Google Developers Console API page not loading - google-api

In my Google Developers Console I cannot open APIs Page. Its shows Failed to load error and if i enable any other API using through links like (https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/autoscaler/#loadbalancingsetup) means it shows Server error. I tried to open the APIs page in different browsers and i have already waited 48 hours.!

My name is Nikita and I'm a representative of Google Cloud Platform Support. It looks like you were affected by a transient issue affecting a limited number of projects.
We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience it may caused.
For those encountering this again, please discard this being a browser issue (incognito without extensions) and feel free to report as a public issue here or, if you need to include any PII, as a private issue here.

Google Search Console verification fails on single site while many others had no issue

Interestingly, this is apparently the official way to reach Google API support? (...akin to Microsoft/SO's documentation partnership?) Interesting — but obviously this limits the private information that I can include in my "support request"...
I have added-then-verified 400+ domains (with each of their http/https/www/no-www variations, for 800+ total) on Google Search Console via the related API's, without issue.
One domain is giving me a problem with verification via 'HTML File Upload', even though it's triple-checked to be set-up the same as the other 825 that verified without issue.
I compared WHOIS and intodns.com DNS Health report and I also cleared the DNS Cache and waiting a couple days to see if it was a caching issue.

I've tried multiple verification methods, but this error persists on both the http:// and http://www. versions of the one site. The site itself works fine and I can't see any anomalies with it on my end.
I'm not sure if this could be related but the webmaster's site list, does include one strange property that is apparently verified (in addition to the two unverified versions of the problem domain):

How can I get my ownership of this site verified on Google Search Console?
You can verify your site ownership by the alternate method. By inserting HTML tag you can verify your ownership easily. From search console you will get the HTML Tag. The Other way is to verify the ownership is Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
HTML Tag Sample is: <meta name="google-site-verification" content="String_we_ask_for">

Can't scrape particular websites using Scrapinghub

I am using the autoscraping feature in the scrapinghub service.
While building and deploying the autoscraper, I found that the site I wanted to scrape would never return any Requests, and would time out around 3.5 minutes.
So, I began reading the documentation to see if I could figure out why this was happening (How to check if site is suitable for autoscraping).
I followed the steps and temporarily removed Javascript from my browser (chrome) and found that I had no problems viewing the site I wanted to scrape.
My question is, at risk of sounding vague, what might be some other reasons that a site is not scrapeable, aside from Javascript? Are there some other ideas regarding how to diagnose a problem like this?

Can I see server logs or something equivalent on AppHarbor?

I just pushed my app to appharbor. I don't need full-on google analytics (and I can't use it since mostly my app is about dynamically creating rss feeds) but would just like to get a general idea how often my site is being hit and the types of urls that people are hitting.
Normally I would just keep an eye on the severlog but that doesn't seem to be available on appharbor. How can I get something equivalent?
I recently turned on the logentries add-on available in Appharbor and it has been a godsend for solving some server-side errors on my asp mvc 3 app. Extending my code to log routing requests would be a simple few lines of code.

Google in-page analytics doesn't work in my ASP.NET MVC 3 Razor website

We've recently launched a new website http://atlascode.com and since the launch I've been unable to get in-page analytics working on the website. Google also claims that my tracking code is not working but I think this is a misnomer.
Whenever I attempt to load in-page analytics I receive the error:
We've identified problems in your setup. These may cause problems loading In-Page Analytics.
Your site doesn't load ga.js from Google.
If you host the Google tracking code on your own servers, it isn't updated automatically and can miss important changes.
We didn't find a tracking snippet on your site. In-Page Analytics cannot load. Please make sure you have tracking installed correctly. If your snippet is included in a separate JavaScript file, you'll have to manually check it is being loaded correctly.

I've simply copy and pasted the tracking code on to the website and haven't done anything out of the ordinary. I've also checked to make sure that under Web Property Settings my Web property name and default URL is atlascode.com.
Any ideas you guys have really would be welcomed.
EDIT: Added screenshot of Google Analytics error http://min.us/mdqlrhj
Thanks in advance

Well there's whole buncha people in the web complaining about the same issue.
I've noticed something funny.
Most of developers love to exclude Analytics tracking code for logged in administrators and trying to check out In-Page Analytics while they're logged in. So there's really no any ga.js.
In my experience, this occurred when I hadn't set my default URL to exactly match the URL set in the profile.
Matt
P.S. Someone beat me to your source!
Got the same problem on Magento Enterprise, but solution was pretty simple: GA code just need to be placed before <head> tags. After this simple fix In-Page tracking works perfectly.
Update
Also, be sure you have no framekiller installed in your site.

Facebook Connect XFBML not working

I'm making a website using Facebook Connect and decided to use Facebook's XFBML tags like "fb:profile-pic" since they are so easy to use.
I haven't been able to make them work no matter how hard I look online but then I noticed that it worked on all the browser's instead of Firefox.
I also realized that even on Facebook's own "The Run Around" sample app they don't work!! You can check it out here: http://www.somethingtoputhere.com/therunaround/index.php
If you log in with Firefox your picture is not shown, but if you use another browser it is shown. This happens with the fb:profile-pic tag or any other tag like fb:name.
I haven't found any information online so I'm asking other people that have worked with this: Are these tags simply not compatible with Firefox ? Do they have outages or something like that ? Has this happened to anyone before ? Any ideas on how to resolve this ?
I guess they do have "outages". I've spent the whole weekend trying to resolve this and now they post they had a problem and have resolved it.
From the Platform Live Status website:
http://developers.facebook.com/live_status.php#msg_497
We are experiencing a possible config
problem with api.connect.facebook.com.
If you are including Connect JS
library through
http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php,
all API requests through JavaScript
would fail. This affects rendering of
XFBML tags (such as fb:name and
fb:profile-pic) as well. While we are
fixing this issue, you can work around
the problem by changing
http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php
to
http://static.ak.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php.
It's also safe to keep url change
permanently because
connect.facebook.com is just an alias
to facebook.com.
I wish they had updated that sooner, now I'm looking for a place to find out about this stuff before I spend days working on something before realizing it's not a problem with my code!
Open up Firefox > Preferences > Privacy and make sure "Accept third party cookies" is checked. This is needed for Facebook Connect to work. Also, when using Connect, make sure all your tags are fully closed, i.e. <fb:profile-pic></fb:profile-pic> and not <fb:profile-pic/>. From the docs:
The user's browser must be set to
accept 3rd Party Cookies in order for
it to stay connected between clicks.
Source: http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Logging_In_And_Connecting
FWIW, I wouldn't use "the run around" as a sample app. That thing has been the same since they introduced Connect and is pretty hacky.
do check in connect section under the canvas option.
there should be a link of your physical file.
