I am getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.codehaus.jettison.mapped.MappedXMLOutputFactory error while running mule application. I checked jettison-1.1.jar jar is already there in my application folder lib directory but still I am getting this error.
I am getting this error while initialising Spring batch job repository.

You need to add jettison.jar file to your project.

I'm trying to build this project from github:
https://github.com/tomakehurst/wiremock
The thing is, when I download it and run gradle build, I don't think all the required jar files are being loaded onto the class path. I get this error when I actually try to run the thing:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: joptsimple/OptionParser

at com.github.tomakehurst.wiremock.standalone.WireMockServerRunner.run(WireMockServerRunner.java:49)
at com.github.tomakehurst.wiremock.standalone.WireMockServerRunner.main(WireMockServerRunner.java:110)

at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:308)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:358)
... 3 more
What gives? Isn't grade supposed to have downloaded this dependency by itself?
Try to execute gradle clean build jarAll
See this github issue for reference
From what I see in the build code, the task jarAll handles the joptsimple classes (and various others)
when running the uncompress command from this page:
http://docs.codehaus.org/display/SONAR/Fortify+Plugin
I get the following error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/sonar/fortify/uncompress/CLI

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:247)
Could not find the main class: org.sonar.fortify.uncompress.CLI. Program will exit.
Has anyone else seen this issue and know how to get around it? I emailed fortify support about how to uncompress their bin files as well and they seemed surprised about this integration. any help will be appreciated.
I am trying to install Mondrian on my Mac OS X. I am facing the below error at step 12 of this guide
Command is as below :-
java -cp “/usr/local/tomcat/webapps/mondrian/WEB-INF/lib/mondrian.jar: /usr/local/tomcat/webapps/mondrian/WEB-INF/lib/log4j-1.2.9.jar: /usr/local/tomcat/webapps/mondrian/WEB-INF/lib/eigenbase-xom.jar: /usr/local/tomcat/webapps/mondrian/WEB-INF/lib/eigenbase-resgen.jar: /usr/local/tomcat/webapps/mondrian/WEB-INF/lib/eigenbase-properties.jar: /usr/local/tomcat/webapps/mondrian/WEB-INF/lib/mysql-connector-java-5.1.5-bin.jar” mondrian.test.loader.MondrianFoodMartLoader -verbose -tables -data -indexes -jdbcDrivers=com.mysql.jdbc.Driver -inputFile=/usr/local/mondrian/demo/FoodMartCreateData.sql -outputJdbcURL=”jdbc:mysql://localhost/foodmart?user=foodmart&password=foodmart”
The error is as below :-

Do you have log4j jar in your /usr/local/tomcat/webapps/mondrian/WEB-INF/lib/ folder? Cause the class loader id not able to find log4j that you have mentioned in your class path.
I have Hadoop and Zookeeper running w/o a problem but when I go to run $ACCUMULO_HOME/bin/accumulo init, this happens:

I can't see to find anything helpful.
This error occurs when trying to run from the source code without compiling it with Maven.
I assume this may have been resolved by now?
If not, looks like Accumulo has not been compiled correctly.
If your using the Binary Dist, run the following to compile.
mvn package -P assemble
I am using the org.apache.mahout.cf.taste.hadoop.pseudo.RecommenderJob.java file to run a pseudo distributed recommender. I am using it to run the GenericItemsRecommender class.
The command I am using is
bin/hadoop jar mahout-core-0.7-SNAPSHOT-job org.apache.mahout.cf.taste.hadoop.pesudo.RecommenderJob -Dmapred.input.dir=./ratingsLess.txt -Dmapred.output.dir=/input/output --tempDir /input/tmp --recommenderClassName org.apache.mahout.cf.taste.impl.recommender.GenericItemBasedRecommender
When I run it I get an Exception saying :

Could you please let me know why I am getting this error?
