Map customer attribute to account/contact attribute in a workflow - dynamics-crm

Statement: In plain CRM 2015 installation its possible to map customer attribute in campaign response to account/contact in opportunity, but not if its a CRM 2013 installation upgraded to CRM 2015.
True or false? :-)

False. The fact that you upgraded from 2013 has no bearing on the workflow editor's UI or capabilities

NAV to CRM Dynamics connector mapping issue in NAV sales order to CRM order

I am working on Microsoft connector mapping NAV 2016 to CRM 2016. I am facing issue while doing mapping of NAV sales order to CRM order. I have googled but didn't find anything. Looking for solution. Any help would be appreciated.
Image is attached below.
The message is indicating that you are missing a unit in CRM. You should run the map for mapping Unit Schedules and Unit Groups (which should also be listed in the manual before the map for integrating sales orders). This will transfer the needed units from NAV to your product catalog in CRM.
As a side-note, the Connector for Microsoft Dynamics has been deprecated (and has never been a great product). Move to something else:
Dynamics NAV 2016 includes a new interoperability framework for
connecting with Dynamics CRM 2015 (7.x.x.x) and successor versions.
We recommend existing Dynamics NAV connections to Dynamics CRM
versions greater than 2015 transition to this new framework once the
Dynamics NAV instance is updated to Dynamics NAV 2016 or beyond. New
implementations of Dynamics NAV 2016 or beyond and Dynamics CRM 2015
or beyond should use the new NAV framework as well.

Unable to change Plugin and Custom Workflow Activity Tracing setting in Dynamics CRM 2016 on-premise

I'm simply trying to enable tracing in System Settings -> Customization tab and the OK button does not work. There is a JavaScript error which say: "Object doesn't support property or method 'down'"
Has anybody encountered that and have possible workaround to this. I'm using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 on-premise

How to change innerHTML of CRM form in MS Dynamics CRM 2015 form?

I have a form in MS CRM 2015 Online. it was updated to 2015 from 2013 recently.
I have a requirement such that i have to show multi select check boxes on CRM form. In CRM 2013 i have an option set with some options, with those options i am forming HTML with check boxes using script and am changing HTML.
In CRM 2013 i had changed form UI using document.getelemntByID("#element").innerHTML.
but in CRM 2015 javascript is not working. i am unable to get element using doument.getelementbyID.
I am unable to find alternative for this requirement. can any one of suggest me on this?
Those JavaScript commands are not supported by CRM and shouldn't be used.
To do this I would suggest building a web resource and embedding on the page. Then you have full control.

How to get the tracing logs for Dynamics CRM 2015 online reports

I'm working on migrating Dynamics CRM 2013 on prem to Dynamics CRM 2015 online update 1 and have prepared a report that has a child report as well. After successfully uploading the reports and setting up parent/child report relationship. I get "The Report cannot be displayed (rsProcessingAborted)" when I run the report. In case of On-Prem we could look into trace logs, what can we do in case of CRM 2015 online now?
Thanks
Unfortunately the only thing you can do is to get in touch with MS Support to recheck what's wrong with your report.

What is your strategy for adding help topics in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013

How do you customize this help in CRM 2013?
It shows the following for a customized entity
It appears that the configuration of help pages in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013, On-Premise is no longer supported. In CRM 4 it was supported (Reference image 1). In CRM 2011, support was dropped (Reference image 2) and the suggested alternative is the Getting Started pane. In CRM 2013, the Getting Started pane was dropped from the sitemap (Reference image 3).

If its no longer supported. I would add a button to ribbon and open a html webresource populated with help contents. I know used can get confused because of two buttons (custom help button and CRM help button). But with we can train users to use it custom button for help.
Some one have already requested to Microsoft for this functionality. here is the Link
