This is the Objenesis version that is embedded in Spring. So you don't need the actual Objenesis jar. Which is normally in spring-core.
In your case, I think you have an incompatibility between your spring jar. The easiest solution is probably to upgrade everything to the latest spring version.

Please make sure the jar is in the boot classpath of the server. This is usually the server's lib or endorsed directory, not your application's WEB-INF/lib directory.
See if that solves your problem.
Hope this helps!

Possible discrepancies in pom.xml preventing Spring mappings while launching war on Tomcat 7

I've been working at this problem for quite some time, and am at a loss.
What baffles me beyond belief is that I once had this configuration working with the pom unaltered which makes me think the issue involves configuration within IntelliJ. I thought that may have been due to using an older version of Tomcat 7, but when I went back to try that version (7.0.92), I had the same result. Currently I am on version 7.0.99.
The issue involves no errors, for some reason the Spring mappings aren't being hit, which were previously all logged within the output in the server log. I've tried many tweaks to the pom to no avail.
Currently the Application class has the #SpringBootApplication annotation.
The pom was written previously (so apologies if a bit unweildy); I'm just working to refactor bits at this point to attempt to get it working.
Any help is greatly appreciated, I've scoured the internet quite thoroughly and have been banging my head against the wall for some time now...
Here is the pom for reference:

I have faced this issue today with spring 4.3.3-RELEASE, updating CXF to version 3.1.0 or higher will sort the problem.
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.cxf</groupId>
<artifactId>cxf-rt-frontend-jaxrs</artifactId>
<version>3.1.0</version>
</dependency>
The method getHeaderString is inside HttpHeadersImpl
As this issue reported here long back but It may help others if they are facing the same issue.
I got the same issue and resolved with this approach :-
Check in your application, there should be some other jars which has "HttpHeaders.getHeaderString". You can exclude those jar if you can, else change the jar declaration sequence in pom.xml. So that "cxf-rt-frontend-jaxrs" load first in class path.
I have faced this issue. The problem was fixed after updating Maven to the latest version.

Maven Struts2 project (org.apache.struts:struts2-archetype-starter) created with some issues in intellij idea 15.0.4

I created Struts2 project in IntelliJ IDEA 15.0.4(ultimate edition) using maven3 (chose org.apache.struts:struts2-archetype-starter). After creating this project there're some issues like on screens below. I want to notice that I enabled auto-import for maven.

How to resolve this problem?
Edit pom.xml and add
<properties>
<struts2.version>2.3.24.1</struts2.version>
<project.build.sourceEncoding>UTF-8</project.build.sourceEncoding>
</properties>
<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.struts</groupId>
<artifactId>struts2-core</artifactId>
<version>${struts2.version}</version>
</dependency>
The compilation error points to the missing dependencies in the project configuration. If you are using Maven with IJ you should synchronize Maven configuration with IJ configuration. To let IJ do it automatically you can check box on the notification shown or use project settings.
I've solved this problem. You have to change data in tag <version> in pom.xml. As shows below.
<!-- Logging -->
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.logging.log4j</groupId>
<artifactId>log4j-core</artifactId>
<version>${log4j2.version}</version>
</dependency>
to
<!-- Logging -->
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.logging.log4j</groupId>
<artifactId>log4j-core</artifactId>
<version>2.5</version>
</dependency>

Apparently moving the HtmlUnit dependency to the bottom of the dependencies list fixed the issue. Like peeskillet mentioned, this isn't a complete fix, as we still don't know what caused the issue in the first place, but it works as a first solution. Please do answer if you find the culprit.
I have the same error but html unit is not the solution. I put the httpclient.jar to the top so the problem solved.

Running Unit Tests using Maven in Spring LTW Environment

I am developing an application in a ddd architecture using Spring LoadTimeWeaving feature. The problem is i can run my Junit tests using eclipse but not through Maven. I have tried all the options given on various sites but it simply isn't working. I get the following exception:
Caused by: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'loadTimeWeaver': Initialization of bean failed; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalStateException: ClassLoader [sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader] does NOT provide an 'addTransformer(ClassFileTransformer)' method. Specify a custom LoadTimeWeaver or start your Java virtual machine with Spring's agent: -javaagent:org.springframework.instrument.jar
I have added the instrument jar as a part of argLine to surefire plugin. Following are my code artifacts. Please let me know where i am going wrong or if there is any other solution.
I am using Eclipse Indigo for Development, Maven 3.0 on Mac OSX

springContext.xml (Its has the following tag for enabling LTW feature)
<context:load-time-weaver/>
you need to include a spring-instrument.jar agent as:
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-surefire-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.4</version>
<configuration>
<forkMode>once</forkMode>
<argLine>
-javaagent:"${settings.localRepository}/org/springframework/spring-instrument/${spring.framework.version}/spring-instrument-${spring.framework.version}.jar"
</argLine>
<useSystemClassloader>true</useSystemClassloader>
</configuration>
</plugin>
( replace ${spring.framework.version} and ${settings.localRepository} with your values )
and of course an AspecJ Maven plugin as:
<plugin>
<groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId>
<artifactId>aspectj-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<version>1.3</version>
<executions>
<execution>
<configuration>
<source>1.6</source>
<target>1.6</target>
</configuration>
<goals>
<goal>compile</goal> <!-- use this goal to weave all your main classes -->
<goal>test-compile</goal> <!-- use this goal to weave all your test classes -->
</goals>
</execution>
</executions>
</plugin>
For AspectJ to work, you would also need to add an aspectjrt dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.aspectj</groupId>
<artifactId>aspectjrt</artifactId>
<version>${aspectjrt.version}</version>
</dependency>
Here a full example on how to run AspectJ tests with Maven
