Spring Boot Throws No plugin for the attached pom.xml - spring-boot

Question

Spring Boot throws the exception - No plugin found for prefix 'springboot' in the current project and in the plugin groups [org.apache.maven.plugins, org.codehaus.mojo] available from the repositories [local ...."
