Converting to latest swift syntax broke app - xcode

When I opened XCode it asked me to convert to latest swift syntax and I pressed "Convert". I suddenly had 70+ errors while the app used to work perfectly.. I already tried the clean option but the errors still show up. How can I fix this? Is there a way to restore it?

What does "cacheParamsComputed" mean in Swift 4?

I just upgraded one of my macOS app written in Swift 3 to Swift 4, and got the following warnings:
'cacheParamsComptued' is depreacated
'keepCacheWindow' is deprecated
However, even if I tapped on the triangle icon nothing changed in Xcode.
What does this warning mean and how can I fix it?
I encountered this. Simply cleaning the project (Shift-Command-K) and rebuilding (Command-B) made it go away.

Quitting Xcode 8 and reopening it breaks constraints in my Xib file

encountering a very frustrating issue. I have a Xib file for my custom UITableViewCell. I set the constraints up and there are no warning or issues and the app runs fine. However if I close the Xcode and reopen it they are set to different values and the entire view is broken.
There seems to be no way to fix this, even if I reset to a previous commit the view remains broken. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a fix?
Please try Xcode 8.1 which addresses the following:
Xcode 8.0 did not always restore view frames from storyboards and xibs when layouts were ambiguous. Xcode 8.1 fixes several of these issues. If you have encountered these issues, resolve the ambiguity in the Auto Layout issues and update frames. Xcode 8.1 will persist them correctly. (28221021, 28244619)

Xcode 6.3 freezes when I quit the Main.storyboard

I'm experiencing a very strange error: my Xcode is freezing when I quit a certain storyboard of a certain project.
When i open Xcode, the xib shows up normally, I can even edit it and save it. But when I'm trying to open another file, any other file, it freezes forever.
I tried to delete every temporary files as described here, or here, or here, but the problem still remains. Ah, and... re-create my xib is obviously not an option...
Any other idea?
EDIT:
When I delete myProject/[project.xcworkspace/]xcuserdata (s), I can navigate in my project as usual while I don't open the storyboard. otherwise my problem comes again.
Since my post about this problem, I saw it on other projects. I'm pretty sure this was linked to custom fonts in xib, because it often happened after an Xcode bug rendering custom fonts.
Few days ago I downloaded the last Xcode version, 6.3.2, and the problem did not bother me again. So it seems to be resolved.

Workaround for adding localization to new file in Beta Xcode 6.3

does anyone know of a work around for this issue?
When trying to localize the 'Localizable.strings' file after choosing for which language the file should be set, nothing happens :(.
I tried it a few times with no success.
But when I close my project, reopen it in Xcode 6.2 and do the same action in there... Xcode adds the localization for the selected languages without any problem.
I know it is a bug for the Beta release of Xcode, but I would appreciate a working workaround for this.
thx
Seems to be fixed in version 6.3 of Xcode

How to disable Xcode 5 Source Control from terminal / command line?

I am using Xcode 5.0.2 and yesterday I did nothing special but used its source control function to check out and update from svn.
Today, Xcode continues crashing over and over again when it launches. I googled a solution that is disabling the source control in Xcode's Preference.
But since it crashes when it launches, I don't have change to go into the Preference Panel to do the operations.
So is there command that I can do in Terminal to disable the source control of Xcode?
!!!UPDATE:
actually this is not the real problem I ran into. I thought my Xcode crash because of the source control issue. So I send this post and got an answer quickly. Thanks #zzyclark .
But after I did as the post in the link said, my Xcode still crash. I've used other way and got the problem done.
I am gonna keep this post for the people who really want to disable Xcode source control in Terminal.
But if the admin think this is not the propriety. You could delete this post.
rather than close it in terminal, can u check this. This is used to disable the version control of xcode 4 by modifying the file name extension. Can you disable version control integration in Xcode 4
