I am trying to integrate a springProject having different applicationContext (BeanLocation.xml) to a web project having another applicationContext. But I am unable to do so while deploying my web application. I am getting the following error.
SEVERE: Context initialization failed

I have tried all possible combination to import BeanLocation.xml but in vain.
I help me to find my mistake, I gone through various post in stackoverflow to integrate different applicationContext but I am unable to fix this problem. I am also attaching some of the screen shots of my project.
Make sure you have BeanLocations.xml file under src/main/resources/spring/config folder of your project, and edit the import resource tag as:
<import resource="classpath*:/spring/config/BeanLocations.xml"/>
or else if it is in same folder where your applicationContext file, then edit the import tag as follows:
<import resource="BeanLocations.xml"/>

When i run the application it only gives Whitelabel Error Page. What i am missing?
Having recently upgraded to JSF 2.3 from 2.2, I noticed that #ManagedBean was deprecated, and after some research found that I should be using CDI-1.2 managed beans and the #Named annotation.
However after changing over to #Named, the JSF pages can't find the managed bean:
javax.servlet.ServletException: /index.xhtml #38,38 value="#{controller.telstraPass}": Target Unreachable, identifier 'controller' resolved to null
I am using Maven, eclipse and WebSphere Application Server liberty v16.0.0.4
No Idea what I am doing wrong, here are the relevant files:

I also have an empty beans.xml file in my WEB-INF folder with my web.xml and faces-config.xml.
As far as I can see I have done everything right, I have no competing implementations of JSF or CDI, and am not using any of the scopes from the JSF packages. I have absolutely no idea why this is not working...
As Gas pointed out, the issue was that the inbuilt CDI feature in WAS does not work with an external JSF library.
See my post on IBM support page which confirms this.
A way to still make use of web sockets using JSF-2.2 is to use the Javax.websocket package as #Gas pointed out. However the limitation of this web socket implementation is that it is nowhere near as easy to send data contained in a SessionScoped ManagedBean to the client of that session only as it would have been using f:websocket from JSF-2.3 as I would have liked to do.
I've looked at every post I could find on the this issue but every time I do it seems like my configurations are as they should be.
When I type in the URL http:/localhost:8080/ I get the correct index.jsp displayed, but when I type in http:/localhost:8080/account I get the 404 error.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You have added #RequestMapping("/account")
public class AccountController {
above your controller class, Therefore your controller will only map requests with /accounts header only,
As you have added #RequestMapping(value = "/account", method = RequestMethod.GET) in your method also, the controller will be looking for a accounts/accounts/ requests to execute the particular method.
Try http:/localhost:8080/account/account
or remove the class level request mapping.
I am new to startup a Java with Spring 2.5.5 project. But have some problem that the Spring annotation has not been resolved. I means my JSP shows the spring annotation directly, like this:

Finally, output on web browser like this:
Hello World!!!
${msg}
As you see, ${msg} is not rendered. What's wrong?
Thank you very much.
After my investigation, I should correct my question to: "Spring 2.5.6 EL has not been resolved".
And now I know that I can add this statement on every pages those has EL expression inside:
<%# page isELIgnored="false" %>
Yes it can solve my problem. But I don't want to add this statement in too many pages in my project.
I find that it is caused by isELIgnored is default to "true" if web.xml is equal or lower than version 2.3. So that I need to add this code to set isELIgnored to true globally:
<jsp-config>
<jsp-property-group>
<url-pattern>*.jsp</url-pattern>
<el-ignored>false</el-ignored>
</jsp-property-group>
</jsp-config>
But no luck. The EL is still hasn't been resolved.
Someone can help?
Thanks a lot.
Target unreachable error is coming, somehow my bean is not initializing and the value of the bean is coming null. My helloBean reference is coming null.

You placed the Java source file of the backing bean in src/main/resources instead of in src/main/java. So the Java source file won't be compiled into a .class file in /WEB-INF/lib during the build of the WAR file.
Fix your wrong Maven project structure. I think the red cross on the project icon is also hinting to the problem in the project structure.
See also:
Identifying and solving javax.el.PropertyNotFoundException: Target Unreachable
Maven - Standard Directory Layout
Unrelated to the concrete problem: your pom shouldn't let the webapp provide libraries which are already provided by the target server itself, such as JSP, Servlet and EL in case of Tomcat. And, that JSF impl version is ancient.
