Where does dotPeek store it's cache? - caching

I was using dotPeek and my connection dropped right when it was going online to get some code for a given class. So my router has supplied it with 500 gateway page and now whenever I try to look at the code for that class I instead get an html view of that router page i.e. its been cached.
The problem is there doesn't seem to be any way to clear it. I've deleted everything in AppData for JetBrains for both roaming and local but to no effect.
Where is the disassembly cache for dotPeek?

For me, version 1.2 stores in C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\JetBrains\dotPeek\v1.2\DecompilerCache

Well thank heavens for process monitor. It stores it's cache in a directory like so:
C:\Users\rism\AppData\Local\Symbols\src\source.NET\4\DEVDIV_TFS\Dev10\Releases\RTMRel\ndp\fx\src\xsp\System\Web\Routing\RouteCollection.cs

In the latest version (2017.1.2), it appears to be in:
C:\Users{username}\AppData\Local\Temp\DecompilationTemp

moving modx to new server - clear cache

I moved website to new server, domain stay the same, files structure stay the same, but path to public_html has beed changed. Database has been also moved.
I tried to clean cache, but i dont think I made it. This is error i get:
Could not find action file at: /home/account_name/domains/domain.co.uk/public_html/manager/controllers/default/welcome.php
account_name is different now.
I havent access to the old server, so I cant login and clear cache. I tried to do it using php script I found, but it didnt help.
Moving to new server documentation - there is welcome.php error and how to fix it, but since I haven't access to website from old server, I can't do it.
Also I can't login and clear cache in admin panel, because this message in when i wan get access to it.
I also change in db, in modx_workspaces->path from {core_path} to home/account_name/domains/domain.co.uk/publis_html/core, but didn't help.
How can i clear cache or if it's not the case, what should I do to make it work?
Update
I have change location in settings:
config.core.php
connectors/config.core.php
core/config/config.inc.php
manager/config.core.php
In .htaccess I couldn't find path to website, I didn't change anything.
I remove all content from core/cache/, except one file (.gitignore), and if I go to domain.co.uk/manager/ it's blank page, no content at all. And still can't log in.
Clear the cache on the new server manually VIA FTP or from a shell.
Change that modx_workspaces thing back
did you change all your settings in core/config/config.inc.php ?? if not do so, that is where you will set most of your paths & database credentials.
you have a backup? good!
Now upgrade to the same version of modx, that should fix all your path issues. [make sure you are not logged into the manager while trying to upgrade]
When moving the site to the new server rather watch two things:
the right paths into this files
/config.core.php
/core/config/config.inc.php
/connectors/config.core.php
/manager/config.core.php
the folder /core/cache/ is empty. They can be cleaned simply by removing the contents via ftp.
and correct the value in the database back to {core_path}

Failsave cant start jetty server because of missing http://jetty.mortbay.org/configure.dtd

i cant verify my webapp using maven-failsave because the web-jetty.xml referenced a missing dtd (http://jetty.mortbay.org/configure.dtd).
Any ideas? Can i disable the dtd-check?
Where can i get the content of http://jetty.mortbay.org/configure.dtd?
old one should work, I'll look into that, but you can also get it at:
http://www.eclipse.org/jetty/configure.dtd
[edit] An update on this:
We have a number of redirects in place as we try and keep the really old xml file doctypes valid. We recently wired up a redirect from jetty.codehaus.org to www.eclipse.org/jetty which has resulted in a number of validation errors on these old urls. This is being addressed but if it impacts you updating to www.eclipse.org/jetty/configure.dtd is the best solution so the redirect game is no longer played.

500 error when integrating multiple apps in one code base

I'm trying to set up an MVC application that will service several facebook applications for various clients. With help from Prabir's blog post I was able to set this up with v5.2.1 and it is working well, with one exception.
At first, I had only set up two "clients", one called DemoStore and the first client, ClientA. The application determines what client content and facebook settings to use based on the url. example canvasUrl: http://my_domain.com/client_name/
This works for ClientA, but for some reason when I try any DemoStore routes I get a 500 error. The error page points to an issue with the web.config.
Config Error:
Cannot add duplicate collection entry of type 'add' with unique key attribute 'name' set to 'facebookredirect.axd'
I am able to add additional clients with no problem, and changing DemoStore to something like "demo" while using the same facebook application settings works fine also.
Working calls:
http:// localhost:2888/ClientA/
http:// localhost:2888/ClientB/
http:// localhost:2888/Demo/
Failing call:
http:// localhost:2888/DemoStore/
I was thinking this might be an MVC issue, but the Config Error points to the facebookredirect handler. Why would the SDK try to add this value to the config during runtime, and only for this specific client?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
I managed to figure out what went wrong here. Silly mistake..
After I had set up the application routes to require the client_name I changed the Project Url in the project properties to point to demostore by default. When I hit ctrl+S a dialog popped up that I promptly entered through without reading.
When I changed the Project Url, IIS Express created a new virtual directory for the project. This was the source of my problem. Why? I'm not sure, but once I removed the second site from my applicationhost.config I was able to access the DemoStore routes.
Moral of the story: read the VS dialog messages!

Allowing Cross domain ajax calls from firefox

I want to change the settings of firefox so as to allow it to make cross domain ajax calls. Since due to the security feature of the firefox it doen't allow ajax calls to be made. I know if it is in same domain it will allow. I have a code given bellow which in safari works fine but firefox doesn't display the results when it calls csce server then since the code is on local machine doesn't allow it and returns error. I know it will start working if I load my this code to csce server but I want to run the code from my machine. So can anyone help me in resolving this. I have spent past couple of days just searching for this solution.
Kindly suggest how to achieve this or should I go with some older version of firefox?
I googled and set the parameters of browser in config file as specified in this site but it still doesn't work.

Maybe you could use privoxy and tell it to inject something like "Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *" in the server response.
To do this, you would have to go into the file user.filter (create it if it doesn't exist) in privoxys configuration directory and insert something like this:
SERVER-HEADER-FILTER: allow-crossdomain
s|Server: .*|Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *|
Instead of Server, you can also use any other header that's always present and you don't need.
And this into user.action:
{+server-header-filter{allow-crossdomain}}
csce.unl.edu
Note: I didn't test it.
https://developer.mozilla.org/En/HTTP_access_control
http://config.privoxy.org/user-manual/
This appears to enable XSS from file:// pages in Firefox 4, although it prompts you so might not be suitable for more than simple test pages:
netscape.security.PrivilegeManager.enablePrivilege("UniversalXPConnect");

Upload images problem: IO error. (Error #2038)

I'm using script which is uploading files to server via flash component. Sometimes, very rarely, when trying to upload images via Firefox I get following error: IO error #2038. Searching on the net I could find reason why is it really happening to me. But I found solution for my case:
I open IE6, do the same thing there (photos are always uploaded without problem) and the when I try again in Firefox problem disappears. If someone had similar problems maybe this could help or maybe this hint could help to someone discovering cause of the problem :)
I just had this error also using ASP.Net MVC and I discovered I just had my handler namespace wrong/missspellled in the web config section where the handlers go. HTH...
After far more time than I'd like to admit, here is the solution. Change the following variables in your php.ini to be large enough to handle your largest file:
; Maximum size of POST data that PHP will accept.
post_max_size = 32M
; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files.
upload_max_filesize = 32M
; Whether to allow HTTP file uploads. (this is on by default)
file_uploads = On
Since files are sent as POST data, both the first variables need to be set. Otherwise, there will be an error, but you won't see what the error is, except IO error #2038.
If you didn't add quote around the option names, try doing that. Sometimes in IE, quoting the option names fixes the issue. It would help if you posted some example code though.
Also make sure that the path to the server being used by the upload component is correct. If the path is a relative path, try to fully qualify it. IE can do some "magic" with relative paths that the other browsers cannot do, and sometimes trying the code from one browser to the other can tweak things.
Also, could be permissions...and having IE go there first could manipulate the permissions in a way that the other browser(s) then work "correctly".
I solved the problem.
In my office I use a proxy and I must change the settings to No Proxy.
Or if you do not use proxy, try to change in php.ini:
Hostname:Port localhost:0
to:
Hostname:Port localhost:80
