This is the code for the line chart which has drag function to highlight some data. I would like to get the datasource information in the dragEnd event,currently I am just getting screenX and screenY values.
function createChart(data) {
$("#TimeSeriesPlot").kendoChart({
title: {
text: series_name.toUpperCase()
},
dataSource :{
data:data.timeseries,
},
series: [{
type: "line",
field:"v",
categoryField:"ts",
}],
valueAxis: {
labels: {
format: "{0}"
},title:{
text: "value"
},
line: {
visible: false
},
},
categoryAxis: {
labels: {
type: "date",
},
tooltip: {
visible: true,
// shared:true,
template: "${category} - ${value}"
},
plotAreaClick: onPlotAreaClick,
seriesClick:onSeriesClick ,
dragStart:onDragStart ,
drag:onDrag,
dragEnd:onDragEnd
});
}
}
function onSeriesHover(e) {
console.log(kendo.format("Series hover :: {0} ({1}): {2}",
e.series.name, e.category, e.value));
}
function onSeriesClick(e){
// console.log(selected_anamolies);
// console.log(e.category);
selected_anamolies.push("ts",e.category);
selected_anamolies.push("v",e.value);
}
function onDragStart(e){
// console.log("dragstart"+e.axisRanges.ts);
// console.log("dragstart"+e.sender._highlight._points[0].value);
// console.log("dragstart"+e.sender._highlight._points[0].category);
}
function onDrag(e){
var Rect = kendo.geometry.Rect;
var draw = kendo.drawing;
prevloc=e.originalEvent.x.startLocation;
currentloc=e.originalEvent.x.location;
var rect=new Rect([prevloc,50],[currentloc-prevloc,150]);
var path = draw.Path.fromRect(rect,{ stroke: null,fill:{color:"#d3f1fb",opacity:0.2}});
var chart = e.sender;
// var surface = draw.Surface.create($("#surface"));
chart.surface.draw(path);
//
}
function onDragEnd(e){
console.log(dragEnd)
}

I am developing a chart on Kendo-UI, where we need to plot a vertical line w.r.t dates available on the x-axis. The challenge, that I am facing is my x-axis contains BaseUnit: months. when I am plotting bands w.r.t two different dates in the same month, the system generates vertical line but captures a complete month section rather than plotting two different lines in the same month.
Sample Code:
var DateRange = [];
var PlotData = [];
var AllData = [];
function BindDates() {
for (var startmonth = 01; startmonth <= 12; startmonth++) {
for (var startday = 01; startday <= 30; startday++) {
DateRange.push(new Date("2019/" + startmonth + "/" + startday));
AllData.push(Math.floor((Math.random() * startday) * new Date().getMilliseconds()));
}
for (var Initial = 1; Initial <= 3; Initial++) {
var data = null;
if (Initial == 1) {
data = { from: new Date("2019/02/03"), to: new Date("2019/02/03"), color: "red", width: 0.1 };
}
else if (Initial == 2) {
data = { from: new Date("2019/05/03"), to: new Date("2019/05/03"), color: "green", width: 0.1 };
}
else if (Initial == 3) {
data = { from: new Date("2019/06/03"), to: new Date("2019/06/03"), color: "black", width: 0.1 };
}
PlotData.push(data);
}

I am a student studying vue.
I used Vue-chartjs to draw a graph, and I'd like to display the value on a pie graph.
But I don't know what to do.
Please help me...

As The dicusstion on tooltip of chart.js at Stackoverflow, uses plugin is one solution.
then as Vue chart.js guide said,
in mounted(), uses this.addPlugin to add your plugin like below demo:
Vue.config.productionTip = false
//below plugin is copied from https://stackoverflow.com/a/37989832/5665870
let pluginConfig = {
id: 'my-plugin',
beforeRender: function (chart) {
if (chart.config.options.showAllTooltips) {
// create an array of tooltips
// we can't use the chart tooltip because there is only one tooltip per chart
chart.pluginTooltips = [];
chart.config.data.datasets.forEach(function (dataset, i) {
chart.getDatasetMeta(i).data.forEach(function (sector, j) {
chart.pluginTooltips.push(new Chart.Tooltip({
_chart: chart.chart,
_chartInstance: chart,
_data: chart.data,
_options: chart.options.tooltips,
_active: [sector]
}, chart));
});
});
// turn off normal tooltips
chart.options.tooltips.enabled = false;
}
},
afterDraw: function (chart, easing) {
if (chart.config.options.showAllTooltips) {
// we don't want the permanent tooltips to animate, so don't do anything till the animation runs atleast once
if (!chart.allTooltipsOnce) {
if (easing !== 1)
return;
chart.allTooltipsOnce = true;
}
// turn on tooltips
chart.options.tooltips.enabled = true;
Chart.helpers.each(chart.pluginTooltips, function (tooltip) {
tooltip.initialize();
tooltip.update();
// we don't actually need this since we are not animating tooltips
tooltip.pivot();
tooltip.transition(easing).draw();
});
chart.options.tooltips.enabled = false;
}
}
}
Vue.component('pie-chart', {
extends : VueChartJs.Pie,
props: ['data', 'options'],
mounted(){
this.addPlugin(pluginConfig);
this.renderPieChart();
},
computed: {
attendanceData : function(){
return this.data

enter image description hereenter image description hereAm using Echarts on this project .Everything works fine but my stacked bar charts arent working as expected after a scale rendering which increases the x-axis scale .The bars move out of the x-axis as indicated on the screenshot.
here is my code down here
$scope.$watch(attrs.eData, function (newValue, oldValue, scope) {
var legend = [],
sData = [],
data = newValue,
chartName = '';
series = newValue;
var totalSubtitle = 0;
angular.forEach(data, function (val) {
legend.push(val.name);
});
option = {
name: seriesName,
title: {
text: '',
subtext: totalSubtitle,
x: 'center'
},
tooltip: {
trigger: 'item',
axisPointer: {
type: 'shadow'
}
},
xAxis: {
type: 'value',
min: 0,
axisTick: {
show: true
},
axisTick: {
alignWithLabel: false
}
},
yAxis: {
type: 'category',
scale: true,
data: [seriesName],
max: 100,
min: 100,
axisTick: {
show: false
}
},
legend: {
orient: 'horizontal',
bottom: -29,
order: true,
data: legend
},
series: series
};
myChart.setOption(option);
}, true);
$scope.$watch(attrs.eOptions, function (newValue, oldValue) {
option.title.text = newValue.title.text;
option.title.subtext = newValue.title.subtext;
angular.forEach(newValue.series, function (val) {
seriesName = val.name;
});
myChart.setOption(option);
}, true);
myChart.on('click', function (params) {
$scope.SliceSelected(params);
});
$window.onresize = function () {
myChart.resize();
};
}
};
I got some points from your code this may help you out in this issue.
xAxis: {
type: 'value',
min: 0,
axisTick: {
show: true
},
axisTick: {
alignWithLabel: false
}
}
In the above mentioned code axisTick repeated two times
And change the "xAxis" type to "category" and "yAxis" type to "value".
Hope this will fix your issues
I have grid with drag&drop functionality:
var data = [
{ id: 1, text: "text 1", position: 0 },
{ id: 2, text: "text 2", position: 1 },
{ id: 3, text: "text 3", position: 2 }
]
var dataSource = new kendo.data.DataSource({
data: data,
schema: {
model: {
id: "id",
fields: {
id: { type: "number" },
text: { type: "string" },
position: { type: "number" }
}
}
}
});
var grid = $("#grid").kendoGrid({
dataSource: dataSource,
scrollable: false,
columns: ["id", "text", "position"]
}).data("kendoGrid");
grid.table.kendoDraggable({
filter: "tbody > tr",
group: "gridGroup",
threshold: 100,
hint: function(e) {
return $('<div class="k-grid k-widget"><table><tbody><tr>' + e.html() + '</tr></tbody></table></div>');
}
});
grid.table.kendoDropTarget({
group: "gridGroup",
drop: function(e) {
e.draggable.hint.hide();
var target = dataSource.getByUid($(e.draggable.currentTarget).data("uid")),
dest = $(document.elementFromPoint(e.clientX, e.clientY));
if (dest.is("th")) {
return;
}
dest = dataSource.getByUid(dest.parent().data("uid"));
//not on same item
if (target.get("id") !== dest.get("id")) {
//reorder the items
var tmp = target.get("position");
target.set("position", dest.get("position"));
dest.set("position", tmp);
dataSource.sort({ field: "position", dir: "asc" });
}
}
});
(working example: http://jsfiddle.net/JBeQn/ )
Is it possible to show the placeholder where the row will be dropped? From current implementation it's not obvious. So I would like to make something like this:
http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/sortable/events
or this:
http://jsfiddle.net/bgrins/tzYbU/
In the demo above placeholder is showed and it's quite easy to understand where the row will be dropped.
So any ideas?
I am using a Kendo UI grid, which looks like this:
function refreshGrid()
{
$(".k-pager-refresh.k-link").click();
}
var editWindow;
var fields= {FullName: {type: "string"}, Email: {type: "string"}, LogCreateDate: {type: "date"}};
var gridColumns =
[{
width: 90,
command: {
name: "edit",
text: "Edit",
click: function(e) {
var dataItem = this.dataItem($(e.currentTarget).closest("tr"));
editWindow = $("#edit").kendoWindow({
title: "Edit User",
modal: true,
visible: false,
resizable: false,
width: 800,
height: 400,
content: 'myediturl' + dataItem.ID
});
editWindow.data("kendoWindow").center().open();
return false;
}
}
},
{
width: 90,
command: {
name: "delete",
text: "Delete",
click: function(e) {
//alert(this.dataItem($(e.currentTarget).closest("tr")).ID);
var id = this.dataItem($(e.currentTarget).closest("tr")).ID;
if (confirm("Are you sure you want to delete this user?"))
{
$.ajax({
type: 'POST',
url: '#Url.Action("deleteuser","admin",null, "http")' + "/" + this.dataItem($(e.currentTarget).closest("tr")).ID,
success: function (param) { refreshGrid(); },
async: false
});
}
return false;
}
}
},
{
field: "FullName",
title: "Full Name",
type: "string"
},
{
field: "Email",
title: "Email",
type: "string"
},
{
field: "LogCreateDate",
title: "Created",
type: "date",
template: '#= kendo.toString(LogCreateDate,"MM/dd/yyyy") #'
}];
//getSorts the columns of the grid
function getColumns() {
//Parsing the set of columns into a more digestable form
var columns = "";
for (var col in gridColumns) {
if (!!gridColumns[col].field)
{
if (columns.length > 0) {
columns += ";";
}
columns += gridColumns[col].field + "," + gridColumns[col].type;
}
}
return columns;
}
function getSorts(sortObject) {
if (!(sortObject)) {
return "";
}
//Getting the row sort object
var arr = sortObject;
if ((arr) && (arr.length == 0)) {
return "";
}
//Parsing the sort object into a more digestable form
var columnSet = getColumns();
var returnValue = "";
for (var index in arr) {
var type = "";
for (var col in gridColumns) {
if (gridColumns[col].field === arr[index].field) {
type = gridColumns[col].type;
}
}
returnValue += ((returnValue.length > 0) ? (";") : ("")) + arr[index].field + "," + (arr[index].dir === "asc") + "," + type;
}
return returnValue;
}
var grid;
$(function () {
$("#grid").kendoGrid({
dataSource: {
transport: {
read: {
url: "mydatasourceurl",
type: "POST",
},
parameterMap: function (data, type) {
data.filters = JSON.stringify(data.filter);
data.columns = JSON.stringify(getColumns());
data.sorts = JSON.stringify(getSorts(data.sort));
console.log(data);
return data;
}
},
schema: {
fields: fields,
data: "Data",
total: "Total"
},
pageSize: 10,
serverPaging: true,
serverFiltering: true,
serverSorting: true
},
toolbar: [{
name: "Add",
text: "Add new record",
click: function(e){console.log("foo"); return false;}
}],
height: 392,
groupable: false,
sortable: true,
filterable: true,
pageable: {
refresh: true,
pageSizes: true
},
columns: gridColumns
});
grid = $("#grid").data("kendoGrid");
});
My create toolbar action is not triggered on click. How can I resolve this problem, is Kendo UI able to handle toolbar click events? The best solution I came up with looks like this:
$(".k-button.k-button-icontext.k-grid-add").click(function () {
//If the window doesn't exist yet, we create and initialize it
if (!grids[gridContainerID].addWindow.data("kendoWindow")) {
grids[gridContainerID].addWindow.kendoWindow({
title: "Add " + entityName,
width: "60%",
height: "60%",
close: onClose,
open: onAddOpen,
content: addUrl
});
}
//Otherwise we just open it
else {
grids[gridContainerID].addWindow.data("kendoWindow").open();
}
//Centralizing and refreshing to prepare the layout
grids[gridContainerID].addWindow.data("kendoWindow").center();
grids[gridContainerID].addWindow.data("kendoWindow").refresh();
return false;
});
Thanks in advance.
Instead of using that complex selector use the one that Kendo UI creates from name:
toolbar: [
{
name: "Add",
text: "Add new record",
click: function(e){console.log("foo"); return false;}
}
],
and then:
$(".k-grid-Add", "#grid").bind("click", function (ev) {
// your code
alert("Hello");
});
In kendogrid docs here shows that there is no click configuration for grid toolbar buttons like grid.colums.commands.
To solve this problem you can reference following steps:
create a template for toolbar
<script id="grid_toolbar" type="text/x-kendo-template">
<button class="k-button" id="grid_toolbar_queryBtn">Query</button>
</script>
apply tempate to toolbar
toolbar:[{text:"",template: kendo.template($("#grid_toolbar").html())}]
add event listener to button
$("#grid_toolbar_queryBtn").click(function(e) {
console.log("[DEBUG MESSAGE] ", "query button clicked!");
});
