JDeveloper 11.1.1.6 weblogic startup issue - jdeveloper

I created an simple skeletal web application. I created only a simple blank JSF page. Right click and run. Then I got the following message in the Log console.
The Server Instance cannot be started because the Integrated Weblogic domain was not built successfully.
Can anybody suggest me why I am getting this error?

Your question does not provide detailed information.
The best way would be to go to weblogic domain options from start menu and create a new domain.
Then link that domain in jdeveloper and use the same. Delete the integrated domain i.e. base_domain folder.

There were 2 ways this problem can be fixed:
Try starting and fixing any issues with the Integrated weblogic domain. Till that is not starting successfully, JDeveloper cannot do anything on that. For me one time startup of the current domain outside of the Jdeveloper solved the issue. After that it was working fine from JDeveloper too.
Another option is as stated by vijayinani above to create a new domain and link it. But, beware your integrated base_domain is not having anything which you need to preserve if you plan to delete that.

websphere application server profiles

What creates the profiles under {install_dir}/IBM/WebSphere/Appserver/profiles
I'm working on RHEL. Installed WAS 7 and WebSphere Commerce. All of this is scripted given to me by others.
At some point a folder gets created under profiles. However, I must have done something to mess this up, because on subsequent attempts to repeat this on new servers the folder doesn't get created.
WebSphere application server profiles are created and managed either using IBM Profile Management Tool (PMT) GUI or the command line version, manageProfiles in the bin dir. More general infomation about profiles can be found in this IBM KnowledgeCenter topic.
Found the answer. This is WAS meets Commerce. So the WAS "profile" gets created when Commerce creates what it calls an "instance". On my system, this is performed within the script:
{scripts}/IBM_WCS/instance_Creation.sh
Whether that comes from the vendor or is an invention of my predecessor, I have no idea. But once I got that to run, the profile appeared.

How I get IntelliJ UE and Tomcat 9 to run my web application? (Mac OS)

I have searched everywhere for this. I'm sure I have read the information correctly but can't seem to get a full understanding of it.
I used this tutorial to get things going (https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/2016.3/creating-and-running-your-first-web-application.html). I do everything step by step but when it comes to running my web app, The localhost shows the official page of Tomcat and not my index.jsp that I have created. I've tried every path combination to try to get my index to show but I have had no luck.
I have done a lot of googling on this and it seems to be that when I run tomcat it reads the files from the webapps/ROOT folder instead of my project folder. How can I get my intellij or tomcat to read the files from my project? I keep reading that its my run configurations but everything looks good to me, and no one really shows what to actually do.
I wouldn't be asking unless I have tried doing this my self for hours. I'm sorry if it is really simple I just can't see it and would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance

It looks like you already have Tomcat service started on port 8080, therefore IntelliJ IDEA cannot start another instance and perform the deployment.
You need to shut down the service running on port 8080 so that IDE can start its own copy of the server and perform the configuration/deployment on start.
brew services stop tomcat should help in your case.

Oracle BPM Authentication Service Error

Recently I have installed and configured the Oracle BPM Suit and able to access Oracle Business Process Composer using the link as mentioned below
http://localhost:7001/bpm/composer/
But sometimes it take too long time to enter me to the dashboard and shows "Authentication Service Error, please contact the Administrator".
I have done the windows environment setup.
I have checked my credentials and sometimes it allows me to enter but sometimes this annoying message comes to me. I don't know what's wrong with the authentication service. I'll be grateful for any help/recommendation.
I went through the same problem, here are some suggestions:
Remove DOMAIN and create another, remembering that everything will be lost;
Create another user WebLogic;
If you want to solve the problem look for logs on WebLogic or in the DOMAIN directory, to understand the problem;
Recently consultants ORACLE were here on business and found that the 12c version is not stable. Look for patches on the Oracle website.

Deploying applications to Web Logic production Server

I am here to get some expert advice on deploying applications to WebLogic Production Server.
Is it a best practice to use Admin Server Console for deploying and redeploying applications in production. Actually I am deploying to a cluster having two managed server instances.
I have encountered this issue while i am redeploying application in the production. When i am deleting existing .ear file and adding updated .ear file will put the updated .ear file into prepared state. I can not make it Active state using Admin Server Console. If i try it will through some exceptions. But after some time it automatically goes in to active state, but i don't know what is happening inside. Sometimes i restart the server to make it active. Could anybody explain me what is the procedure when deploying application and redeploying applications in weblogic
Thanks in advance for any Help...
Generally WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool) is used to deploy the applications. Administration Console can also be used to deploy/upgrade the applications but if there are many environments that need to be upgraded then WLST (which works like a command line tool) is much better option.
Get an overview of WLST to know how to use it to deploy/undeploy/upgrade applications.
Check out "Understanding WebLogic Server Deployment" and the "Redeploying Applications in a Production Environment". There are different factors that affect redeployment of an application which you might be running into.

Additionally, there is a WebLogic Plug-in for Maven in more recent WebLogic releases that you can use for deployments in conjunction with Maven.

How to actually configure debugging in CFBuilder

I have ColdFusion Builder 2.0.0 installed and I am trying to look at the much vaunted step debugging. However, I cannot seem to get it to work as I don't have my site / JRun install setup in the naive way the examples show.
I am using version 9,0,1,274733 of ColdFusion and my configuration is as follows:-
Installed as multi-server version with Jrun here:- c:\Apps\JRun4
application files are here:- d:\websites\my.website.com
web root is here d:\websites\my.website.com\www
core library of CFCs is here d:\websites\frameworks\core which is mapped in CF as core
I have read this watched this http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusionBuilder/Using/WS0ef8c004658c1089-31c11ef1121cdfd6aa0-7fff.html and this http://forta.com/blog/index.cfm/2007/5/30/CF8-Debugger-Getting-Started and watched this https://experts.adobeconnect.com/_a204547676/p33029638/?launcher=false&fcsContent=true&pbMode=normal but I get stuck at the point after you have configured RDS and you are setting up the server for your project.
Now I am pretty sure the above is correct, when I move to the next page in the wizard I get the following:-
Now I as I understand it my Server Home should be c:\Apps\JRun4 and my Document root should be d:\websites\my.website.com
This all looks like it is going to be fine until you actually try and debug when I get
followed by
I can confirm that the server is running and RDS is enabled as in the RDS Dataview I can see all my databases.
Any help would be gratefully received as this is very frustrating and the documentation is very lacking.
There is a video tutorial as well that you may want to check and see if that helps. http://blogs.adobe.com/anand/2011/01/learn-how-to-debug-coldfusion-applications-using-coldfusion-builder-2.html
You need to specify the RDS username/password and the "application server name". If you are using the base instance that was installed when you setup the multiserver install of CF that is "cfusion", otherwise its the name of the instance you are using.
The RDS username is most likely "admin" unless you setup custom users for RDS. The password is the RDS password you specified when you installed CF.
