Looks like the lower portion of my LCD is trying to readjust its height.
This doesn't show up if I record the screen. It seems to only appear when displaying certain kinds of graphics... like the dark UIs of Blender and Adobe Illustrator. It also shows up if I play back a video of these troublesome GUIs in fullscreen!
What could be causing this?
EDIT: Fixed by moving the image up when the problem occurs.

It looks like your monitor is adjusting the screen to fit what it is being shown. It is probably a configuration problem. You should set it to "just scan" or whichever is the equivalent on your monitor.

I'm using Indesign to create a multiple pages pdf, I have a background image across two pages, when I export the pdf the background seems not joining well over the two pages even if this image is one unique image.
I've made PDF from your layout (I didn't move anything, I just added the .25pt lines) and I see no problem:
It looks like the problem with the PDF viewer you're using (Acrobat?). Though my Acrobat shows no problem as well, the page edges perfect match to each other.
Try to open these pages of your PDF in Illustrator and to align them manually.

why conky duplicates the display after every minute as the picture
This looks like a common issue with Conky and graphics. You can try enabling double buffering:
# Use double buffering (reduces flicker, may not work for everyone)
double_buffer yes
or fiddling around with the own_window, own_window_type, and own_window_transparent settings.
I solved the problem by own_window_type normal
in the file ~/.conky

How to turn slides of Power Point into .jpg pics? Is there any such function in ppt? If yes, how can I get to it? Perhaps, not .jpg, but I need to turn slides into pictures. How can I do that?
Open the PowerPoint, go to Save As and choose Other Formats. In the Save as type, choose JPG. Should work.
Use a program such as http://www.picpick.org/en/ to take screenshots of your slides.

I would like to hear any practical uses of Digital Zoom.
I only see disadvantages of it like:
When enabled the quality drops
When enabled camera gets very sensitive so blurs
When enabled it's useless
I see it only as a way to crop the image but that can be done in software later and with better view of an image as well as you can select the part which you would like to crop.
So anyone, please state any useful example of digital zoom :)
I am curious to know.
It's a convenience feature for people who are not very intimate with digital image processing. And, in addition, the "zoomed" (cropped) image does not require as much disk space.
