I'm disabling cookies on firefox, while adding exceptions, but I still have issues - firefox

I added google.com, *.google.com and battlelog.battlefield.com and I still encounter issues with them. For example gmail can't connect to the google chat thing, google drive says it encountered an error, and the battlefield app is just not launching battlefield 3. I have to reenable cookies with some addon button to overcome the issue.
Any idea what I am doing wrong? What is the problem there? Does disabling cookie systemically break websites and prevent them from working?

you cannot use * in cookies exceptions anymore. You must add http://google.com and https://google.com for this.

iOS Universal Links and Outlook SafeLinks Protection

I have universal links implemented, working fine. I send an email to a user, then iOS will open the app if it's installed, or it will go to my website if not. At which point, I use apache mod_rewrite to redirect to a page which gives information on installing the app.
However, some users have hotmail accounts with advance threat protection enabled. So the URL they receive in their inbox is wrapped with https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/? ... which when you follow it, eventually redirect to the correct url. Which opens the app fine on iOS 14, however on iOS 13 it takes me to the web site, regardless if the app is installed or not.
So on iOS 13 the safe links protection totally breaks the universal link configuration.
I'm trying to find way around this. My current thought is to use mod_rewrite to forward to a custom URL, but struggling with that, as mod_rewrite likes to add http:// in front of my redirects.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've seen one stack overflow post on the subject, but not with a solution that works for me.

Slow rendering of data in Google Chrome after intalling SSL certificate on server

I have a .NET C# program rendering on IIS web server. After adding SSL certificate to the server the program takes up to 5 minutes to respond to my request, only in Google Chrome. If I use the old HTTP URL everything is normal and the page is loaded after 33 sec. Does anyone have a suggestion on what causes this slow rendering of HTTPS web-page in Google Chrome?
According to your description, I suggest you could firstly clear all the chrome's cache and update the chrome to the newest version. About how to troubleshoot google chrome's performance issue, you could refer to this article.
If this doesn't solve your issue, I suggest you could try to use chrome F12 develop tool to check what has happened when you send the request to the server. More details about how to use it, you could refer to this article.

Can't enable Google+ API

Today I try to enable Google+ API on API Manager and it said
Error: failed to do requirement checks
What wrong? I just disable it and I want to re-enable again.
This is most likely an outage on Google Developer console even though I am not seeing it on the status page.
There for the fastest way to get it resolved will be to go to the upper right hand corner in google developer console look for the !. Send feed back.
You cant feed back the actually error as its a popup but you can feed back from the screen before you attempt to enable an error.
I am having the same problem. Perhaps it is an outage.
Evidence: I count 5 people here so far that have the issue, and no google results for that exact error message. "Error: failed to do requirement checks" That means, it's a new error, and google's crawler hasn't had time to scrape even this question yet.
It's okay now, I just re-enabling the API and it works.
I think its outage

can't connect with skype neither access skype web site

I'm currently visiting Egypt and skype stopped working after a few days. It gives me "Skype home unavailable" and the status icon keeps spinning. I already searched the net for this issue and tried a few things which did not work. I also tried web skype and it the status icon shows green but messages don't go through anyway. I'm not asking about this general issue which seems to have many possible sources.
Now, while searching for this problem I came to realise that some web pages from skype web site are also not accessible, and I suspect it is either a HTTPS protocol configuration, or the Internet service is blocking skype.
For instance, this page:
https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10953/how-can-i-update-my-windows-firewall-settings-after-reinstalling-or-upgrading-skype
does not work in Firefox ("Secure Conection Failed") and in IE11 it only started working after after I actived SSL 2.0 and 3.0. Still, although skype-web opened once now I'm not even able to open it.
The address https://web.skype.com/ retuns "This page can’t be displayed" in IE11. And the button "Fix connection problems" finds nothing. After a few retries it seems to work out. Skype messages eventually eventually seem to get through but I can never do a live chat or a call or even a real phone call.
So, any idea why I can't access this and other skype pages? Is there some updated authentication protocol not well supported? Is there a way I can track it (I'm not a network specialist but maybe I can try something).
I found about blockage in Egypt: http://stepfeed.com/more-categories/big-news/egypt-blocks-popular-voip-apps-monitoring-facebook-skype/#.V0M9uVIiggQ
but I was able to use it when I arrived.

Uploadify - IO Error with Cloudflare

I'm using Uploadify to upload videos to my website and it is working fine. But my issues is Uploadify returning error, IO-Error when I'm using Cloudflare. Is there any way to use Uploadify with Cloudflare?
I really liked Cloudflare because I see some performance improvement and even they show a message when site is down.
There probably isn't enough detail in the post to really help. Did you try contacting us?
Helpful things to know:
1. Are any CloudFlare error messages happening?
2. Where is this happening (admin back end, etc.).
3. Where that service is making their calls from (IP addresses).
Note: If you do know their IPs, try whitelisting them in your CloudFlare Threat Control panel.
Depending on your configuration of SSL it may happen, some upload scripts have problems with Self-signed certificates (in case you are using Full SSL configuration)
