Can Xcode-beta identified as normal Xcode? - xcode

I want to test the Meteor iOS build feature with Xcode 7 Beta. Only the Xcode Beta version is installed on my machine, and the given Meteor terminal command says 'Xcode is not installed'. It is probably because the Beta is actually called 'xcode-beta'. Are there any ways, to solve this?
The command I stuck with:
meteor install-sdk ios

Nativescript: Error Building for iOS Simulator

I have followed the complete install guide for nativescript on a Mac (Big Sur). Also when running tns doctor everything seems fine. However, when i'am running tns build ios or tns run ios i get the following error:
error: Building for iOS Simulator, but the linked and embedded framework 'TNSWidgets.framework' was built for iOS + iOS Simulator. (in target 'projectapp' from project 'projectapp').
Could someone please tell me how to fix this. I installed nativescript 7.0.11 and
x-code 12.3
Yesterday with the Xcode update (12.3) I've got the same error, after seeing a lot of posts about this error the solution from Niko Dovidija IS THE CORRECT ONE.
My environment:
Xcode 12.3
iOS platform 6.5.3
Nativescript 6.7.8
In order to build the application in CLI update build.xconfig in iOS platform and add this line:
VALIDATE_WORKSPACE = YES
Posts about "similar" errors and didn't work for me.
Building for iOS simulator
Building for iOS simulator 'AFNetworking.framework'
So I just updated Xcode to 12.3 today, using nativescript 7.0.11 in my project and I got a simular issue. What worked for me was:
Open the platforms/ios folder using Xcode
Select "yourprojectname.xcodeproj" from the list
Select yourprojectname from the Targets
Expand Build Options and find Validate Workspace
Change to Yes
Rebuild the project
After that, I got a successful build.
Please note that I also needed to run ns platform clean ios command in order to make the build work after updating my Xcode to 12.3

Delphi: PAServer: Acquiring permission to support debugging...failed

Delphi 10.2.3 MacOS Mojave (which I'm regretting)
I had Xcode 10 and it didn't work with Delphi. I removed Xcode 10 and I installed Xcode 9.4.1 and its command tools.
The PAServer continues to give this message on startup:
Acquiring permission to support debugging...failed
Delphi hangs during the "Launching:" phase of deploying an iOS app.
Everything worked fine before I upgraded to Mohave and tried Xcode 10.
What's a guy got to do to get Delphi 10.2.3 to debug iOS apps with Xcode 9 on Mojave?
The following seems to work:
Start the PAServer in Terminal under root:
sudo ./paserver
or set permissions for dbkosx as follows:
sudo chown root dbkosx_25_0
sudo chmod u+s,g+x dbkosx_25_0
Assuming you are in the PAServer-19.0.app/Contents/MacOS/ folder. If not, then execute this first:
cd /Applications/PAServer-19.0.app/Contents/MacOS/
Here's what fixed it. I deployed a blank iOS app from Xcode. Then Delphi started deploying normally again, including stepping into the debugger.
I have no idea what magic Xcode did to clear the logjam.

Xcode 5.1 crashing after installing Xcode6-beta version

The application "Xcode5.1.1" can't be opened.
I use x-code 5.1 to build iOS apps, now when i installed x-code6 beta version to implement app with swift language then xcode 5.1 is not working. It is giving me such error-
I use to resolve problem with Xcode 4.6.3 crashing after installing xcode 6 beta but not found this useful for my case.
I have tried to restart machine but it is giving same error. I googled for it but not got useful stuff. Any help would be appreciated.
Try to select different "Command line tools" in the bottom of Xcode -> Preferences -> Locations.
You can do it in your working Xcode 6.
After trying more I found it useful
Restart your machine then it can work, if not like my case then try below command in your Terminal
sudo mv /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework{,-saved}
then again restart your machine then it will ask for installing few components of Xcode so allow it, then your Xcode 5.1.1 will work fine.

Can't install XCode 4.0 - 4.1 on MacOSX Lion

At first I was installed XCode 4.3. Then, I needed to install an older version of XCode, such as 4.1, to be able to test applications on the simulator iOS 4.1. The operating system MacOSX Lion.
At first I just tried to install XCode 4.1 in the folder Developer, like I did before. But as was to begin the installation I got an error message.
Then, I tried to uninstall XCode 4.3 Application of the folder by moving it to the Trash, and clearing. After rebooting, I tried again to install XCode 4.1 and got this problem again.
I tested it on another computer, which also was installed XCode 4.3, and encountered the same problem.
Maybe you know where to XCode 4.3 leaves their roots? I also cleaned the temp files using CleanMyMac.
Thank you.

How do i install additional packages for Xcode on OSX Lion to allow MacPorts to work

When I try and install MacPorts it complains
'Xcode is not installed, or was installed with UNIX Development (10.5+) or Command Line Support (10.4) deselected.'
I do have Xcode installed from the Appstore so I guess I just have to install these extra parts but how ?
Ive read a couple of questions on Stack Overflow about this but I think the answers must be outdated as they do notmake sense for me, I do not have an Xcode dmg I can reinstall from, and I can't see anything useful in /Developer either, or any preferences within Xcode itself.
I only want Xcode for the purposes of using Macports so I'm not familiar with it.
You probably got Xcode 4.1 from the Mac App Store. In that case, you haven't got Xcode 4.1 installed. However, you now have an Xcode installer in your Applications directory.
Spotlight should find it in any case.
The command line tools aren't included in the default install of Xcode anymore.
Goto the Xcode Preferences --> Downloads Pane --> click the Install button beside "Command Line Tools".
If you don't have Xcode installed you can get the command line tools separately as explained here..
http://osxdaily.com/2012/07/06/install-gcc-without-xcode-in-mac-os-x/
The App Store installs the XCode installer, not Xcode itself. The installer is in your applications folder. Run that.
Today, 16 Feb 2012, when I installed Xcode 4 from the App Store, there was no Setup. Just the app installed, because it was Xcode 4.3 !
Make sure that you install Xcode 4.2 with UNIX Devel. to MacPorts works!
To get the Xcode 4.2 go to https://developer.apple.com.
