With Visual Studio 2017 running under Windows is it possible to connect to MacOS to compile iOS part of the apps? How?
I think I cannot develop Windows Apps using Visual Studio 2017 for Mac so that option is out of question.
Thank you for your help.
Check out the setup and installation documentation. Basically you need to install Visual Studio for Mac on your Mac and Visual Studio 2017 in your virtual machine.
You then need to connect via the build agent (Visual Studio will show you how). This can all be done on the same machine if you are using a Mac.

I am trying to install Visual Studio Express 2015 for Windows Desktop on my 64 bit Windows 8.1 ASUS laptop. During the installation process, the installer gets stuck on Applying the Windows Software Development Kit. I have tried and tried several times to download and install but with no luck. I also made sure I had the latest windows updates that are required for the install, BTW. Please help.

I am using hp Envy m6 with AMD processor and 6GB RAM (Factory installed Windows 8.1 Professinal). I believe my PC meets the requirements specified by Microsoft. And I have enabled virtualization in the BIOS settings.

I have a problem, I installed Visual Studio 2013 with update 4 on my PC with Windows 8 OS. After installation, I rebooted the PC. During the reboot the PC says me: "Working on functions". After this, my system started to the bootscreen, but system stays on the bootscreen.
I am trying to install Visual Studio .NET on a Windows 7 64-bit computer. When I run the setup, I get this error message:
"Unable to install Visual Studio .NET on a 64-bit operating system."
Searching Google tells me other people have run into this, but I don't see any solutions. Has anyone found a way around this?
No, you can't install VS.NET on a 64-bit computer. You can install it on Windows 7 x86.
I was certain I saw claims that it worked on Windows 7 x64, but I've since become convinced that won't work.
If you really need it on a 64-bit computer, create a 32-bit virtual machine and install it there.
