I have developed a report that is using a flat file for some parameter values. It runs fine in birt designer but when I run it on birtviewer in linux environment, I get the below error
Table (id = 4172):
+ An exception occurred during processing. Please see the following message for details:
Failed to prepare the query execution for the data set: distinct qmid
Failed to prepare the following query for the data set type (org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.oda.flatfile.dataSet).
[select "qmid" from "qmids.csv" : {"qmid","qmid",INT}]
org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.oda.flatfile.InvalidResourceException: Invalid table name:qmids.csv
Can someone please guide what is this error about and how to fix it
I found the problem. There is a bug in Birt that it gives some problem with relative path on flat files. Try to use the absolute path and it should work fine

I'm tryin to import and excel file to my SQL Server Database but when I try to create the form to upload the file I get this error:
Illuminate\Database\QueryException
SQLSTATE[42000]: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server][SQL Server]Error converting data type nvarchar to bigint. (SQL: select top 1 * from [schedules] where [schedules].[id] = import)
Screenshoot of error
Even when I have the function in the controller it throws this error. Seems that is trying to get 1 record from database but cannot pass the nvarchar to match the ID column.
I have checked the documentation and nothing. Made it a few times, different methods with same error.
Seems that I figured it out. It was problem with the routing calling de show function
I had the same issue and trying to find the solution came upon this question. Thankfully I read the comments as Fernando's solution was also mine.
This was caused by a misordered Route in web.php
Route::Get('label/{label}' ...
...
Route::Get('label/create' ...
I swapped the order and all fixed
Route::Get('label/create' ...
...
Route::Get('label/{label}' ...
I am using SSIS for ETL. Source and destination databases are Oracle.
When I run job through SQL agent its prompts me with the following error:
This table contains 5 date columns which are creating this issue.
I have tried all possible solution but it didn't work. It does not seems data issue as I rerun job on those selective dates which worked perfectly. On full load it failed.
The bottom error message is:
Data Flow: Task:Error: SQLSTATE 22007, Message: [Microsoft][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver]Invalid datetime format. Error in parameter 17.
You have an Invalid datetime format. You need to fix it by correcting either the data or the format model you are using but, since you haven't included any code, we can't help further.
I have a similar issue, the difference is my source is the SQL Server database and the destination is Oracle database.
I converted the source DateTime columns to type String first and then they were loaded to destination date columns successfully.
I’m extracting data from a table in Oracle.
I have an ODBC connection manager to the Oracle database and the query for extraction should include a where clause because the table contain transactional data and there is no reason to extract it all every time.
I want initialize the table once and do it in with a For Loop which will iterate the whole table.
Since it’s an ODBC connection I can’t just put a where clause because I need to use a variable hence I realized I need to parameterize the DataFlow task and write my query at the sqlcommand property containing the ODBC source.
The property value is:
SELECT *
FROM DDC.DDC_SALES_TBL
WHERE trunc(CALDAY) between to_date('"+ #[User::vstart]+"','MM/DD/YYYY')
and to_date('"+ #[User::vstop]+"','MM/DD/YYYY')
Where the #vstart and #vstop are variables containing the ‘from/to’ dates to be extracted based on a DATEADD function and another variable (#vcount) which supposed to be the iterator as follows:
(DT_WSTR, 2) MONTH( DATEADD( "day", #[User::vcount] , GETDATE() ) )+"/"+
(DT_WSTR, 2) DAY( DATEADD( "day", #[User::vcount] , GETDATE() ) )+"/"+
(DT_WSTR, 4) YEAR( DATEADD( "day", #[User::vcount] , GETDATE() ) )
What’s happening is that the first iteration works fine but the second one generates an error and the package fails.
I marked the variable as EvaluateAsExpression=True
I also marked the DelayValidation=True in both the For Loop and the DataFlow tasks.
The errors are:
(1)Data Flow Task:Error: SQLSTATE: HY010, Message: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Function sequence error;
(2) Data Flow Task:Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_INDUCEDTRANSFORMFAILUREONERROR. The "ODBC Source.Outputs[ODBC Source Output]" failed because error code 0xC020F450 occurred, and the error row disposition on "ODBC Source" specifies failure on error. An error occurred on the specified object of the specified component. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
(3) Data Flow Task:Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED. The PrimeOutput method on ODBC Source returned error code 0xC0209029. The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
Please assist.
I don't know why initially i didn't use OLEDB, as I thought it doesn't work.
What i tried was to use create an OLEDB via oracle driver and the connection manager worked so i used it.
As this way you can parameterize the source directly and the loop worked just fine.
Don't know what cause the conflict with the OBDC source but that's my workaround.
I didn't find a way to setup the sqlcommand property in ODBC source and using it in a loop which should change the the command every iteration. It crashed after the first iteration ni matter what i tried.
Thanks,
I was having the same issue when using Oracle Source, updating the Attunity Connectors for Oracle as well as the OLEDB driver for SQL Server worked to fix the problem.
I have one SSIS package in which there is one DFT. In DFT, I have one Oracle source and one Oracle destination.
In Oracle destination I am using Data Access Mode as 'Table Name - Fast Load (Using Direct Path)'
There is one strange issue with that. It is failing with the following error
[Dest 1 [251]] Error: Fast Load error encountered during
PreLoad or Setup phase. Class: OCI_ERROR Status: -1 Code: 0 Note:
At: ORAOPRdrpthEngine.c:735 Text: ORA-00604: error occurred at
recursive SQL level 1 ORA-01405: fetched column value is NULL
I thought it is due to NULL values in source but there is no NOT NULL constraint in the destination table, so it should not be an issue. And to add into this, the package is working fine in case of 'Normal Load' but 'Fast Load'.
I have tried using NVL in case of NULL values from source but still no luck.
I have also recreated the DFT with these connections but that too in vain.
Can some one please help me with this?
It worked fine after recreating the oracle table with the same script
I am trying to execute the query below:
INSERT OVERWRITE TABLE nasdaq_daily
PARTITION(stock_char_group)
select exchage, stock_symbol, date, stock_price_open,
stock_price_high, stock_price_low, stock_price_close,
stock_volue, stock_price_adj_close,
SUBSTRING(stock_symbol,1,1) as stock_char_group
FROM nasdaq_daily_stg;
I have already set hive.exec.dynamic.partition=true and hive.exec.dynamic.partiion.mode=nonstrict;.
Table nasdaq_daily_stg table contains proper information in the form of a number of CSV files. When I execute this query, I get this error message:
Caused by: java.lang.SecurityException: sealing violation: package org.apache.derby.impl.jdbc.authentication is sealed.
FAILED: Execution Error, return code -101 from org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.exec.MapRedTask
The mapreduce job didnt start at all. So there are no logs present in the jobtracker web-UI for this error. I am using derby to store meta-store information.
Can someone help me fix this?
Please try this. This may be the issue. You may be having Derby classes twice on your classpath.
"SecurityException: sealing violation" when starting Derby connection
