Configured a Test Plan where I have checked the option 'Generate parent sample' in Transaction Controller, in order to get the stats of individual transactions. And ran the test on Non-GUI mode, but I get identical same values in all columns of Aggregate Report, such as; Average, Median, 90% Line, Min, Max, etc.
Is it because of the configuration I did in Transaction Controller or any other settings need to be configured in the jmeter.properties file?

It is absolutely expected assuming that your Transaction Controller ran once hence only one result is recorded. You will see the same output for any other singe sampler.
If you add more iterations on Thread Group level or via Loop Controller you should see differences.

Using JMeter 5.5, I recorded some webpage loads under Transaction controllers with the "Generate parent sample" checkbox being checked and I logically grouped them by action (like NavigateToHomePage, NavaigateToFAQPage etc).
When I run the test and generate the dashboard report, in the Statistics table, I see all samples results statistics grouped per Parent and children which is good, but they are visually displayed at the same level - Parent and children.
I would like to have a better insight to be able to tell which children belong to which parent samples.
Is there any way to visually display the children samples under the Parent samples in the statistics table of the JMeter dashboard report?
Example:
Parent sample NavigateToHomePage (Aggregated statistics at parent sample level):
Child sample a1 statistics
Child sample a2 statistics
Child sample a3 statistics
Parent sample NavaigateToFAQPage (Aggregated statistics at parent sample level):
Child sample b1 statistics
Child sample b2 statistics
Child sample b3 statistics

It's not possible, at least not with JMeter 5.5 and not out of the box.
You might want to inspect report-template folder (lives in "bin" folder of your JMeter installation) and implement the changes you need there (you will need to get familiarized with Apache FreeMarker)
In general I don't think you're doing the right stuff, from my very limited understanding of how JMeter works you're supposed to:
Apply Naming Policy so your sub-samplers would look like:
Transaction_Controller_Label-0
Transaction_Controller_Label-1
etc.
Export the transaction name(s) for the HTML Reporting Dashboard by generating appropriate value for the jmeter.reportgenerator.exporter.html.series_filter property
This way you will have only one "parent" transaction in the HTML report and proper calculation of throughput.
If having tree-like output for the top-level transactions and individual sub results is a must for you the fastest and the easiest way is using Backend Listener and coming up with a Grafana dashboard displaying what you need how you need, it would be way faster and easier than amending FreeMarker templates
Is there sum of all response times in JMeter HTML report?
I know JMeter produces excellent data like median etc, but there is need to have sum of all response times.
Is it possible to see it somehow?
JMeter's .jtl result files are normal CSV files so you can import it into MS Excel or equivalent and invoke SUM function on the elapsed column
If you have only one iteration and several requests - you can put all the requests under the Transaction Controller and it will report the cumulative execution time of all its children
It's possible to use Backend Listener so JMeter would send results to a database, once done you should be able to create a query in the DB or in Grafana to display the cumulative response time
I used option 2 from Dmitri's answer recently and it worked perfectly for me in JMeter 5.4.1.
In the Transaction Controller remember to click the "generate parent sample" tick box.
Then in the results tree and HTML dashboard, you will see individual response times for each call and a parent time for the controller.

It's not exactly what you are looking for, but one option is to generate the HTML report that will be configured to include the transactions of interest. This is done by updating the user.properties file for the following properties:
# This property is used by menu item "Export transactions for report"
# It is used to select which transactions by default will be exported

You can use the Transaction ControllerTransaction Controller to get consolidated time taken by the nested elements. Add a Transaction Controller as a parent element and set the flag Generate Parent Sample to get the overall time without the details of the nested elements.
By default JMeter stores all Samplers execution metrics into the .jtl results file
If you're not interested in some of the results you can remove them using Filter Results Tool (doesn't come with JMeter, needs to be installed using JMeter Plugins Manager)
I am new to JMeter and need your help with a problem.
I have 4 test scenarios and I need to run it with 30 users load with distribution as 30,10,30,30 percent. Out of 4 scenarios, 1 scenario create a customer ID and that ID is being used in the rest of the scenarios.TO test this, I have created a test data of customer ID's with my 1 scenarios and saved in a CSV file. Now my question is when I will run my test how would I handle the customer iD's generated at the run time and how to manage it with my test data which I have already created. Please help me.
With regards to reusing the data, generated in the runtime - you can extract the required data, i.e. customer ID using suitable JMeter Post-Processor and store it into a JMeter Variable. Once done the variable can be re-used in other scenarios. The process is known as correlation and there is a lot of information on implementation with examples over the web.
With regards to the distribution there are different approaches as well:
Throughput Controller
Switch Controller
Weighted Switch Controller
With regards to "manage test data you created" - you can read the values from a CSV file using CSV Data Set Config or __CSVRead() function
I am trying to compare the performance difference between DELETE batch sizes using JMeter.
I have a table which I populate with a large amount of test data. Next, I have a JDBC Request that runs the following statement:
delete from tbl where (entry_dt < '2019-02-01') and (rownum <= 10000);
I want to keep running this until the table is empty, and record the time taken to clear the table.
I will run this thread multiple times to get an average execution time, and repeat this process for different batch sizes.
How should I define my While Controller to achieve this?
I read from other sites that I can use a Transaction Controller to time my process, but I am not familiar with this feature. How should I define my Transaction Controller to achieve this?
Add Transaction Controller to be a top level test element under the Thread Group
Add While Controller as a child of the Transaction Controller and use the following condition expression:
${__jexl3(${count_1} > 0,)}
Put your JDBC Request sampler as a child of the While Controller
Add JDBC PostProcessor as a child of the JDBC Request sampler and configure it like:
That's it, While Controller will iterate until there are entries in the tbl table and the Transaction Controller will record the cumulative time of all JDBC Request samplers executed.
I would do it this way:
Use the "JDBC Request - Get Count" sampler to get the data from the db which has to be deleted
Use a BeanShell Assertion to check if there is more data that can be deleted. Otherwise stop the thread
Execute the request to delete the data
Thread Group should stop Test on error
