Nginx / Laravel multi tenancy SSL management

Working with a multi tenancy solution where users are to be allowed to set their custom domains - the solution works just fine. However, looking for suggestions on how to get the SSL installed on those custom domains and set them in Nginx so they are served via https route.
In theory, as soon as the user adds custom domain from the backend - SSL is to be installed once A record / CNAME is verified to be pointing correctly. We will be getting Letsencrypt SSL and need an approach on how to handle Ngnix config to provide SSL key to it can be served.
If anyone has produced a similar solution and can shed light on how to approach this, that will be great.
Thanks in advance.
You can solve it by manually issuing certificates using Let's Encrypt and then adding new NGINX config file for serving new domain
Or you can just switch from NGINX to Caddy and it will automatically do it for you! Also you could specify in your application route file a route for a domain whitelist check to prevent unauthenticated domain issues

masking heroku app from godaddy using cloudflare

I am trying to set up my herokupapp with my custom domain name from Godaddy. I hav gone through the process of getting it wokring using a cname through cloudflare.
Everything is working. However, when I go to my site at example.com my browser changes the url to example.herokuapp.com.
Going to: http://www.example.com/ and www.example.com do work
I don't want this obviously, what am I doing wrong?
Don't use an A record for your root domain. Heroku doesn't provide static IP addresses, so whatever value you put there won't be valid for long.
Since you're using CloudFlare you should be able to set up a CNAME for your apex domain just like you did for your www subdomain. CloudFlare has a feature called CNAME flattening that should make a CNAME on your root domain work as expected.
Regarding your comment that the www subdomain started working, that's typical of DNS changes. They take time to propagate. Give it some time.

Website redirect setting for https:// prefixed naked domain

I have a site registered on Google Domains and deployed on an Azure VM, HTTPS enforced via the IIS webconfig file. It all works fine, except for 1 piece:
https://mywebsite.com results in "this page cannot be displayed, mywebsite.com unexpectedly closed the connection."
https://www.mywebsite.com works fine, as does the unsecure naked domain redirect (http://mywebsite.com; it redirects to the https://www prefixed link, I have set this up this Permanent redirect in Google domains).
Given the above, what setting (on my Azure VM SSL binding, or Google Domains, more likely) could I change to make sure if someone types in https://mywebsite.com, they will reach it?
Thanks!
Do you have a binding listening on port 443 to mywebsite.com? This should solve the issue.
cheers

How to generate a www LetsEncrypt certificate using laravel forge?

I provisioned a server using forge and set the domain to blog.example.com. And I generate a LetsEncrypt certificate for that server and set the site to run on http2. It was perfectly fine.
However, I need to make the server accessible via www.blog.example.com now. So I set a CNAME record to route www.blog to blog.example.com. But I got an error This site can’t provide a secure connection when I try to access the site via www.blog.example.com. So I try to generate a new certificate for www.blog.example.com but forge reply First domain does not match root domain on site.
How can I solve the problem?
Thank you.

magento homepage can be accessed both by http and https

I'm trying to setup Let's encrypt SSL for a Magento website at
https://turbofun.no/
It shows SSL correctly. However, the problem is if i access it using
http://turbofun.no/
It shows normal page without https. I think it should automatically redirect viewer to https because it is homepage.
I read some topics about adding rewrite rules to redirect all http to https but i just want to use https on homepage, checkoutpage, customer login page.
Do you know what i missed in configuration? Thank you
