Upgrade spring from 3.2 to 4.0 - spring

Pre-upgrade steps:
1) updated all xml namespace locations to not include version information as recommended by (http://howtodoinjava.com/2013/12/28/do-not-specify-version-numbers-in-spring-schema-references/)
2) updated parent pom.xml to 4.0.0.RELEASE
Everything compiles but while deploying the upgraded war I receive this exception:

This turned out to be a version conflict in my child pom.xml. It was pointing to spring 3.2 and the parent was pointing to 4.0.0

Using Tomcat older than 7.0.70? Version 7.0.12 of JRebel was released that should fix these errors, so try updating your JRebel for Eclipse plugin.

Looks to me like you've got incompatible jars on your classpath. If you're not using Maven or another dependency management tool I suggest that you do.
If you are using Maven check for specified dependencies where versions do not match.

Spring framework hibernate beans

I have included all hibarnate jars, pom.xml file is also correct. What is suprising my friend can run my application on his configuration.

It happens when you have multiple versions of jars added in your maven dependency(mismatch of jar versions), so please check here

It looks like you have multiple versions of hibernate on your classpath. The root cause of this error is
Caused by: java.lang.VerifyError: class org.hibernate.type.WrappedMaterializedBlobType overrides final method getReturnedClass.()Ljava/lang/Class;
My guess is the API changed slightly between versions and your app is loading the wrong version of hibernate (possibly through a transient dependency). It's possible it works on your friend's configuration because the classes just happen to be loaded in the correct order.
Verify that are not including multiple versions, and if you are, try to remove the duplicate (or at least force the right version in the dependencyManagement section of your pom).
