Binary Packer Collection - portable-executable

does anybody knows where I can get a collection of PE Packers or Protectors (like: upx, ASProtect, Themida, etc)?

I wonder if anybody knows where can I find a collection for packers (not Unpackers)?

well, I finally found some collection for binary compressors and protectors.
here in Aaron' Homepage you can find a collection for Compressors, Protectors, File-Analyzers, Unpackers, Debuggers, Disassemblers, Hex-Editors, Patchers and son on.

Maya 'merge' the list of shapes, polyBridge, Extrudes etc

Couldn't come up with a good way of googling this..
I'm working on a 3d model in Maya and it's getting slow. At first I couldn't find what it was, but I'm suspecting it's all of the polyBrideEdge, pCubeShape and whatnot. Since I was duplicating one part and repeated that a couple times; there's quite a lot of them.

Nevermind, I found it! For anyone wondering: you select one of the nodes with the same type in your attribute editor and click 'hide'. This will group them together I suppose and name it 'polyUniteX'. It might not be the best way or the right way, but this has fixed any performance issues I had prior to doing this.

How to find the oldest link among turtles' links?

I need to find which link among turtle links is the oldest or newest , now I am using a property called , link-order which stores this value for each link and I find it using min-of my-out-links [link-order]
Is there any better way to do this? Without the need to have link-order attribute for all the links?
The only alternative I can think of would be to have a global list of all links, and whenever a link is created, stick it on the end (and remove any nobody entries that have accumulated because of links dying). Then the oldest link is always the first item in the list.
Your original idea seems fine to me too though — neither approach seems obviously superior to the other. I'd probably pick your idea just because it seems a little simpler and less error-prone to code.

Feature Extraction from Images to use with LIBSVM

I'm really stuck right now. I want to apply LIBSVM for Image Classification. I captured lots of Training-Images (BITMAP-Format), from which I want to extract features.
The Training-Images contain people who are lying on the floor. The classifier should decide if there is a person lying on the floor or not in the given Image.
I read lots of papers, documentary, guides and tutorials, but in none of them is documented how to get a LIBSVM-Package. The only thing that is described is how to convert a LIBSVM-Package from a CSV-File like this one: CSV-File. On the LIBSVM-Website several Example-Data can be downloaded. The Example-Data is either prepared as CSV-Files or as ready-to-use Training- and Testdata.
If you look at the Values which are in the CSV-File, the first column are the labels (lying person or not) and the other Values are the extracted features, but I still can't reconstruct how those values are achieved.
I don't know if it's that simple that nobody has to mention it, but I just can't get trough it, so if anybody knows how to perform the feature extraction from Images, please help me.

You need to do feature extraction first. There are many methods that are available. These include LBP,Gabor and many more.. These methods will help you get the features to input into libsvm..Hope this helps...

Generating table of contents

I posted this one a couple of months ago on the Mathematica newsgroup, but got no usable response. I thought I'd give SO a try.
The question was: I don't seem to be able to find the method to generate the table of contents of a
Mathematica document I'm working on. Anyone knows this feauture's
hideout?
David Annetts pointed me in the direction of the AuthorTools, an old v5.1
utility package that's still hidden in Mathematica. However, it
doesn't work on my document (v7). Any clue?

The TOC should contain correct section numbers (if present in the stylesheet) and list page numbers (this requires taking page size settings into account).
Perhaps looking at the code of Yuri Kandrashkin's package, Sidebar, will be useful?

Inline data representation

I would like to represent data that gives an overview but allows them to drill down in an inline fashion - so if you had a grouping of say 6 objects the user could expand the data and it would show the 6 objects immeadiately below it before any more high level data.
It would appear that MSHFlexgrid gives this ability but I can't find any information about actually using it, or what it's limitations are (can you have differing number of fields and/or can they have different spacing, what about column headers, indentation at for the start, etc).
I found this site, but the images are broken (in ie8 and ff3.5). Google searches show people just using the flat data representation but nothing using the hierarchical properties). Does anyone know any good tutorials or forums with a good discussion about pitfalls?
Due to lack of information about using it, I am thinking of coding my own version but if anyone has done work in this area I haven't found it - I would of thought it would be a natural wish for data representation. If someone has coded a version of this (any language) then I wouldn't mind reading about it - maybe my idea of how to do it wouldn't be the best way.
You might want to check out vbAccelerator. He has a Multi-Column Treeview control that sounds like what you may be looking for. He gives you the source and has some pretty decent samples.
