Transaction timeout exception when using ehCache - spring

Question

I have ehCache configured in my application which depends on jtaTransaction

I tried including the property defaultTimeout as well but still running into transaction issues.

Resolved the issue by directly specifying the default Transaction timeout in ehcache.xml

Unsure on why the ehcache is not picking up the default value specified in the transaction bean.
