I have a website built with Logi Info. It keeps logging errors with the following message:
Unable to find the DataLayer for DataLayer.Linked . Set the LinkID to
the ID of a DataLayerLink element. If the DataLayer is defined in
another report definition, ensure that the Target element's
LinkDataLayers = "True".
There does not seem to be a pattern as to what page or user action triggers this error. The only solution I can think of is to read through all the Logi report XML files line by line to find a DataLayer.Linked element with a reference to a DataLayer that does not exist.
What is the best way to go about debugging this error?
Does anyone have experience or advice dealing with Logi Info errors?
Update:
I read through one of the files that was causing errors and confirmed that there were no DataLayer.Linked elements referencing nonexistant DataLayer elements.
What else could be causing this error message?
You don't have to read the files that are causing errors. Just try to open the report file (.lgx) source and look for a datalayer of type Linked as below
<DataLayer
LinkedDataLayerID="This is your link ID which cannot be found"
Type="Linked"
/>
Once you found it, check LinkedDataLayerID if exists. If doesn't exists that is your problem, If exists though, make sure is loaded before your DataLayer Linked element.
I was getting this error when I tried creating group filters and sub-dataTables with the drop down menu. But when I type the column directly into the attribute, I have no problem running the definitions. Hope this helps a bit.
Did you add a Data Layer Link element to your local datalayer? It seems like you forgot to do that. Check this link out on devnet!

So I have a case where I need to be able to work on the actual Hyperlink element inside the body of the docx, not just the target URL or the internal/externality of the link.
As a possible additional wrinkle this hyperlink wasn't present in the docx when it was opened but instead was added by the docx4j-xhtmlImporter.
I've iterated the list of relationships here: wordMLPackage.getMainDocumentPart().getRelationshipsPart().getRelationships().getRelationship()
And found the relationship ID of the hyperlink I want. I'm trying to use an XPath query: List<Object> results = wordMLPackage.getMainDocumentPart().getJAXBNodesViaXPath("//w:hyperlink[#r:id='rId11']", false);
But the list is empty. I also thought that it might need a refresh because I added the hyperlink at runtime so I tried with the refreshXMLFirst parameter set to true. On the off chance it wasn't a real node because it's an inner class of P, I also tried getJAXBAssociationsForXPath with the same parameters as above and that doesn't return anything.
Additionally, even XPath like "//w:hyperlink" fails to match anything.
I can see the hyperlinks in the XML if I unzip it after saving to a file, so I know the ID is right: <w:hyperlink r:id="rId11">
Is XPath the right way to find this? If it is, what am I doing wrong? If it's not, what should I be doing?
Thanks
XPathHyperlinkTest.java is a simple test case which works for me
You might be having problems because of JAXB, or possibly because of the specific way in which the binder is being set up in your case (do you start by opening an existing docx, or creating a new one?). Which docx4j version are you using?
Which JAXB implementation are you using? If its the Sun/Oracle implementation (the reference implementation, or the one included in their JDK/JRE), it might be this which is causing the problem, in which case you might try using MOXy instead.
An alternative to using XPath is to traverse the docx; see finders/ClassFinder.java
Try without namespace binding
List<Object> results = wordMLPackage.getMainDocumentPart().getJAXBNodesViaXPath("//*:hyperlink[#*:id='rId11']", false);
I'm trying to create a second invoice template and add another print invoice link so I can print a standard invoice but also print a 'internal' invoice copy with an 'Official Use' table in which can be filled out by staff on the print out.
I've found the template invoice.tpl and print_invoice.tpl in /basic/mail/orders/
created two new files called invoice.dirty.tpl and print_invoice_dirty.tpl and pasted the content of the original files in the new ones, changed the path and added the table I wanted.
I've managed to locate the code for the 'Print Invoice' link and duplicated that changing the href by adding _dirty to the original 'orders.print_invoice?' but when I try the link it opens the popup ok but I get a 404 error, i've checked the permissions and changed them to full but still it won't play ball...
it seemed quite simple and I expected it to work but obviously i'm missing something, any guidance would be appreciated.
Check controllers that bring data to this files, maybe there is the main problem.
What cs-cart version are you using?
You need to create also the mode > invoice_dirty and this can be added with the help of file order.post.php but before i can give you some instructions i need to know you cs-cart version
I am using two different datasets to populate datagridview my project using visual studio using vb.net. It is windows forms application which is used to display information from the database based on user inputs. Once the information is displayed the user can save the information into a table specifically created to store the report information in order for it to be recalled at a later date. I am now trying to recall this information so have created my dataset in the same way as before and am now trying to invoke a new occurrence of it and this is where the probelm begins. The code is below.
Dim dv2 As New System.Data.DataView
dv2 = New System.Data.DataView(DataSet2.Tables(0), "Status <> ''", "",
DataViewRowState.CurrentRows)
DataTable2TableAdapter.fill(DataSet2.DataTable2, f5.ComboBox2.SelectedValue)
I am getting two issues.
For DataSet2.Tables(0): Reference to a non-shared member requires an object reference
For DataTable2TableAdapter: ’DataTable2TableAdapter’ is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level.
I dont know why this is happening as I have written the same code here as for my previous data set other than changing the SQL statement behind the dataset at set up. Any thoughts would be welcome as I am totally out of ideas. All questions are welcomed.
Thanks
Try the following code to fix your error number 1....
Dim tablezero as System.Data.DataTable
'
tablezero = DataSet2.Tables(0)
The reason your getting the error is because you are trying to access an object (Table(0)) and it is not visible to the code that is trying to access it, if it was SHARED then it would be visible.
So you can resolve it by defining and object instance/reference to it and then accessing that reference, which in this case i have called "tablezero" (or by making table(0) SHARED - usually not the best bet unlessits neccesary - no point in having something accessible to the whole class it is declared in unless absolutelty neccessary)
It is quite possible the second error may dissapear after just fixing above, then again its difficult to tell without your code for Dataset2
Hope it helps.
I'm gonna take my chance at asking a question here because I really cannot find the root cause of this problem.
I'm working on a WSS 3.0 site, using SPD 2007 and I'm fairly new to Sharepoint development in general.
I'm customizing the DispForm.aspx page. The page is a simple edit page but at the end, I add a custom list form web part for adding comments (which are stored in another list) and below, a dataview for viewing the comments associated to the item displayed by the DispForm.aspx page.
What i want to do resembles the functionality displayed on this page, I inspired myself from it and you can in fact see my comments as the latest one :
http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/blogs/GetThePoint/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=209
Everything was working, until I delete all the comments i had made as a test. Now all i get from my Custom List Form is this "unable to display this web part error".
I've had a look at the logs, I understand what it is complaining about but i have no clue on how to fix it or even understand why there is such an error to begin with.

we're talking about a "new item" form, so i don't understand why I'm getting an error on GetItemById. What is it trying to get and how do i fix it?
Finally, I haven't changed the CAML query created by SPD. I did make change to the Comments list such as renaming or deleting unused columns but i don't think it is the cause of the problem because deleting the custom list form and recreating it didn't fix the issue.
Any clues as to where or what I should be looking at? I'm fresh out of ideas.
Thanks.
In Sharepoint Designer, Open the DispForm that you inserted the "Comments" custom list form into.
In Code view, find the DataFormWebPart for the list.
Locate the line <SharePoint:SPDataSource runat="server" DataSourceMode="ListItem" and change the DataSourceMode to DataSourceMode="List"
Inside of the ParameterBindings, find <ParameterBinding Name="ListItemId"..... and change it to <ParameterBinding Name="ListItemId" Location="None" DefaultValue="0"/>
I was running my project and was checking recently modified module. On click of the Menu tab it was giving me "java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException" and when I checked in the log I could find the following description:
JBO-25002: Definition com.project.view.pageDefs.pages_per_SearchPageDef
of type Form Binding Definition not found
oracle.jbo.NoDefException: JBO-25002: Definition com.project.view.pageDefs.pages_per_SearchPageDef
of type Form Binding Definition not found
What could be the problem?
You say you were checking "recently modified module". What modification did you make? Was it something which invalidated the business component definition? The documentation says this about JBO-25002:
"Provide a correct name for the business component definition. If the
definition is not in the classpath, you must include it there. Names
are of the format
myProjectPackage.BusinessPackage.BusinessComponent. This error can
also occur if there is a case conflict, as when the database expects
"DEPTNO" and receives "Deptno" instead."
I got this error after changing a query in my View Object. The change removed 3 columns but in the PageDef file the tree binding retained the old column names. I manually removed those column names to fix the problem.
