Updating canvas without hovering - html5-canvas

I'm making something like MS Paint using jCanvas library. I've put a button OUTSIDE the canvas. The button rotates the selected layer clockwise but I can't see any change unless I hover the canvas with mouse. I want the layer to be rotated by the time I press the button.
I tried using restoreCanvas() function but it didnt't work. How can I make a canvas automatically refreshed when a button out of it is pressed?
Sorry for bad English.

Solved. This function refreshes the canvas: $('canvas').drawLayers();

How to webgl detach transform control when click another range not transform control

I'm developing webgl graphics with three.js
While I developing, I'm facing something stuck.
I'm trying to detach transform control when I click another range(ex, grid or another objects) not transform control.
I implemented it by checking clicked position.
For example, I set event handler with mouse down and in there, I store that mouse position. Also I set event handler with mouse up and in there, I compare mouse positions both mouse down and mouse up. If two positions are same, I detach the transform controller. However with this implementation, transform controller was disappeared though I clicked transform controller.
I just wanna detach transform control when I click another position not transform control
Does anyone help me please with this issue?
Thank you in advance.

Unity UI Button not calling the Onclick method

I have a button under a canvas that is suppose to restart the scene. But instead its not calling the intended function of attached script.
On Unity Forums, I found solutions like it should be at higher hierarchy in canvas, and the canvas should have a graphic raycast and so-on.
But it still isn't working, although its on click array detects the intended method it is suppose to call.
Scene Editor with Canvas Selected:
Scene Editor with Button Selected:
Remove the canvas component from your button.
Make sure that there is a GraphicRaycaster on your canvas, and that there is an EventSystem object somewhere in the hierarchy.
(Both should have been added when you first added the canvas, but things get lost)
The screenshot that shows your button being selected, also shows, that you did pick a gameobject for the OnClick event, but you didn't pick a function from the drop down right next to that field, it says no function.
Instead of selecting the C# class, select the GameObject that
btnSceneSelect is attached to.
If btnSceneSelect is not attached to a GameObject, attach it to one
(other than the button).

Highslide: Shrink image back when clicking in outer area

The only thing which I disklike whith highslide is the fact that when I click a thumbnail and it gets bigger I only can shrink it back when I click exactly in the image area.
Is it possible to shrink the image back when clicking outside the image area?
(and optional also shrink it back when I hover outside the image with the mouse cursor?)
Thanks
If you use a dimming background (hs.dimmingOpacity=0.7, for example), clicking outside the image area will close the expander. This requires highslide-full.js. If you don't want a dimming background, just set the opacity to a tiny value, like hs.dimmingOpacity=0.01.
It might be possible to include an onAfterExpand event to close the expander when you hover outside the image, but I think I can guarantee that you wouldn't like it. If a visitor clicked on a thumbnail, but didn't just happen to have his mouse over the image when it opened, it would immediately close again. That would be very frustrating behavior for the site visitor.

visualworks - how to redraw image?

I have GUI with images displaying, but when I minimize or move an applciation window, the image is remvoed....how do I call it back, or how to prevent it? somehow redraw of an widget destroys it?
you could press the middle mouse-key in order to open a menu where you can click on refresh. This should refresh your window and redraw everything in there. You can use it to debug when your image is drawn and maybe find out why you don't see anything.
But in general a little more information would be neat.

Gtk/GtkD Detect release of mouse button on window resize?

I'm trying to improve a plotting library that I wrote with GtkD (the D bindings for Gtk). Scatter plots with a lot of points take a long time to resize. I want to rescale the image, allowing pixelation, while the user is dragging the window edge to resize, and only re-render it when the mouse button is released.
Is there an API to detect whether the user is still holding down the mouse button to drag the window edge when a window is being resized? If you are not familiar with GtkD, a response in terms of the C Gtk API would still be appreciated.
you can add a 500 millisecond timeout to the redraw (resetting the timer on each resize event) this allows a user to see a preview while dragging
