I think you are not logged in as super admin and you don't have permission to view themes with your current profile. You can check your profile in Administration->Employees. And you can check your permission in "Administration->Permission".
If you do not have permission then contact your super admin and ask to give you permission to make changes theme section.
If you are already a super admin. And still you don't see it,Then try following things.
1) Then try renaming the new theme from themes folder directory.
2) If you have access to database goto ps_shop table and change 'id_theme' to 1.

Is it possible to install more than one themes in OpenCart?

I've googled and searched within the forum for an answer but couldn't find one. I'm new to Opencart and I'm just setting up my store. Is it possible to install more than 1 theme? I purchased 1 recently then purchased 1 today that I think will be better. Do I need to uninstall the first theme for the installation of new theme. If it is possible to have more than one themes in one opencart then please inform if any bugs or problems exists in this scenario.
You can just upload the new theme via FTP. Then go to System -> Settings -> Store Name and click the edit button.
On the 'Store' tab you should see 'Template' with a select menu, if you uploaded the theme correctly it will be listed there. Just select it and click the save button at top right.

Missing Moodle Admintration block in Afterburner

Please I changed my default theme to the Afterburner theme on my Bitnami Moodle 2.6 which in is installed on my laptop. My question is? Can any one help me find site administration Block? I cant find the site administration block again. How can I get it to show up and it cant how do I uninstall the Afterburner theme without site administration?
Try to change theme via direct link in administration panel: [moodle web path]/theme/index.php
Another way - simply delete "afterburner" folder from moodle "theme" directory (delete or move, not rename). Moodle automatically set another theme.

admin menus Joomla 3.3.1 disappeared

All admin menus in Joomla 3.3.1 suddenly disappeared!
I worked at the site's user groups and adjusted a little CSS using firebug, when I suddenly lost all admin menubar, buttons / content in the subheader and content in the header
None change in the core files and no errors are shown
You can see the image....
This is not a programming issue. It's hard to know which exact change created the problem but if you are playing with user groups most likely you accidently put yourself into a group which does not have permission to see the menu module . Go to the module manager (add index.php?option=com_modules to the admin url.) and change the settings on the admin menu module to public ... then check to make sure that your user group has permission to see "special."

opencart theme not changing

I installed opencart 1.5.6 on my localhost, and it's not possible for me to change the theme. The admin panel says the new theme is active, but the default theme always appears.
I made the same installation on a remote server, and everything is working well there.
I have no idea what's wrong on my localhost. I'm on a new installation on Ubuntu 12.4 with a default configuration for LAMP. I tried to compare the two phpinfo but there are so many things that are different that gives me no clue.
It was just a problem of rights on the theme folder. Very stupid ...
First, I would check your database to see if the change is registered. Use phpMyAdmin (or whatever included with your LAMP stack) and look at the "oc_setting" (prefix may differ) and see if the config_template is set to the template you've chosen via the admin. This will help identify if the issue is database related.
I have the solution, the ACTUAL solution. (For me anyway)
Extract the theme.
Login to your OpenCart website using FTP. Please read our article if
you need help using FTP.
Upload the catalog and images folders to the root of your OpenCart installation.
Once the upload is finished, log into your OpenCart Dashboard and go
to System > Settings
Choose your website from the list, check the box next to it, and select “Edit”
In the store tab you will now see your new theme option available under 'Template'
Click Save.
It has now been updated.
Many, many tutorials online at the moment incorrectly instruct people to upload their theme directly into the catalog > view > theme location as though it were a WordPress theme or similar. You actually need to put the appropriate resources where they need to be.

Pencil icon next to title doesn't appear in Joomla site

Hi i have a problem in a Joomla site that i am editor.
I cannot see the little pencil that allows me to change a Joomla site content when i log in.
I have the rights to change the content but it seems i cannot.
And another question....
How can i see my account settings on that site so i can change the editor? It did showed me the account settings but i cannot seem to see then anymore.
Ps. I do not have access to the administrator page of joomla they just made me editor on the site.
Thank you.
They'll have to give you access to the front end editor - ask your administrator. They may have it turned off.
If they gave you permission to see your profile page you may be able to set the editor...again that's an administrator question.
