How to add jar using maven on existing project? - spring

Question

i'm learning java + hibernate, i download a project(CRUD), and i'm going to add login feature to that, i'm adding a class which has these import statement
import org.springframework.security.core.GrantedAuthority;
import org.springframework.security.core.authority.SimpleGrantedAuthority;
import org.springframework.security.core.userdetails.User;
import org.springframework.security.core.userdetails.UserDetails;
import org.springframework.security.core.userdetails.UserDetailsService;

but it seems the existing project don't have spring security java, here is the pom.xml

So, how can i add spring framework security to the project?

Add below dependency in your pom.xml.

</dependency>
Though Maven automatically download the jars and source code of the dependencies mentioned in pom.xml but is good to add below plugin in pom.xml:
