I am trying to integrate barryvdh/laravel-elfinder package for ckeditor, elfinder window is opening but error says 'unable to connect to backend'. I checked the request/response in firebug and found this url with response 500
http://testsite.dev/elfinder/connector?token=SYqcfRYmhiU4tdrrD883ESd3CznYKLhnnCZnGO4O&cmd=open&target=&init=1&tree=1&=1428933143824
i guess something is wrong with the connector config. I followed instructions from the github page with no luck. Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm trying to install/configure a theme in a new/clean Prestashop 1.6.1.11 installation. I was able to install/enable the theme, but when I try to view the page it comes back with a 500 error message.
I changed _PS_MODE_DEV_ to true in /config/defines.inc.php but still I only get:
The x.x.x.x page isn’t working
x.x.x.x is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500
It's not showing the error debug information so that I can troubleshoot.
Anywhere else where I need to enable this?
Thanks
You are not able to view the error even after enabling error debugging because the error is being generated before the error debugging is set to enabled. In order to debug your issues, you can check the error log on your server.
In case of Apache you can check following file:
/var/log/apache2/error.log
once i clicked on "Proceed to checkout" button, we are getting below error
The sitename.com is't working
www.sitename.co.nz is currently unable to handle this request
Http Error 500
even in backend when we open some orders, than also same error in order-view page.
we have shared hosting.
It was a problem with magento core file cc.php file , one of our devoloper edited it in wrong way, once i replaced the
original file, it worked fine.

Test scenario itself is correct. Seems like something is wrong with JVM. Any info messages in console after start?
Try with google IP instead of hostname to make sure that it's not a DNS issue.
Did you run it with any specific flags like -H or -P? Do you use proxy?
I just created a project over at codeplex and tried committing the sourcecode (so my project can be available publicly).
TortoiseSVN just doesn't work with CodePlex anymore it seems. And codeplex doesn't let you change source uploading options without contacting them first.
The errors in get when I try to checkout are:
Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'http://onthefly.codeplex.com'
The OPTIONS request returned invalid XML in the response: XML parse error at
line 1: no element found (https://onthefly.svn.codeplex.com/svn)
and
OPTIONS of 'http://onthefly.codeplex.com': could not connect to server
I tried the repo-browser just now and it still won't work.
Here's a screenshot of one of the errors:
Why are these errors happening?
You're not using the correct URL for repo. The correct URL is:
https://<projectname>.svn.codeplex.com/svn
I've got it working. Follow instructions on this page if you're having these same issues.
