How can I create multiple graphs each with their own set of edge weights? For example, NY area with edge weights at 12AM, 6AM, 12PM, etc.
How can I update a graph with changes and save my changes to be loaded later. Is this possible? Or is there another approach? My direction was to edit the weighting code on the github under the core docs. To use a previous S/O answer, regarding dynamic edge weights. Where does this code get placed?
Also, brand new to this project and have not used a project environment as such (maven?). Can someone give me some pointers on how to use the MyGraphhopper extended class with overridding methods? What environment would I need to install on OSX to see the similar core or web interface?
If the above is not possible via web interface, how could I run queries using the command line?

So when we create a new "veins node" we basically are already implementing at least two of those layers. Just consider the Erlangen example, inside homonymous folder inside veins framework and check from there how it's done.
I have several SSIS Packages that we use to load in data from multiple different OLE DB data sources into our DB. Inside each package we have several Data Flow tasks that hold a large amount of OLE DB Sources and Destinations. What I'm looking to do is see if there is a way to get a text output the holds all of the Destinations flow configurations (Sources would be good to but not top of my list).
I'm trying to make sure that all my OLE DB Destination flows are pointed at the right table, as I've found a few hiccups, without having to double click on each Flow task and check that way, it just becomes tedious and still prone to missing things.
I'm viewing the packages in Visual Studio 2013. Any help is appreciated!
I am not aware of any programmatic ways to discover this data, other than building an application to read the XML within the *.dtsx package. Best advice, pack a lunch and have at it. I know for sure that there is nothing with respect to viewing and setting database tables (only server connections).
Though, a solution I may add once you have determined the list: create a variable(s) to store the unique connection strings and then set those connection strings inside the source/destination components. This will make it easier to manage going forward. In fact, you can take it one step further by setting the same values as parameter, as opposed to variables, which have the added benefit of being exposed on the server. This allows either you or the DBA to set the values as you promote through environments or change server nodes.
Also, I recommend rationalizing that solution into smaller solutions if possible. In my opinion, there is nothing worse than one giant solution that tries to do it all. I am not sure if any of this is helpful, but for what its worth, I do hope it helps.
You can use the SSIS Object Model for your needs..An example can be found here. Look in the method IterateAllDestinationComponentnsInPackage for the exact details. To start understanding the code, start in the Start method and follow the path.
Caveats: Make sure you use the appropriate Monikers and Class IDs for the Data Flow Tasks and your Destination Components. You can also use this for other Control Flow Tasks and Data Flow Components (for example, Source Components as your other need seems to be). Just keep in mind the appropriate Monikers and Class IDs.

I have been working for a while now but because of my earlier habits i never worked systematically.
I have never created a workflow chart for my software as how the software will work and instead of that i started working directly which in turn leads to many problems later.
Below is a small situation i currently need help with:-
NOTE:I have already created a software which does the following and i don't need any code for it, i just want to know how a workflow chart is created for such a situation.
1) Party List : This is where i would like to store all of the information of my customer.
2) Sales : Here i will sell my products to the customer.
There are 2 cases here, whenever the customer arrives we have an option to
either save it in the party list and select it from the list in the sales form
or type it manually and then save it
Now comes the checking part:-
If an entry was saved in Sales when the checkbox was ticked and the user selected a party, lets say "Akhmed" has been saved AND the user tries to delete the record of "Akhmed" from the Party List form then the software shouldn't allow it to do so as the entry of "Akhmed" already exist in Sales.
Can anyone show me how a workflow chart is created for such a situation?

First of all, great question. I wish all software engineers thought first before jumping to writing a code. Especially when it's about anything more serious than a couple of lines for fun.
I think your software flow can be expressed as Activity diagram. An example of activity diagram is expressed on this picture: https://www.tutorialspoint.com/uml/images/uml_activity_diagram.jpg
Basically, activity diagram is a combination of steps and transitions (arrows) connecting them. Step can be just something that happens in the flow, or it can be a logical operator (decision) which branches the flow execution into different directions.
If you need to also emphasize who needs to execute the step, besides just showing what the steps are, you can add swimlanes (horizontal or vertical columns showing the actor names) to the activity diagram. Note that terminology can differ from person to person, but these are the names for these 2 kinds of diagrams I have mostly heard and used myself.
There are other kinds of diagrams too, but I think your specific case will be covered with the ones mentioned above. Although... use case diagram can be something you may be interested in, but that does not depict steps. You didn't ask for tools, but I usually prefer to use tools that are rigor (rather than loose like Visio), so I would recommend to use WhiteStarUML. It's free and does a great job. But as I said, it's strictly UML-based, so will require some familiarity with UML.
Finally, about your attached picture:
What you showed looks like an activity diagram with some illegal components on it (illegal from UML specification standpoint). Is it good or bad? - depends. If it's supposed to be a rigor UML diagram then it's bad. If it's just a sketch of an idea - not bad.
Your diagram mentions database sign (called "DB") and arrows connecting to it. That's illegal on an activity diagram UML. Instead, you can have a step which says "Data gets saved to Database", and remove the "DB". Also, you have a single step which says both "Party" and "Sales" on it - that's not a legal UML. I think you tried to express that there are 2 flows. In that case, just have 2 different activity diagrams instead of one.
Your question is quite broad but I'll give it a shot.
I think you want to reconsider your approach. I would suggest reading up on UML sequence diagrams. They are a kind of diagram that provides a way to represent how requests are made within code. UML, in general, can also be used to make class diagrams and other useful flow-like charts for representing code. Many tools, such as visual-paradigm, allow you to build UML diagrams (ex. class diagrams)that can be converted directly into code. This can be useful when getting you started on the program. There is a learning curve with using these tools as different kinds of arrows mean different things, but they can be very powerful. they can also be used to take existing code and convert it to a diagram, which is great when trying to explain how your program works.

lucidchart has an example of a pop-up window diagram like the one you described.
draw.io just allows for you to make the diagrams, not convert them to code, but it is an easy to use tool and integrates with google drive and git hub.

If you are looking for a "professional workflow diagram" UML if a fine way to go, there are many ways they can be laid out and they can be quite professional, I learned about them in school and have used them at work to help plan out the flow of data through our system. There are many more UML tools out there, it might be worth looking into a tutorial to find what's best for you.
You seem to be on the right track, I have never added a database to my flow-charts but it is up to you on how detailed you want to get. You seem to be using the correct symbols!

I personally would remove the UI at the beginning of your chart. Try to stay away from the overly technical examples when starting out with flow-charts, hit up YouTube or Google images for some simple, but correct examples.

I am using Veins to implement a scenario in which I shall update a vehicle's route every time step characterized by the step selfmsg. In which module shall I find this behavior? I want to add some more functions to this module in the application layer by extending it. Is it possible to do that?
You can take advantage of the fact that SUMO updates the positions of all vehicles at exactly the same time. By extension, Veins (I am assuming you are using version 4a2) will update the OMNeT++ positions of all vehicles at exactly the same time. See the Veins tutorial demo application for how to execute code whenever the position changes. Indeed, this will make sure that all code is running within in a single OMNeT++ event, which seems to be what you want.
My first question =). I'm writing a video game with a user interface written in JavaFx. The behavior is correct, but I'm having performance problems. I'm trying to figure out how to figure out what is queuing up the refreshes which are slowing down the app.
I've got a relatively complex Scene Graph that represents a hexagonal map. It scales so that you could have 100 or a 1000 hexagons in the map. As the number of hexagons grow the responsiveness of the gui decreases. I've used YourKit (a Java Profiler) to trace these delays to major redraw operations.
I've spent most of the night trying to figure out how to do two things and understand one thing:
1) Cause a CustomNode to print something to the console whenever it is painted. This would help me identify exactly when these paints are being queued.
2) Identify when a CustomNode is put on the repaint queued.
If I answered 1 and 2, I might be able to figure out what it is that is binding all these different nodes together. Is it possible that JavaFX only works through global refreshes (doubtful)?
JavaFX script is a powerful UI language but certain practices will kill performance. Best performance generally boils down to:
keeping the Scene Graph small
keeping use of bind to a minimum (you can look at using triggers instead which are more performant)

I'm not sure as to the specific answers to your questions. If you examine the 1.2.1 docs you might be able to find a point in the Node documentation that you can override and add println statements but I'm not sure it can be done. You could try posting on forums.sun.com
This is a partial post. I expect to expand it after I've done some more work. I wanted to put in what I've done to date so I don't forget.
I realized that I'd need to get my IDE running with a full compliment of the JavaFx 1.2 source. This would allow me to put break points into the core code to figure out what is going on. I decided to do this configuration on Eclipse for remote debugging. I'm developing my FX in Netbeans but am more comfortable with Eclipse so that's what I want to debug in if I can.
To get this info into Eclipse, I first made a project with the Java source that my code uses. I then added external Jars to the project. On my Mac, the Jars I linked to were in /Library/Frameworks/JavaFX.framework/Versions/1.2
Then I went searching for the Source to link to these Jars. Unfortunately, it's not available. I could find some of it in /Library/Frameworks/JavaFX.framework/Versions/1.2/src.zip.
I did some research and found that the only available option left was to install a Java Decompilier. I used this one because it was easy to install into Eclipse 3.4: http colon_ //java dot decompiler _dot free.fr/ (<-- Please forgive the psudo link, I'm limited because I'm new)
This is where I am now. I can navigate into the Core FX classes and believe I'll be able to set break points and begin real analysis. I'll update this post as I progress.

You'll get console output that includes your frame count per second. For FX 1.2 it wasn't working for me, but it appears to be working for 1.2.1 (which was released Sept. 9, 2009.) I don't have a Netbeans that runs 1.2.1 yet.

Basically, insertions in to the scenegraph are slow and benefits can be seen by batching up inserts
