xcassets to manager your images. It can be more clear and is easier to distinguish different kinds of images.
For example, if there is a Styles.xcassets, you can put all images of style into this file. You can also create a Home.xcassets there to put all images in the homePage there.
Hope you understand What's a Styles.xcassets file in the iOS project used for now.

Adding Image in Magento Customized PDF (Extension)

I have an extension installed on my Magento in which I customized it to fit the my expectations.
But in my PDF that I customized, I want to place an image where the picture is placed on the media folder only,
The link of my image is like this http://xxxxxxxx.com/ecommerce/media/GlobalPdf/default/img/barcode.jpg
I can open the link onm the browser and it shows the image but when I included it on the XML, it does not show, it shows only a black box with a white X on it.
Am I missing something? I tried placing it on other locations but to no avail.

Xamarin iOS - specify image to use for button from asset library

I have the following Image asset defined (FSDirectButton)...
How do I specify a button to use this as it's image in the Xamarin xib designer?
When I choose the Image option in the properties window all I see are images that are stored in my Images folder.
I inherited this app which was originally done in a older version of Xamarin iOS, so not sure if that is affecting things or not...
However I want to use the image asset library for my buttons, but I am not sure how to specify in the designer which image to use? Or do I have to do it runtime in code?
Look at this video. It can help you, but raise some new bug. Enjoy
Also you can set the Image from Asset catalog in your ViewDidLoad() method.
For example:
//get image set from asset catalog
var imageFromBunde = UIImage.FromBundle("ImageSet"); //ImageSet - name of your image set in Asset catalog
myImage.Image = imageFromBundle;

Cocoa. Why app's image are changed from png to tiff format in sandbox?

my app's resources are png format, but when I run the app,and open the sandbox's content resources directory,I found that all the images in png format are changed to tiff format, how is it going?
anyone could help me?
Thanks!
This sounds like you have the "Combine High Resolution Artwork" setting set in your project's build settings. With this option set Xcode will automatically combine a standard and #2x image into a single TIFF. See this Apple doc for details.
